The events of the past five or six years have demonstrated to America that the FBI is no longer the unbiased law enforcement agency it once was. (snip) There are only two options: rehabilitate the FBI, or eliminate it. The current state is unacceptable in a functioning constitutional republic.(snip) The DoJ has not only failed to provide course correction to the FBI, it has arguably contributed to the problems. The rebuilding of the FBI should be overseen by a board chartered with the mission of rehabilitation, and staffed with people who care about integrity and understand what a well-functioning police organization should look like.

Santa Claus is too white, too straight and too male for most young people in the UK today, according to a poll. The modern depiction of Father Christmas as an old white man with a big bushy beard who wears a red and white suit was made globally famous by Coca Cola’s adverts of the 1930s. A survey by YouGov has now found that 60 per cent of 18–24-year-olds in the UK think it is ‘acceptable’ for Santa to be gay. But 41 per cent across all age groups said it was not OK, including 17 per cent of lesbian, gay and bisexual respondents.

Leftism is driven by committee advice; it’s how the echo-chambering communal groupthink works. After the White House COVID “Winter of Death” messaging was ridiculed and ignored by almost everyone in the general public, the communications team quickly went back to the drawing board. You can almost hear Ron Klain instructing the team to find ways to avoid the ‘Grinch team‘ labeling. However, the ordinary emotional disposition of leftists and Democrats, writ large, is depressing, angry and negative, the result from a lifetime of blame casting.

Rasmussen Reports recently conducted a nationwide survey with questions on vaccinated immunity and natural immunity after a recommendation by Becker News. “I wonder if you polled Democratic (and R, I) voters, how many would call Natural Immunity a myth?” I asked. “How many would say it is false you can get Natural Immunity from a Prior Infection?”
Rasmussen Reports was benevolent enough to ask these timely questions in a survey and release the crosstabs to Becker News before official publication. The results? Fascinating.

Millions of us are experiencing a terrible void in the absence of Rush Limbaugh this Christmas. Charles Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol” contains a character soliciting charitable donations, who reminds Scrooge that “want and grief are both felt keenly during this festive season.” Though critics (most of whom never listened to him) will never understand, Rush Limbaugh was undeniably loved by so many of us. As we celebrate what may be the last shared American tradition, Christmas, Rush’s absence is palpably felt — his voice is being missed.

Many churches across the U.S. are canceling some or all in-person Christmas services amid yet another surge in COVID cases that have put a damper on people’s holidays for a second year.
Among those churches were Washington National Cathedral in the nation's capital; St. John the Divine, the cathedral of the Episcopal Diocese of New York; and the historic Old South Church in Boston.(Snip)Other churches are planning outdoor services or proposed a hybrid of online and in-person worship, often imposing tight restrictions for those in attendance. These included requirements to wear masks and show proof of COVID-19 vaccinations.

I regret to inform you that Joe Biden is stumping for tyranny again. But before we get to the president, let’s engage in a thought experiment.Imagine a world in which Republicans control all three branches of the government, and in this world, there’s a national election coming. Further, the Republicans are heavily favored to lose. Now, imagine that the GOP then spit on centuries of precedent and introduced a federal takeover of the voting system in order to try to rig that election. Lastly, when they failed to pass it via traditional legislative means, they then moved to change the rules of the Senate in order to pass it anyway.

The husband of Democrat Illinois State Senator Kimberly Lightford fired shots with his legal gun as she was being carjacked this week, according to reports.
The hijackers also shot at her husband, Eric McKennie, as they stole Lightford’s Mercedes-Benz SUV on Tuesday evening. "IIt was a lot of shots being fired. I think they were shooting at my husband and me and luckily enough my husband is concealed and carry and he was able to protect us,” Lightford told ABC 7.

The Environmental Protection Agency announced Monday that all new cars that aren’t electric must average 55 miles per gallon by 2026.
This amounts to a Great Leap Forward of almost 20 miles per gallon from the currently ordered 36 miles per gallon that all new cars must achieve, else their manufacturers be punished for making them via “gas guzzler” fines applied to them.
Which are then passed on to the people who buy them. Which makes it progressively more difficult to afford them.
That being the point of the fines, you understand.
The Biden administration considers it their right and duty to punish you for buying the car you want

During his marathon annual year-end press conference Q&A, which this year lasted about four hours, Russian President Vladimir Putin once again vowed to defend Russian society against the intrusion of the corrupted values of the West, in particular blasting the “gender obscurantism” pushed by the United States and Europe.
“I am a proponent of the traditional approach that a woman is a woman and a man is a man,” Putin laid out, which it goes without saying also reflects basic Biology 101 and humans’ self-understanding for thousands upon thousands of years. He continued in the remarks on gender: “A mother is a mother, a father is a father. And I hope

President Trump gave an interview to Candace Owens for The Daily Wire. The full interview is only available for subscribers; however, there is a segment released by Mrs. Owens where Donald Trump talks about the specifics of his position on the vaccine and the mandates. (snip) …the issue of the vaccines overall, and the mandate specifically, President Trump’s position seems quite pragmatic and reasonable. He’s proud to have developed the vaccines, believes they are of benefit, but strongly respects individual choice, liberty and the freedom to decide for yourself and your family. I don’t see anything controversial in this position.
Comments:
How well do the shots not work? It's inexplicable, given that there are no unvaccinated/unboosted people around, who our previous president says are responsible for the ongoing pandemic.
