A previously unseen Oct. 2020 email from Dr. Francis Collins, the outgoing head of the National Institutes of Health (NIH), to his colleague Dr. Anthony Fauci is raising concerns about government-sponsored suppression of free speech—a direct violation of the 1st Amendment. The email, which appears in a footnote of a Dec. 17 year-end staff report from House Democrats, shows the behind-the-scenes efforts from Collins and Fauci, who were pushing a fresh round of lockdowns, to discredit the Great Barrington Declaration and disparage its authors. The Great Barrington Declaration was an Oct. 2020 letter that ran counter to the efforts of Fauci and Collins by declaring a unified opposition to broad-based lockdowns,

Comments:

The Great Barrington Declaration was signed by many doctors. Collins and Fauci intended to cancel those who signed it. We don’t hear enough about what a bad guy Collins is...

Until Anthony "Frankenstein" Fauci is immediately arrested for his lies to Congress and while appearing on countless TV shows, he will continue on his path of mayhem and destruction. He is a threat to the well-being of others. He needs to be held accountable for the crisis that he has created.

imo one interpretation of the Email exchange is Collins is asking Fauci whether he HAS an answer, though he phrases it in this supportive looking way, and that Fauci fails to answer back with anything. it is a wording which could mean, "you had better have a good answer, I am 100% on your side for the next minute and a half while i await your answer." and Fauci did not actually have one.

Collins is the one who picked up his guitar at his retirement ceremony and sang a stupid song about masks and shots, as though the whole thing was a cultural joke. How much are we paying this squirrel in pension for the rest of his life?

Is the Bidet administration aware of how much damage this so called 'dr.'' keeps doing to them??? Amazing that they are too stupid to realize this. Any thinking bunch of clowns would have long ago noticed it. And a moron like the first vegetable should have fired and replaced a lot of people if only to look semi competent. But, as the former community punk would state, 'there is nothing Bidet does not f@@k up!". Spot on, sums this jerk up 24/7!!!

The wait is over. Almost two full weeks after the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge released their knee-heavy Middle Eastern-themed Christmas card, the Sussexes have finally settled on their stoop and published their own end-of-year tableau of domestic bliss. And it’s truly very nice, if you like that sort of thing. What a year it’s been for Britain’s unofficial ambassadors to Santa Barbara. An annus dramaticus, if that’s a word, which it is not. The Sussexes’ 2021 started with a declaration that they will not be returning as working royals and would instead prefer a quiet life in California – a pledge they instantly underscored by conducting an exclusive, marmalade-dropping interview

A large part of this issue of The New Criterion is devoted to a debate over the merits and limitations of what, for lack of a better term, has come to be called “common-good conservatism.” I say “for lack of a better term” because the phrase does seem to load the dice. Surely any plausible alternative to “common-good conservatism” would also seek to foster the common good. The occasion for the debate is the essay printed below by Kim R. Holmes, a prolific author and for many years a senior official at The Heritage Foundation in Washington, D.C. Holmes describes and criticizes two strands of this new(ish) conservative impulse.

I spent several hours with him this morning and he is feeling great,” she said. He’s supposed to get another test tomorrow. Credit President Joe Biden with not hitting the panic button in his speech on the Omicron wave — but that’s about it. The prez rightly noted this isn’t March 2020, and no new lockdowns should be necessary. But that was the closest he came to anything original. And it serves his interests: Declaring a new crisis would highlight how badly he’s failed on his 2020 vow to “shut down the virus.” It’s now clear that he thought then that all he’d need to do was continue distributing the vaccines developed before he took office, that’s it. (Hence his declaration in July that we’d achieved “independence from COVID-19” because vaccinations were going well.)

Flying cars are still the stuff of Jetsonian dreams, but self-driving cars are already here. But these semi-autonomous vehicles come with a host of issues. For instance, they must be able to deal with the erratic driving behaviors of humans, as well as unexpected obstacles on the road, such as a wild deer crossing the highway. But a critical though lesser discussed problem associated with self-driving cars involves surveillance. These vehicles look likely to be used as surveillance tools, closely monitoring our every move. Worse still, China, a country that has expanded mass surveillance and integrated it into every part of Chinese life, is leading the self-driving revolution.

Although it is an off-label use and not guaranteed to work every time, it is legal for doctors to prescribe Ivermectin for COVID-19, and many patients, some desperate and dying, want to give it a try.
