OJ Simpson has been cleared — at least as far as his parole board is concerned. The onetime gridiron great — convicted of armed robbery after his famous 1995 acquittal for the murder of estranged wife Nicole Brown Simpson — has been granted early release from parole over the 2007 heist in Las Vegas.“Mr. Simpson is a completely free man now,” his Nevada lawyer, Malcolm LaVergne, told the Associated Press on Tuesday.Simpson, 74, was convicted in October 2008 for leading five men, two of them armed, into a Las Vegas casino hotel a year earlier to confront two sports collectible dealers.

I think his actual payment for murder won’t be until the afterlife. However, he has fallen a long long way from being a beloved sports hero to being that guy who got away with murder. Alec Baldwin on the other hand probably won’t even be charged criminally. He will definitely get away with murder. He will also get to pay in the afterlife, but like OJ he’s in for an extremely long fall. Karma is about to open an extra large can of wood-**s on Alec.

New York Times columnist Bret Stephens wrote in a column on Tuesday that President Joe Biden should not seek reelection in 2024. In a piece entitled, “Biden Should Not Run Again — and He Should Say He Won’t,” Stephens also called the president “alarmingly incoherent.” For an author at The New York Times to beg Biden to step aside so other Democrats can prepare for the next presidential contest, is, to say the least, unprecedented. It must also be unnerving for Democrats.

It has not been a good couple of days for Democrats. Two days ago, the 5th Circuit delivered a stunning rebuke of the Biden administration, denying their appeal of Trump’s “Remain in Mexico” policy. Yesterday, Adam Schiff got caught doctoring text messages during a January 6th committee hearing. Then today, the thermonuclear bomb went off. Joe Biden’s “Build Back Better” agenda was officially shelved after an agreement with Joe Manchin couldn’t be reached. On that note, my prediction that Manchin would stall things out into next year proved correct, and I still believe his ultimate goal is to kill it entirely in the softest way possible.

The Federalist’s Sean Davis first reported Wednesday morning that Schiff had manipulated the text message, cutting out the full context and adding punctuation into it, which he falsely implied was authored by a Republican lawmaker. As Breitbart News summarized:

Rep. (The full House voted to hold Meadows in contempt on Tuesday and referred him to the Department of Justice for prosecution.)

For that reason, I take particular delight in noting that Steven Spielberg's remake of WSS may have enthralled critics, but no one is rushing to see it. And no wonder, given that it's so darn woke that parts of it are in a language most Americans don't speak, but Spielberg refused to include subtitles. Let me quickly get through my biases. I hate Steven Spielberg movies because I find them overblown, predictable, and incredibly boring. I also dislike the way he presents children.
