How far left have Democrats gone? So far left that even The New York Times is trying to pull them back from the cliff. A Friday editorial headlined “Democrats Deny Political Reality at Their Own Peril” sounded the alarm over Republican victories in last week’s elections. The piece included demands that Dems “return to the moderate policies and values that fueled the blue-wave victories in 2018 and won Joe Biden the presidency in 2020.” The argument is especially common these days, but coming from the Times it seemed revolutionary. Had the Gray Lady finally seen the light and was signaling its own sins,  CORRECTION*

You might disagree, but I believe that the defeat of President Trump by the senile and demented Biden was ironically what was needed to start to bring a good portion of this country back to its senses. The Democrats and their RINO allies had been "boiling the frog" just slowly enough that it wasn't ever going to jump until it died. With Brandon, they turned the heat up from a 5 to an 11. And now, the frog is finally jumping. The only question is, how high?

I'd like to agree with #1, but until we clean out the nest of traitors that the current GOP has become in CONgress, we are never going to make any headway. Look at what we have been lead by the last decade there. Boehner, McConnell, Paul Ryan, McCarthy. All disgusting go along to get along types - or directly on the pad of our enemies. Sniveling, gutless cowards that put party and their personal venality before country. Until the likes of this scum are excised from our government, we are bailing out the ocean with a teaspoon. What they did to us Friday night is just the latest in an endless parade of insults against the American citizenry. Our Founders knew how to deal with this vermin.

Return to moderate policies??? That hasn't been the case since the 80's. What gets "moderate" democrats elected is lying about their policies, beliefs and goals. And of course the old lies. "I'll work across the aisle and I am my own person". Once elected, they vote the party line. Unless the democrats have enough votes that they can afford a few nays, they they are allowed to vote nay, to save their seat. Whats different now is that with the slimist majority ever, they are pushing hard past Mao. I suspect its because at some point, they will no longer be able to cover up 2020.

Even if the Republicans take back Congress next year, the government programs they put into place will likely never die. Programs, especially entitlement programs, are almost never revoked.

Blue wave of 2018 thank a republican RINO for that also Biden didn't win an election he's nothing but a cockroach shell standing in front of a nation whom now almost a majority hates. Biden is a fraud just play acting he is president (*) along with his fake first lady wife. We are being ruled over by unelected misfit idiots at warp speed to finish off the nation for what means I'm yet to figure. I know what good times were like with energy independence, great economy, full employment, global standing and freedom with a real America loving President, Trump. It took a demented bozo along with his cadre of losers only nine months to bring us to this disaster. Don't tell me Joe Biden was elected or won anything again. FJB & Jill.

#3, I remember seeing a news report about 15 years ago where the reporter went into a black neighborhood and asked if people had photo IDs. Everyone had one and when asked about it they were insulted that anyone would think they didn’t have the ability or intelligence to acquire one. Yet the left still keeps the lie going because it’s the only way that they can keep cheating. It’s a wonder that there are any black demonrats left in this country. And it’s telling.

But always remember - - the demonrats have a secret weapon. No matter how bad things get - - no matter how dark and gloomy the political skies are - - the demonrats can always count on the Pubbies to come to their rescue. The demonrats took a brutal beating on Tuesday - - but by Friday the Pubbies bailed them out - - and gave them a huge victory. Yup - - it's great to be a demonrat - - knowing that your opponents are always on your side.

I don't believe Trump was defeated, at least not honestly. Trump had the election stolen from him by cheating, and then endorsed by his own VP, one Judas Pence. But the rest of the comment at #1 is excellent. This nation needs to wake up, and it might have done just that this past Tuesday. We actual republicans need to take over the Independent party, and ask Trump to be our party head. I seriously doubt that most of us are actually of the republican party, not with all the rot and corruption. We only stay registered as such for voting purposes. If we want a new party, we need to consider that, and let the GOPE wither away on the vine without us or our donations.

Mailers attacking Democrat Terry McAuliffe for being “on the side of abusive police officers” are popping up in Virginia voters’ mailboxes, urging support for third-party hopeful Princess Blanding — and highlighting a fierce battle for Black votes in the final days of the tight governor’s race. In interviews with POLITICO, more than a dozen top Democrats involved in the Virginia campaign — from strategists on the ground to House Majority Whip James Clyburn (D-S.C.) — expressed concern that Black support for McAuliffe is weaker and less enthusiastic than it could be in a razor-thin race in a blue-trending state. Against that backdrop, McAuliffe and Black Democratic surrogates are racing across Virginia

Now that I am seven episodes in, I feel confident saying that “Impeachment: American Crime Story,” airing Tuesday evenings on FX, is the fairest and arguably the best real-life political drama Hollywood has ever produced. What mystifies me is that no one on the Right appears to be talking about it. The third in the “American Crime Story” series, this 10-part drama faithfully tracks the perjury and obstruction of justice scandal that very nearly ended the Bill Clinton presidency. While the first two in the series -- “The People vs. O.J. Simpson” and “Versace” -- dealt candidly with the issues of race and homosexuality,
