Boston's Emerson College has instructed students living in halls of residence on campus to stay in their rooms apart from eating, collecting mail or to get tested for covid-19. The new rules come into force on January 3rd and apply to all students even if they have been fully vaccinated including receiving their booster shots. The college hopes that the 'stay in room directive' will help curb the spread of the omicron variant of the coronavirus. The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office in Virginia has confirmed to multiple outlets that Washington Football Team defensive back and special teamer Deshazor Everett was the driver in a fatal car accident Thursday night.
