CNN’s Brian Stelter had a request for the world’s largest news organization: “Can you call out GOP extremism?” And The Associated Press’ leader said that as the nation moves closer to the 2022 midterm elections, her news organization would hyperfocus on the 2020 election and its aftermath.Stelter asked Julie Pace, executive editor and senior vice president of The Associated Press, to name the biggest stories of the year “beyond the pandemic, if that’s possible.” Pace immediately said the biggest story of 2021 was “the January 6th insurrection.”“As we push into 2022 and beyond, I think that’s something you’re going to see us really focus on,” said Pace

Oh goody. The AP has figured out a way to go back to the past. I was thinner then. Too bad CNN had already been invented or perverted, whichever way you see it.

There was an insurrection? When? Who took up arms? Did they riot in the streets for months, throw Molotov cocktails, set buildings on fire, shoot unarmed people dead in the streets, attack cops with bricks, and then loot a bunch of stores for good measure on their off days?

It is comic tragedy to see and hear someone demonstrate so very publicly their need for a brain. Or maybe we should just view Stelter as a sort of modern day court jester.

A lot of small newspapers consist mostly of AP and USA Today articles. Leftist, mis, and disinformation. Unworthy.

Potato Head can't help himself. He is on life support at CNN. He's a lead, the mineral, anchor on CNN, and doesn't want to go down with the ship. Where else could he go? MSNBC? Maybe to a remote TV station in Zanzibar.

Like the Russia/Trump lie that wouldn’t die, until it did… They are using the same tactics with Democratic “investigations” fodder for more news coverage being used to get more investigations into something that ultimately THEY did wrong. Didn’t work with denying the virus origins, won’t work now.

And not a peep about the Afghanistan debacle, inflation, illegal immigration, rising crime rate or Covid testing problems assured.

More extremist Democrat projection from Mr. Potato Man. The Associated Press ruined their brand decades ago with tendentious reporting that has morphed into pure falsehood (for instance, the Trump Russia Russia Russia narrative). About 90% of the corporate media have earned professional extinction because they are mere scribes for the Democrats. Let them all wither on the vine. No noble rot--just rot.

I think it is not needed to enhance the Associated Press propaganda output regarding its hatred of all things holy.

CNN sold their corporate soul to Saddam back during the Clinton era for the chance to stay in Iraq and be his mouth piece. CNN is a foul piece of sewage, and I wish the new owner would hustle up and shake the employee tree. Plenty to shake loose and put in the unemployment line. Especially the head sewage rat named Zucker.

Considering Stelter likely sees Joe Manchin's positions as extremism, it's a pretty board term and brush from him.
As far as the AP, they'd do well to truly investigate what's been happening in relation to Jan 6th. They could start with why hundreds are being held without any representation, and having their civil rights violated. The people in Gitmo are being treated more humanely, it seems.
Also, not one, person has been charged with insurrection, they might want to investigate why.
Or, are we getting that big announcement on January 3, 4th or 5th?
