As the anniversary of the Capitol Hill riot from January 6 approaches, the media have ramped up their efforts to remind us about that day. Every Sunday show featured someone involved with the U.S. Capitol. While "Fox News Sunday" spoke with chief of U.S. Capitol Police, Thomas Manger, who took on such a role in July. The other shows featured members from the select committee on January 6, including Reps. Adam Schiff (D-CA), Liz Cheney (R-WY), and Bennie Thompson (D-MS). I haven't heard of any TV programs that had Lieutenant Michael Leroy Byrd as a guest. Lieutenant Michael Leroy Byrd was a member of the Capitol Police force on January 06, 2021. Lieutenant Michael Leroy Byrd shot and killed unarmed Air Force veteran Ashli Babbitt inside the Capitol Building on January 06, 2021. Attorney General Merrick "Gestapo" Garland and the Demented Fuhrer made sure that Lieutenant Michael Leroy Byrd would go unscathed courtesy of the Deep State Swamp creatures.

For the life of me, I cannot think of any circumstances where President Trump did anything to threaten the US Constitution as President before January 6th or after! I just can't see what these Democrats/Progressives claim to witness! Now "no one is above the law" Joe Biden, purposely ignoring US law, that's another matter!

Seventeen alleged gang members responsible for a spate of shootings, including four murders, were charged in an 118-count indictment in Brooklyn on Tuesday, officials announced. The defendants, 14 of whom are teenagers, are accused of hunting down rival gang members and committing a series of armed assaults, killing four people and wounding 10 in the process, the Brooklyn District Attorney’s Office said. (Photos) “One of the most disturbing aspects of this case is the age of the defendants in this indictment. Some of them were as young as 14 or 15 years old” when the crimes were committed, said Brooklyn DA Eric Gonzalez at a news conference.

Riots? What riots? Insurrection in American cities in 2020? Nothing to see here, folks. Move along. Thus it is with the Stalinesque show trial that is the January 6 Committee. As my colleague Melissa Mackenzie illustrated yesterday, “the Democrats are running their committee like a criminal trial.” It is indeed blatantly unconstitutional and no one is attempting to stop them. Why?What is particularly telling about the hysteria over January 6 is that infinitely worse riots took place across America in 2020 — a series of genuine and decidedly violent insurrections in the name of Black Lives Matter — and there is nary an investigation in sight.

A lengthy New York Times editorial over the weekend has set the stage for this week’s Jan. 6 anniversary coverage. “Every Day Is Jan. 6 Now,” declare the Times editors, warning that Republican lawmakers in 41 states “have been trying to advance the goals of the Jan. 6 rioters — not by breaking laws but by making them.”The argument itself, that tweaking state election law is somehow a subversion of democracy, is absurd and incredibly lazy. But it’s important to note, if only because it will serve as the baseline narrative for the entire corporate media’s Jan. 6 coverage this week.Their message — they will all have more or less

More activism. More overt grabbing readers and viewers by the lapels and scaring them. "Shout it from the rooftops," she insisted.

With the turn of the calendar to 2022, Republicans are not only looking to the 2022 midterm elections but to the prospect of Donald Trump running in 2024. Trump is hugely popular with the party’s base and that popularity freezes the plans of other possible candidates for the 2024 nomination. Trump’s hold on that nomination is brittle, however, because of his age. On election day in 2024 Donald Trump will be 78 years old.
