Fox News Channel's chief religion correspondent Lauren Green adores the way Christmas hymns remind us of the true meaning of Christmas. In an essay included in the new book "All American Christmas" by Rachel Campos-Duffy and Sean Duffy, Green shares her appreciation for the "wonderful theological truths in the nugget and the form of a familiar tune. They are just so powerful."

I don't think I wish to celebrate with the people in this country that want to take away my freedoms. We are not speaking, and it is not going to get better.

Yes, I am hoping logical positivism died in 2020, the one of driving God out of the public square because we can do fine without mentioning Him. No we can't. Without God nobody seems able to describe the difference between justice and power, men and women, truth and lies, peace and war, racism and going-about-your-business. Can't run an economy, can't unite a country. My Sweet Lord! Please come back here! It is no fun without you and it makes no sense!

The personal stories behind most of these hymns, some of which are very old, continually touch our hearts in many ways as they give hope and courage even when we find ourselves in similar situations. Other times the hymns simply inspire us to sing for the pure joy at realizing God's endless love and grace for us, ''while we were yet sinners.'' Christmas hymns are particularly joyful as the celebrate our Saviors birth.

Hymns and patriotic songs are also a unifying experience for the groups which gather to sing them. They reinforce deeply held beliefs and leave the participants feeling connected and unified. Now do you see why it was so important to suppress hymn singing along with the lockdowns?

May your hearts be filled with so much love and songs for Jesus Christ this season, that it overflows into this dark, cold world, that Satan and his minons cannot quench its zeal. Merry Christmas with Love to all my friends at Lucianne.

Hillary Clinton hits Americans as gullible,

Failed Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton on Tuesday praised the legislative accomplishments of President Biden while appearing to claim that everyday Americans didn't understand or "appreciate" them. During an appearance on MSNBC's "The Rachel Maddow Show," Clinton complained about the successful "exploiting" of social media misinformation by Republicans, blaming the lack of "gatekeepers" and "people with a historic perspective" to help Americans understand what they were seeing.

As Republicans and Democrats are examining the results of the November elections, including Governor-elect Glenn Youngkin’s convincing victory in Virginia, it is clear that campaigning on issues close to the heart of the American people will bring real political results in 2022 and 2024. However, the Republicans should not ignore the matters of integrity and government transparency and questions about corruption at the highest levels of U.S. politics. Jimmy Carter had his brother Billy, Colonel Muammar Qaddafi’s registered foreign agent. Similarly, Roger Clinton, Bill Clinton’s half-brother, was paid by the Gambino mafia family figure, for whom he allegedly tried to arrange a pardon, and was then himself pardoned by his half-brother

"Real Time" host Bill Maher ended his final show of the year by challenging Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., to appear on a future telecast. During his closing monologue, Maher attempted to point Democrats in the "right direction" following their devastating defeats in the November elections ahead of the 2022 midterms. He cited commentary from veteran Democratic strategist James Carville, who blamed his party's losses on "stupid wokeness," a view that Ocasio-Cortez rejected, claiming the term is "almost exclusively used by older people these days … so that should tell you all you need to know."

This is a very serious matter and I don’t know what the ultimate truth of it is, but absolutely it would go without much thinking that someone who is following the jury bus – that is an extremely serious matter and will be referred

The headlines in November for Vice President Kamala Harris have not been good. The New York Post writes: "Kamala Harris sidelined amid growing tensions with Biden, insiders say -- Vice President Kamala Harris is being increasingly alienated in the White House as her approval ratings plummet." Even liberal CNN, in an unflattering piece, recently wrote: "Exasperation and dysfunction: Inside Kamala Harris' frustrating start as vice president."

It’s incredible to think that just eleven months ago, Democrats were celebrating unified control of government for the first time in more than a decade. They had lost seats in the House but still managed to hang on to the gavel, Joe Biden had secured the White House, and two runoff elections in Georgia handed the party the slimmest of majorities in the Senate. It was a narrow victory to be sure, but they were jubilant nonetheless. Less than one year in, however, almost everyone agrees that the Democratic Party is in freefall. As a litany of crises induced by ill-advised policies sweep the country,

President Biden's massive $1.75 trillion spending bill would drop a component of the child tax credit program that could lead to billions in payouts to illegal immigrants. Tucked away on page 1,647 of the Build Back Better Act, the Democrats' social spending package, is a provision that would repeal the Social Security number requirement to obtain child tax credits. This change would expand child tax credits to parents of illegal immigrants who don't have Social Security numbers.

Joy Reid is a racist sociopath. How else to explain her reaction to Kyle Rittenhouse breaking down in the witness box during his murder trial last week? “White crocodile tears,” said the hate-mongering MSNBC prime-time anchor. This is a woman on a seven-figure salary who went to Harvard and has more elite privilege in her little finger than the 17-year-old son of a single mother who was in Kenosha working as a lifeguard when all hell broke loose in the form of BLM-Antifa riots in August 2020. Yet Reid continually plays the victim and makes her living punching down at white people less fortunate than she is.

The mood across the country is palpable. While it’s a totally unfamiliar feeling to some, it’s a feeling that many older Americans never wanted to have again. It’s dreary and uncertain, like a system of dark clouds has parked itself over the country.  I’ve been around long enough to remember the so-called misery index from the Jimmy Carter presidency during the late 1970s. At the time, the misery index was simply the rate of inflation added to the rate of unemployment. But to a country searching for its national identity and a return to peace and prosperity after the assassinations of the 1960s, Watergate and the Vietnam War, it meant

Most of the country thinks he’s incompetent, Democrats don’t want him to run again; everyone’s disappointed. We didn’t think it would be this bad this fast. Winsome Sears says voters learned where she stands as she made history campaigning to become the first Black woman elected to statewide office in Virginia. But Sears may be less known for her policy positions than for a campaign photo showing the 57-year-old former Marine posing with a military rifle. The image launched the Republican from political obscurity after a nearly 20-year absence from elected office to win the GOP’s nomination for lieutenant governor, and she completed her comeback in November as Republicans swept Virginia’s top offices. If you aren’t white, you may not be able to go way outside. At least, that appears to be the belief of a North Carolina State University professor. KangJae “Jerry” Lee — of the school’s College of Natural Resources — recognizes the racism keeping you from enjoying the great outdoors. Cultural differences, he asserts, can’t explain why there aren’t more black people fishing, hunting, and hiking. Also an insufficient excuse: income disparity. The instructor laments America’s adventure/nature gap, but he’s bulls-eyed the culprit: systemic racism. Wichita’s KAKE recently jawed it up with Jerry on the lack of outdoor equity.

This will undoubtedly come as a great shock to those who believe the mainstream media narratives where all talk of vaccine injury has been hitherto dismissed as “misinformation” by those right wing anti-vaxxers. The fact that the FBI has lost its way has been on public display for at least five years now. Truth be told, it probably strayed off course way before that. But during the Trump Presidency, it became too obvious to ignore. It has been involved in everything from the creation of an “insurance policy” against the peaceful transition of power, to the targeting of parents as domestic terrorists for the sin of disagreeing with school boards. How did our “premier law enforcement agency” stray so far from its motto of fidelity, bravery, and integrity? Simply put, the FBI’s current state is the result of horrible leadership.
