In the aftermath of the “insurrection” of January 6, 2021, American companies governed by woke executives and boards fairly fell over one another to appease the left. In a flurry of virtue signaling rarely seen, company after company declared that they would no longer contribute to the campaign funds of anyone who voted against certifying the 2020 election results. Mind you, senators and congressmen and -women have a Constitutional right to object for any reason or no reason at all. In fact, since the 2000 election, Democrats have objected to the Electoral college vote in three elections. Let the record show that since 2000,

They are a lot like politicians in that they see which way the crowd is going, run out in front and pretend they are leading. I expect to see plenty of rinos "evolving" in the near future and asking our forgiveness for their treason.
Businesses should peddle their wares and not be donating to anyone.

Reply 1 reminded me of this: “Liberals need producers (conservatives) to sustain their unproductive ideology, conservatives do not need liberals, ever!”

Not shocking ... Big Business and RINOs see the Big Red Wave coming in Nov 2022 and want to be counted among the winners when the policies of the Xiden/Obama regime are rolled back by the next Congress. Couple that with the very likely possibility that KamalToe 'Cackles' Harris will be sitting at the Resolute Desk spending her days being scared shiite-less that Nancy or Hillary are going to arrange her 'suicide'. Yeah, far better for BB and the RINOs to start the transition to Republican support now. I also expect to see the FacePlant, Twitts, etc 'platforms' to soften their anti-conservative rhetoric and targeted curtailment of conservative opinion. They probably already see their 'Section 230' protections going away when the Congressional majority changes.

"Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other." - John Adams. Truer words were never spoken, except maybe for Obama's: 'Don't underestimate Biden's ability to f**k things up.'

Once TV commercials reflect the true population percentage of race, ethnicity and gender of actors, I will believe them. It has become a visible reflection of how companies became woke.

Reply #8 I agree with you on the lack of diversity in commercials. But I am also relieved that many chronic diseases will pass my family by as the maintenance prescription drugs TV advertisements do not include our demographic.

Most of the AA commercials are stupid and ridiculous and the corporations know it. The racist stereotype of obese black women dancing around so hard that all their loose parts jiggle doesn't entice anybody but nearly every ad includes that. They do nothing except make you not want to buy the product. Teenage girls driving a Mercedes or a Subaru. Golf schools recruiting black kids, tuition free of course. How many black players do you see on the PGA or the LPGA? Tiger was it. You might see OJ on a course somewhere in Southern Florida because that's where the real killer lives.
My boycotts stand firm until there are sincere apologies and some will never again sell me anything.

I am hoping this means that these woke company executives and board members are waking up to the fact Biden and Democrat policies are an economic disaster. Knee jerk “virtue signaling” in response to MSM propaganda promotes the the wave of violence and crime that has been getting worse in cities and states controlled by Democrats. Surprise, surprise, this is bad for business.

Go to bed with a money whore, wake up with a money whore. And China will also be shocked and hurt when the stateless, treacherous, loyalty-free multinational companies they are currently in league with against America drop China like a bad habit as soon as they get a BETTER deal with India.

" It is increasingly apparent that sane people don’t consider January 6 an “insurrection,” and they don’t care about the silly little “commission” pretending to investigate that event."
Ask out-going Virginia Attorney General Mark Herring how much people care about January 6. In his bid for a third term, the main focal point of Herring;s campaign against his GOP opponent Jason Miyares was January 6. Miyares will be sworn in as Virginia's new Attorney General on January 2

Speaking as a woman who ran a company and met a payroll...I can tell you...the backlash from American citizens to these companies showed up on their monthly nut figures...take coke and Pepsi for example...their commercials are all over the tv...almost pleading for customers...WE moved to Dr. Pepper...and it warms my heart to see shelves filled with coke and Pepsi..and Dr. Pepper flying off the shelves...I continue to support My Pillow products made in the USA...and didn't buy LLBean products for family this Christmas ...made in foreign countries...probably china....

Wally World switched to many Indian products early on in the pandemic and are overall selling better quality clothing and other various goods. China is already feeling the backlash and better take over Taiwan and other desired Pacific locales while they still have an army and navy. India is a huge country full of very smart people and never causes anybody trouble. Why is that?

The thing is once a customer turns against a certain brand, they do not always come back. So all the wokey companies should just rely on their wokey customers to buy their products and direct all their commercials toward promoting wokeness. (More of us than there are of them, though.) I stopped buying a particular brand of cheese once - don't even remember why - pro-abortion or something - and have never bought that product again.
