Hillary 2024? Given the competition, she

There may be a rematch coming in the 2024 race for the White House. But we're not talking (God help us) Biden-Trump II. Instead, 2016 Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton is an interesting prospect to consider when looking for a viable candidate, particularly if an 80-something President Biden decides not to seek a second term. And why would he? Just 22 percent of voters want him to seek a second term, according to a I&I-TIPP poll. It doesn't get much better when polling only Democrats, where just 36 percent want to see the president run again, with that juggernaut candidate named "someone else" coming in first with 44 percent support.

I guess she thinks that the Dems have honed their cheating and fraud to such a level that now even she can win a presidential election. Given the cheating and fraud that put Biden in the WH and the complete lack of interest and integrity in the DoJ, FBI and many Republicans in looking into the 2020 fraud, she might have a point.

Shrillary muscled her way onto the ticket in 2016 buy claiming to be invincible. Then Trump demonstrated that she was not. Now eight years out of power, I don't think the Clintoons could muster the effort it would take to sell clearly damaged goods. But I do agree that this latest schtick with her "victory speech," while pathetic to everyone else, signals that she still thinks she's a contender. The Dims love new faces. I expect that the Obama-fronted machine will come up with some "rising star" currently off the radar, who will charm the party and promise the moon. They'd fall for "Yes We Can" all over again.

I am thinking that The HildeBeast's machine was behind much of the 'dirtying up' of NY Gov. Cuomo over the last few months. Not that Cuomo is any good, but he's got name recognition and could probably beat The HildeBeast in the Democ'RAT primaries. So... give him the tried-and-true 'sex abuser' treatment that the Media loves to go along with, usually used on Republicans. Do whatever is needed to get him Out of the Way. That much was pretty obvious even to me, all the way down here in south Mississippi. But to 'clear the road' for who? The HildeBeast? Ugh! I figured that the 'Rats would have some new face to push, one that would fit their 'Diversity Profile'. Instead we get the same Old, Crooked 'White Devils'. Man, the 'Rats sure seem to be out of ideas!

Oops, he did it again. After leaking fake Donald Trump, Jr. emails, fabricating the transcript of a 2019 phone call between former President Donald Trump and Ukraine’s president, and lying about his interactions with the so-called whistleblower behind House Democrats’ first impeachment of Trump, Rep. Adam Schiff, D-Calif., is now running the same con against a fellow lawmaker. During a hearing Monday night on the riot at the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, Adam Schiff claimed to have proof that a member of Congress texted former White House chief of staff Mark Meadows to instruct former Vice President Mike Pence to overturn the 2020 presidential election results.

A new poll from Quinnipiac Polling Group indicates that incumbent Governor Greg Abbott is well on his way to victory in the 2022 midterm elections. The survey of 1,224 registered voters found Abbott has opened a 53 percent to 37 percent lead, a whopping 15 point margin in the early going. Beto’s poor early numbers suggest the “purple Texas” narrative is under threat of collapse. The Biden border catastrophe, Beto’s insufferable Austin tech-bro liberalism, and collapsing support among Hispanic voters threaten humiliation for Texas Democrats. The Democratic weakness in Texas may come as a surprise to Republicans who watched with horror as Beto threatened to lead a successful progressive insurgency

Everyone’s understandably focused today on how Cheney embarrassed Trump Jr and the Fox News gang by reading their texts to Trump on January 6. Ed has a nice write-up about it here. But don’t miss the forest for the trees. The point Cheney was making isn’t that Fox News hosts are hypocrites, although they are. The point is that the president’s own family and allies were pleading with him while the riot was unfolding to do something, yet he did nothing — for hours. Everyone around him treated it like an emergency. Not him. Was that a crime? Watch the end of this clip, starting at around 3:00.

As has been clear for some time now, the fortunes of Joe Biden’s Build Back Better legislation and the state of the US economy are inextricably linked. With every bit of economic bad news, such as the worse-in-40-years inflation figures announced on Friday, the chances of the president securing 50 votes for his monster spending bill seem to fade. Today, Biden will meet Joe Manchin and try to win the West Virginia holdout round. But one suspects nothing the president says to Manchin would be as persuasive as some good economic news — in particular, an easing of the price rises that Manchin has long said are a major reason

A U.S. district court in Georgia became the fourth court to enjoin a Biden administration vaccine mandate this week. As with the other trial and appellate courts, District Judge R. In the meantime, outgoing New York Mayor Bill de Blasio has ordered all private workers to be vaccinated. All of these mandates are on course for a showdown in the Supreme Court, where three justices have already expressed skepticism over the mandates.
