US President Joe Biden and his Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelensky spoke by phone on Sunday amid growing fears that a Russian military buildup near the border with its pro-Western neighbor heralds an invasion. The show of US support for Ukraine comes days after Biden warned Russian President Vladimir Putin of severe consequences if Moscow invades the former Soviet country in a separate phone call earlier last week.'President Biden made clear that the United States and its allies and partners will respond decisively if Russia further invades Ukraine,'

Every time Senile Joe biden makes a threat to Putin, you know Putin hangs up and rolls on the floor laughing his derriere off the senile and impotent threats of a spineless weaking like biden.
Sadly, I seriously doubt Zelensky is laughing at all. More like crying in utter despair that the once most powerful nation on Earth can't be counted on to save them if Russia decides to attack.

You got to hope that the words “respond decisively” means the same thing to Biden’s handlers, the Ukrainians, and Putin. As a mistake in translation could cause a lot of people to die. Chances are that Biden himself, if asked, could not accurately remember what he told the Russians and the Ukrainians.

I have nothing against Ukraine, but they need to be doing more to repel any invasion. Begging the West for help is not going to deter Putin. Ukraine has a fairly large military by European standards and it could be deployed to its eastern border.

Dear Pres. Zelensky, As you may already know, Joe Biden couldn’t organize a kegger in a brewery or an orgy in a brothel. He couldn’t plan a panty raid at Hanes or a toga party at a men’s college. You are like us: sunk in his loose Cream-of-Wheat based doo-doo for three more long years. His promise to help is as fleeting as the bubbles in the water glass where he keeps his dentures - dentures that he got on sale when Secretariat died. IOW, you’re on your own. Good luck, soldier! No, we won't. Xiden isn't going to do jack, and neither are any of the members of NATO. This is all about Putin rattling the saber to keep NATO out of Ukraine.
NATO was rendered useless when we were stupid enough to bring Turkey into the organization. It basically serves no purpose these days except to drain our coffers so the EU can get us to pay for their common defense, all the time while fighting against us economically.
Enough of this crap. I couldn't care less what Putin does in Ukraine. The US propped up their government in the first place against Putin, and Xiden is up to his wrinkled arse in corruption with that government. When Putin green-lighted Nordstrom-2, he emboldened Putin to once again move forward aggressively, because he showed that a Xiden redline is equal to an Obama redline.
If Europe wants to protect the Ukraine, I suggest the EU trots out THEIR army to do it. They have been kissing Putin's arse for years hiding behind the US Military.
No more.

#10, why fight when the US will come and sacrifice its men and women to fight for you? Isn’t that our modus operandi since WWII? Unfortunately, our political class has never seen a conflict that they did not want to dive right into. That is one thing I always admired about President Trump. He knew we were being taken advantage of and wanted no part of unnecessary wars which was another reason that many Republicans hated him. He just would not feed the military/industrial complex to their satisfaction.

The last time the only thing a Democrat administration did to prevent aggression against Ukraine was to send them blankets and tell Putin to back off. They refused to proved weapons to Ukraine to defend itself. We all know how that worked out. Now Biden is repeating this policy minus the blankets.
In reply to Biden’s call to Putin, Putin essentially said, “Let’s go Brandon.”

I see much of the crowd spoiling for a fight with Russia...not that they will be involved in the shooting. This is NATO's "finest hour", and one doesn't see the Germans, Italians, Dutch or Danes mobilizing, sending troops and equipment to Ukraine in solidarity. But the USA needs to be there as "Leader of the Free Loaders."
Ever ask why the Russians and Chinese are sooooo successful in their vexing adventures, while the US is regularly facing disaster in places like Iraq, Afghanistan, and Taiwan? I suggest their list of allies is incredibly devoid of any that matter. They don't even like one another. And Putin/Xi don't end up in shooting wars when other means will do. But, that's just not the American way, is it?

The US and NATO have no effective strategy to deal with the Ukrainian issue. China, Russia’s de facto ally, will support them in any action short of all out war. China has all the power levers and intervene in any economic sanctions. It doesn’t help that Democrats belittled the Ukrainian president with false accusations during the impeachment hearings and Biden and family have left the impression that Ukraine is a corrupt country. Who wants to die or risk a large scale conflict for a corrupt country or even a “woke” US military for that matter?
Russia doesn’t want NATO at their doorstep just like the US would not accept Russia at its doorstep. Remember the Cuban Missile Crisis?
This an example of the law of unintended consequences whenever you vote Democratic.

Some may forget that the reason Ukraine looks to the USA for support and protection arises from one of those disarmament agreements entered into early in the Obama administration or perhaps during the Dubya administration. Basically, Russia was concerned that Ukraine could get hostile and had some weaponry that could harm Russia. So, the USA pressured Ukraine to dispose of its heavy weaponry, Ukraine agreed, Russia agreed play nice, and the USA agreed to defend Ukraine against future Russian aggression. We all know how far to trust Russia's non-aggression pacts.
Of course, when Putin invaded the Crimea during Obie's administration, the best Obie would do to assist Ukraine was to send blankets and MRE's. During the Trump administration, the USA did send some useful armaments and ammunition. Note that Putin didn't invade any more of Ukraine during the Trump administration, because Trump is smart and likes to be unpredictable and was no shrinking violet. Now, with the progressives in charge of the USA and of Biden, Russia is once again forgetting its non-aggression agreement and is sharpening its knives.
It's unfair to blame Ukraine for relying on the USA for protection/assistance. Ukraine gave up its armaments at USA's insistence and in return for USA's promise to protect. Thank the State Department for that one.

Even if the QB throws an errant pass, if it is tipped into the hands of a member of the offense who then scores a touchdown, the QB gets the credit for a completed pass and a TD. I never cared for Rosen, but his testimony moots furher argument as to Trump's alleged inaction. The Democrats will pretend not to know this, but they know.
