Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand strolled into an upstate eatery maskless, in violation of a statewide mandate, according to video footage posted by the irate restaurateur. John La Posta, manager of the Innovo gastropub in Latham, said Gillibrand blew past a large sign reading “masks required to enter,” and that his own staff didn’t even have time to ask her to put one on as she quickly brushed past them toward the tables.(Snip)In December fellow Dem Gov. Hochul announced that indoor masking would be required “in all indoor public places unless businesses or venues implement a vaccine requirement.” Noncompliance can bring a $1,000 fine. Gillibrand is doing what all rulers do; what they want with no regard to the laws and regulations that they impose on their subjects/slaves!
Congress is hopelessly corrupt and disconnected from reality! Thanks to an apathetic and feckless voter base, these people run roughshod over the constitution and We, the People! Make no mistake; the blame for this lawlessness and reckless behavior from the politicians rests squarely on the shoulders of those who voted for these corrupt individuals and those that cannot be bothered to vote at all!

Hey, stop complaining!
"Rules" are for little people - IMPORTANT people (especially democrats) can do whatever they want - and anyone who complains is a DOMESTIC TERRORIST!!

In any dictatorship, the rules apply to the unwashed peasants, not to the members of the ruling Politburo!!!!
However, I am not angry at her. Nobody should be forced to wear a chin diaper that does nothing to stop the spread or reception of the virus. If someone tries to stop you, just say that Sen. Gillibrand said it was OK to not wear one!!!

Her "Apology" and promise to "Do Better" needs to be accompanied by a $1000 check, or charges filed. She was caught red handed, redfaced, and has admitted "Guilt"

To Reply @2- I live in UpState NYS. I did not vote for her, but voters downState determine who is elected in NYS. I think she is a useless politician. However, the rule that people should wear a mask while walking into or out of a restaurant, and then taking the mask off while eating, is IMBECILIC and an example of all Democrat politicians in NYS, starting with our new WOKE Socialist Governor. Anyone think the virus particles know where the demarcation lines are ? Whoever came up with the 6 foot rule has their head 6 feet up their butt.

What happened to that piglet? She used to be an attractive woman once upon a time - now she transformed into something that gives PIAPS a run for her money as ugliest slag.
Guess the evil of being a leftist real does take its toll.

Thinks she’s above the law? No, she quite clearly is above the law, just like her predecessor Hillary Clinton. And we love it. The peasants are free to report the violation to the online portal, an action that probably places them on a watch list of some kind, and any fine levied (which amounts to pocket change to her) would be paid by "campaign funds" anyhow.
