FDIC Chairman Jelena McWilliams announced her resignation Friday in an open letter addressed to President Biden, just weeks after she warned of a "hostile takeover" of the agency by Democrats. McWilliams, a Serbian immigrant, has lived in the country for decades and boasts a successful career in law, finance, and banking policy.
"When I immigrated to this country 30 years ago, I did so with a firm belief in the American system of government," McWilliams wrote in the letter.
"During my tenure at the Federal Reserve Board of Governors, the United States Senate, and the FDIC, I have developed a deep appreciation for these venerable institutions and their traditions."

She was Chairman, and quit. The Democrats could not get around that. She did not use the power when she was in possession of it, something Republicans do, but not Democrats.

The many Knotseez in the administration want to implement their anti-American agenda to please the Demented Fuhrer. They see the upcoming red tsunami wave and are going full speed to destroy the culture. Those names need to be noted and accountability needs to happen.

Bull crap Republichickens never use their power to make progress. The Democrats use positions like this to take control and destroy the rule of law. Republicans just maintain the Status Quo at best but truth be known they are both part of the Uniparty whose goal is global control.

The "hostile takeover" included the entire US Government and all of its agencies. The republicans laid down and wagged their tails.

Not exactly a profile in courage. RINOs quickly roll over or take a hike when confronted by a problem.

There is simply no one in the federal US government that’s on the side of the people paying their salaries.

Maybe there was some threat to any of her family back in the old country. With slime like the DNC, how will you ever know.

A Trump holdover. Surprised there are any left. They wanted her gone.
The article does not go into detail about why she quit, but it does say the banking board was controlled by the other party, and they were working around her to institute their own agenda. The article showed her testifying before a Senate and House committee where the topic was "Making the banking system work for everyone".
What will an incompetent corrupt 'woke' Communist anti-American banking system look like? First and foremost, the Democrats are thieves. The Lady Chihuahua says it was shades of Midas Mulligan in Atlas Shrugged.
Look for another banking crisis. One that the FDIC will be unable to cover and will try to cover up. The current administration has wrecked everything else.
F Joe Biden!

See your full vax card to have your money? Like grandma - keep your money in the mattress, for what it will buy in a year or two.

She seems to be aware of the power grab by socialists...having immigrated from a totalitarian regime...she knows full well the dangers of an out of control marxist establishment....such as the one residing in Washington DC now...WE need term limits so this takeover of politicians who have had the power for 40/50 years like biden and pelosi...and many others...

I am sorry she felt forced to quit. She could have worked to protect the American public from the depredations that are coming.

It’s really not Dems vs Pubbies anymore, it’s G-d fearing, hard working patriots vs Godless, slothful, socialists.

#17 - Term limits don't work. Californians voted for term limits back in the 1990's. Instead of squatting in one position for decades the thieves play musical chairs; from state assemblyman to state senator, then on to the federal congress and possibly the senate. If they run out of elected offices, there remains the myriad appointments to the endless commissions that regulate every aspect of our lives. New boss same as the old boss.

Addendum: Also term limits do not apply to staff. The civil service protected staff positions become even more powerful as the "face" of the elected leader will be gone in 8 years.
