The judge was referring to controversies over the video evidence presented by the prosecution during the trial, including whether zoomed-in images enhanced by artificial intelligence were admissible, and whether the prosecution withheld a higher resolution version of a video than the version that had been provided to the defense until the last day of the trial. The defense moved to dismiss the case on Tuesday, arguing that the prosecution had improperly withheld the evidence. The judge didn’t want to allow the enhanced video in, but did. Now it turns out that an excellent video was in the prosecution’s possession all the time, a video that showed something quite different.

Judge Schroeder has been around the block a few more times than thehis armchair critics. He has a log-time reputation for being fair. I saw nothing in this trial that would change that were it my opinion. Schroeder is trying to keep the decisions with the jury, despite the prosecution's apparent antics and the defense demand for a mistrial with prejudice. I suspect few would like to take on the responsibility this judge is currently balancing. His community is in some jeopardy either way...and everyone involved knows it.

I believe this Judge wants this young man to have his day in court. I have never seen so many legal experts declare the kid should be acquitted. Usually, they hedge their bets but my fear is that intimidation will rule the day and the jury will cave to the thugs. Then I hope the Judge will step in and not allow an innocent kid be sent to prison. We are watching our entire system of justice collapse right before us if the verdict is guilty because the jurors fear the mob. If that happens, it is a clear indication that the mob has the power to direct verdicts and that is a country in which we do not wish to live. There is a lot more at stake here than a trial. Our entire system hangs in the balance. I pray this jury has the courage to do the right thing, then it’s law enforcement’s job to keep the peace. I won’t hold my breath.

Judge Schroeder does NOT make "big bucks." He could have made huge bucks as a criminal defense attorney. I suspect: 1. One juror (an unreasonable "nut") is gumming up the works BIG TIME! 2. Many jurors have told this single juror that they will absolutely NOT convict on any of the 5 counts. 3. Unless this nut juror eventually agrees to aquittal on all 5 counts there will be a hung jury. 4. The prosecution purposely withheld the high resolution video from the defense attorneys, which was evident based on the in court assertions of the white haired lady employee, who has witnessed past unethical behaviors of these prosecutors. She flat-out asserted that the filibustering (spinning like a top) prosecutor was lying.

I believe the Judge erred big time for not declaring the mistrial with prejudice; moreover, the should have arrested the DA for contempt of Court and recommended to the Bar Assoc. that this DA be disbarred.

I think it is best for America, and the civilized world, that the trial concludes with the jury completing it's task, and returns a "not guilty" on all counts, thus retaining some shreds of decency for the justice system. We also have to think of this young hero's future and the other remedies discussed will have to be resorted to if the jury goes RINO. He must not serve a day in jail. I think the judge is a patriot.

"The results from Tuesday’s election continue to come in, for instance there were 12,000 ballots recently found in one county," Sweeney said in an email to the Philadelphia Inquirer on Thursday. "While I am currently trailing in the race, we want to make sure every vote is counted. Our voters deserve that, and we will wait for the final results."

How far left have Democrats gone? So far left that even The New York Times is trying to pull them back from the cliff. A Friday editorial headlined “Democrats Deny Political Reality at Their Own Peril” sounded the alarm over Republican victories in last week’s elections. The piece included demands that Dems “return to the moderate policies and values that fueled the blue-wave victories in 2018 and won Joe Biden the presidency in 2020.” The argument is especially common these days, but coming from the Times it seemed revolutionary. Now that I am seven episodes in, I feel confident saying that “Impeachment: American Crime Story,” airing Tuesday evenings on FX, is the fairest and arguably the best real-life political drama Hollywood has ever produced. What mystifies me is that no one on the Right appears to be talking about it. The third in the “American Crime Story” series, this 10-part drama faithfully tracks the perjury and obstruction of justice scandal that very nearly ended the Bill Clinton presidency. While the first two in the series -- “The People vs. O.J. Simpson” and “Versace” -- dealt candidly with the issues of race and homosexuality,
