Jan. 6: Seven Democrat Lies

Original Article

It was hardly a surprise that the Democrats shamelessly exploited the first anniversary of last January’s Capitol riot to resuscitate their stalled political agenda. Nor was it difficult to predict that various news outlets would attempt to bolster their sagging ratings with sensationalized coverage of the mayhem that occurred that afternoon. Nonetheless, the mendacity that permeated the speeches of the politicians and the coverage of the media was truly startling even by Beltway standards. It is impossible to debunk every lie that was told yesterday in a single article, but here are the most egregious falsehoods:

So the Demon-Rats lied through their teeth?!?!?!? How is this even news?!?!?!? It's what they do 24/7/365!!! Now if you could ever find a Demon-Rat telling the truth, that would be major news (and pretty much an impossible miracle)!!!! Of course, if a Demon-Rat did slip up and tell the truth, their sad and unexpected "suicide" would be very soon to follow...

The only thing yesterdays celebration by the democrats (and Ted Cruz on Tucker) did was to point out once again how pathetically corrupt and stupid they are. I’ve never seen Cruz in quicksand before but there he was. Is he dating Liz Cheney now or what?

When Biden, Harris, and the leftist and socialist Democrats talk about “Our Democracy” being in danger, what they are really talking about is their leftist and socialist Democrat political agenda being in danger by future actions taken by the wimpy Republicans and patriots across the land. Once you recognize those facts it is easy to figure out the leftist and socialist Democrats disingenuous political game.

Yes, we know. Democrat despicable behavior is so common these days that all shock value is lost. An article like this appearing in the NYT or the WaPo might reach the leftist public who considers all of this theater the truth. Biden was especially hate-filled and mentally scrambled yesterday. His words all welcomed a good punch in the face. Normally, demented behavior like this would attract sympathy but he does not deserve it, he acted this way before his brain became fried.

Don’t get your hopes up, because this advice isn’t quite what it sounds like. Joe Biden’s former COVID-19 adviser have begun a public campaign to get the White House to end the “perpetual state of emergency” that the Biden administration keeps extending. It’s time to dump “zero COVID” for a practical path forward on endemicity, they say … but is that what they’re proposing? The New York Times covered this as breaking news of a sort, but the real point of these proposals is to enshrine the emergency state into permanence: On the day President Biden was inaugurated, the advisory board of health experts who counseled him

The 2020 presidential election was unlike any in American history. Hundreds of laws and processes were changed in the months leading up to the election, sometimes legally and sometimes not, creating chaos, confusion, and uncertainty. Tech oligarch Mark Zuckerberg, one of the world’s wealthiest and most powerful men, spent $419 million — nearly as much as the federal government itself — to interfere in the government’s management of the election in key states.

Democrats are putting the squeeze on Sen. Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.), as they race the clock to try to figure out what, if any, filibuster changes can pass muster in a 50-50 Senate. Senate Majority Leader Charles Schumer’s decision to force a vote on changes to the rules by Jan. 17 puts Democrats on a high-profile collision course with their own colleagues absent an agreement, an effort that the New York Democrat acknowledges is an “uphill fight.” Democrats, under pressure from their own colleagues and outside groups, are scrambling to bring the negotiations with their conservative colleague to a close as they vow to bring the issue to a head

Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam, D., took heat Wednesday after blaming thousands of drivers for being on the road only to be left stranded on Interstate 95 due to heavy snowfall that crippled snow removal crews. "We gave warnings, and people need to pay attention to these warnings, and the less people that are on the highways when these storms hit, the better," Northam told The Washington Post.A sitting senator, Sen. Tim Kaine, D-Va., was among the stranded drivers Tuesday. He documented his nightmarish commute on Twitter, finally reaching the Capitol after 27 hours.

The latest proclamation from King Joe runs counter to the buzz promoted by the media. Supposedly, Joe Manchin had returned to negotiations on Joe Biden’s Build Back Better plan, and might even have signaled a willingness to do a nuclear-option carve-out on the filibuster for the election-federalizing SB1.Not so fast, Manchin said a few minutes ago. First, no one’s changed positions at all on BBB and there haven’t been any new talks so far: ( Snip for video)That’s pretty clearly been dead for a while. Sure, the aching hip and broken relationships can be put off for another day, but the lost job, wrecked car, and empty bank account require immediate attention. President Biden and the Democrats are — simultaneously — working to stave off the failure of his economic agenda, control a once-again rampaging pandemic, mitigate the effects of the worst inflation since 1982, and rescue democracy from new laws that permit the GOP to nullify the next election, all before they likely lose both chambers

It was inevitable that the implosion of the Biden administration would lure former presidential candidate Hillary Clinton back onto the political stage. The voters showed her the door five years ago, yet she remains unable to grasp what they were trying to tell her. The latest manifestation of this learning disability began last month with an online lecture series in which Clinton holds forth on “The Power of Resilience.” The series culminates with a cringeworthy reading, complete with feigned attempt to hold back tears, of the speech she purportedly prepared in anticipation of victory in 2016.

It took many hours of deliberation, but a jury finally reached a verdict in the trial of the year — one that should have been the trial of the year ten years ago. Ghislaine Maxwell could face decades in prison for sex trafficking of minors after getting convicted of five out of six counts in her indictment. As NBC News reports, Jeffrey Epstein’s literal partner in crime might also face a new trial for two counts of perjury: British socialite Ghislaine Maxwell was convicted Wednesday of five federal sex trafficking charges after a jury concluded that she played a pivotal part in recruiting and grooming teenage girls to be sexually abused

Agrowing body of academic research is chronicling the toll that pandemic lockdowns imposed on children, warning that the mental and social anguish the policies caused outweigh the health protections. The “overall impact of COVID-19 restrictions on the mental health and well-being of children and adolescents is likely to be severe,” an Oxford University professor warned in a recent analysis. A study published by Brown University said lockdowns, mandates and other restrictions are likely to create a generation of children with lower IQs and signs of social brain damage. Other studies have reported increased mental illnesses

"We ignore the lessons of January 6 at our own peril. Democracy is fragile; it cannot survive without leaders of integrity and character who care more about the strength of our Republic than about winning the next election," Romney said in a statement. "I said last year that the best way we can show respect for voters who are upset is by telling them the truth," he added.

Most people look at the choice of Kamala Harris for Vice President and scratch their head. “Why would anyone pick a person so wildly devoid of political talent or even the basics of likability?” they wonder. The conventional wisdom is that she checked the right number of boxes to fulfill left-wing interest group demands, which is partially true, of course. Overlooked, however, is how there is one more, rather good and important reason Joe Biden, or really any politician, would pick someone like Harris: because by comparison, you’ll always look better. Harris is such a singularly grating personality that she polls lower than lemon juice on an open wound.

"I do think in places that we are seeing this really steep incline, that we may well see also a precipitous decline, but we're also a much bigger country than South Africa," Walensky said in a briefing with reporters.

Hospitalizations of U.S. children under 5 with COVID-19 soared in recent weeks to their highest level since the pandemic began, according to government data released Friday on the only age group not yet eligible for the vaccine. The worrisome trend in children too young to be vaccinated underscores the need for older kids and adults to get their shots to help protect those around them, said Dr. Rochelle Walensky, director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Since mid-December, with the highly contagious omicron variant spreading furiously around the country, the hospitalization rate in these youngest kids has surged to more than 4 in 100,000 children, up from 2.5 per 100,000.

The liberal wing of the Supreme Court embarrassed itself Friday with a slew of false claims about COVID-19 during oral arguments over Joe Biden’s vaccine mandates. For example, Justice Stephen Breyer claimed hospitals are at capacity because of unvaccinated Americans with COVID. This is false. But perhaps the most ridiculous false claim from a Supreme Court justice came from Justice Sonia Sotomayor, who falsely claimed that 100,000 children are in “serious condition” from COVID. “We have hospitals that are almost at full capacity with people severely ill on ventilators. We have over 100,000 children, which we’ve never had before, in serious condition, and many on ventilators,” Sotomayor claimed.
