Was This the Moment People Lost Trust
in the Medical Establishment?

As the Biden administration continues to fumble its response to the latest wave of the Wuhan coronavirus pandemic, threats of additional restrictions are looming. Last night, President Joe Biden told reporters he would implement a vaccine requirement for domestic flights if his medical team recommended it. Earlier this week, Dr. Anthony Fauci did just that. (Tweet/Video) The main problem, in addition to unconstitutional decrees issued by public health officials, is Americans have lost faith in the medical establishment to be honest and follow the science when issuing recommendations.
It is for me.
I always get the flu shot and need the pneumonia shot.
I've been reluctant to go due to the rampant stories of people getting the wrong shot -- plus I'm not sure I trust what they put in it, anymore.

Let's be clear the virus by any name is totally political now. Biden is not a president and Fauci is not a real scientist they are both 'frauds' being the reason I wouldn't take medical advice from either. Let's go Brandon.

I lost trust in the Medical Establishment when I first heard about "gender reassignment surgery." Talk about human experimentation. When the patient needs a shrink, they give them surgery. Cosmetic surgery is also way off the rails with all the implant (butt, thigh, cheek, not to mention breast).
Too often, the medical establishment is out to make money, not do the right thing for the patient.
As an aside: What drives up the cost of health care? Insurance. Why is insurance necessary? Because the cost of health care is so high. It's a spiraling feedback loop that leads to extortionary pricing for those who can pay (its free to those who cannot).

I lost trust in the medical establishment about 2 months in to this fiasco. You don't quarantine the healthy and the government has no right to meddle in our medical decisions. Everyone's physiology is different and one size does not fit all. Period!

The medical establishment has always been crooked. Now it is even more crooked. Medicare controls the hospitals and the doctors, and they do what they are told, or lose medicare funding. The drug companies buy the politicians, which control who leads HHS. It's all a lie, and there is a lot of money in those lies for them. Not much related to your health problems, which will only be addressed, if ever, after all the screenings and related fundings are fully drained. People are delaying doctor appointments because of Covid protocols and absence of service. Doctors are retiring early, nurses are quitting, hours are restricted, services have been reduced. It is a fiasco. 1-10, the medical system has gone from a 6 to a 1. If you are unvaccinated, you are more likely to be attacked than provided service.

Many people get educated fast if they ever need cancer treatment. The business of cancer treatment is huge and digging into the lying “success” stats of expensive treatments is an eye opener. Oncologists know. They are on the treadmill too, unfortunately.

I lost trust a few years ago when a doctor prescribed a stomach medicine which wreaked havoc on my bone density. (I’m a 69 year old woman). When I called him on it, he shrugged.
Since then I’ve been using a massage therapist, an acupuncturist and a homeopathic medical practice. My insurance doesn’t cover any of it but I don’t care because it works and is a lot less expensive than the alternative.

I started to lose trust in the medical professional in 1969. That's when I found out a doctor, who the previous year told me not to worry about a lump in my leg, 'it's just a cyst', turned out to be a pretty aggressive malignant tumor. And then in 1970 when my 2yr. old daughter fell and I knew she had broken a bone in her arm. The doctor didn't think so and made us wait in the waiting room for over 3 hours until he had time to look at the x-rays and sure enough, her arm was broken. The world doesn't come to an end when you yell at a doctor.

Yup. It was the stark double-standard applied to group activities of differing political / cultural affiliation that made me suspect the basis of public statements and policy was political, not medical.
But what made me lose faith in the medical establishment was more personal, when the GP who had earned my confidence through 30 years of trustworthy treatment looked me straight in the eye and told me the reason 2020 had no flu deaths was that we wore masks. I didn't bother telling him that I had read the CDC's spring 2020 directions (from their own website) for doctors to name covid-19 as cause of death in cases where the deceased only showed flu-like symptoms, even if they tested negative for covid-19.
