Kids and teens banned from visiting this
N.J. mall after Christmas without an adult

The Cherry Hill Mall is continuing a holiday tradition this year with a restriction on unaccompanied juveniles on Dec. 26, typically one of the busiest days of the year. Heather Crowell, an executive vice president of PREIT, which also owns the Moorestown and Cumberland malls in New Jersey, and Fashion District Mall in Center City, Philadelphia, said Wednesday the restrictions would be in place again this year.(Snip)Three years ago, up to 1,000 youths, mostly teens, were in the middle of melees that closed the mall around midday the day after Christmas. Some shoppers were stuck inside of stores after workers locked doors and grates as chaos ensued before police

Comments:

How shameful that in this age of Diversity, Inclusion, and Equity that a mall would prevent youths and teens from performing The Kwanzaa Challenge on premises.

Cherry Hill Mall - I know it well, tho when I lived in Joisey I usually did my shopping at Moorestown Mall.. Rather upscale, but unfortunately it's the closest major mall to the Camden hoods, which would explain why da chillun be rampaging there.

Teens? Sure. Dream on. There will come a point where all businesses will have to have steel shutters and armed security. Thank God I live far away from this insanity.

I used to live near the Cherry Hill Mall also. Cherry Hill is a richer community. It's a larger than average mall. Camden is nearby along with a few other scabby neighborhoods.

So much for freedom. Why were teens banned? Because they're feral animals or is it just the black ones?

KC has a fairly nice shopping district called "The Plaza" with high end stores over several blocks, not an indoor mall. But this sort of 'black teens running wild and fighting' stuff happened a couple of years ago, and finally there had to be a curfew for teens. Black families were dropping off their kids there on Friday or Saturday nights to entertain themselves. And it led to fights and all sorts of problems. And roving crowds of black teens is NOT good for business at your fancy clothing, shoes, etc stores, either. It was scaring off paying customers, even if they were't fighting.

President Biden won the White House on a pledge to crush the coronavirus through a commitment to science, testing for anyone who wants it, and a major vaccine sprint in his first 100 days in office. Things haven’t quite gone as planned. More than a year into the vaccine drive, and nearly 12 months since Mr. Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris memorialized 400,000 COVID-19 deaths on the eve of the inauguration, the U.S. is mourning another 400,000 lives lost to the disease and now battling another winter surge in the virus. Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo is backing up a Jewish congressman’s incendiary claim that he heard protesters scream “Jew!” at him during a September event in New Jersey. Garden State Democratic Rep. Josh Gottheimer caused a stir during a Dec. 13 speech at Rutgers University in which he said he was set upon by anti-Semitic protesters on Sept. 20 as he and Raimondo made a series of stops in Bergen County promoting President Joe Biden’s infrastructure bill. The pair were greeted by around 100 hecklers in Glen Rock—most of whom, Gottheimer claimed, came from the local chapter of the Working Families Party. The situation was intense enough

The USS Milwaukee has delayed its deployment to South America after sailors tested positive for COVID-19 on board. The Navy combat ship, which left Mayport, Fla., on Dec. 14, will remain docked at Naval Station Guantanamo Bay, where it stopped for a scheduled port visit. The Navy did not specify how many sailors have tested positive, but said only some of those are showing mild symptoms. All have been isolated from the healthy crew. The Milwaukee’s crew is “100% immunized,” officials said. “The ship is following an aggressive mitigation strategy in accordance with the Navy and CDC guidelines,” the Navy said in a statement Friday.
