Vice President of the Lower Austrian Medical Association Gerrit Loibl has suggested that the government should levy a monthly fine of up to €100 to anyone unvaccinated. Loibl has suggested that those who have not been vaccinated should pay between €90 and €100 (£78-£84/$90-$113) per month to the government, claiming that the amount is based on the current tax on tobacco products. The proposed monthly fines would be part of Austria’s already announced vaccine mandate for all residents that is scheduled to begin in February of next year. Medical law expert Karl Stöger was critical of the proposal, however

How about a fine on politicians who waste taxpayer money? The fine would be equal to the amount of money wasted.

Many months ago, I wrote an article entitled “We Don’t Have a President.” That was in response to Joe Biden disappearing for several days, while Israel entered into another war with the Palestinians and a cyberattack took down a major pipeline in the United States. Those concerns seem quaint now, given the disaster in Afghanistan and the escalation of a series of domestic issues that followed, from high inflation to the supply chain crisis. Of course, the response to COVID-19 has been no better, and another confused measure was taken yesterday in response to the newest variant scare. Initially, Dr. Anthony Fauci signaled that a travel ban was not necessary,

Last week, in the community of Brandon, Florida, Governor Ron De Santis summarized the vision of governance that should be the model for all aspiring and current conservative lawmakers. (A full transcript can be seen here and the quote in question comes around the 39:00 mark.) When asked why he stepped in to prevent Florida localities from enacting mask mandates or the federal government from enforcing vaccine mandates, the reply was concisely precise: “You don’t have the right to do wrong.” Bingo.

We’ve seen all kinds of efforts on the part of the Biden team to cover up for Joe Biden’s issues and incoherence. They’ve done all they could to try to rush people out of the White House events, rudely yelling and basically pushing them out of the room, even cutting off UK PM Boris Johnson in the process. But it’s not as easy now that Biden is in the White House as it was during the campaign when they could hide him in the basement. As my colleague Sister Toldjah explained, they even scrapped the traditional “Three Amigos” press conference with Canadian and Mexican heads of state.

Let’s start at the beginning of the larger story. Turkish-American Boston Celtics center Enes Kanter has been waging virtually a one-player protest, in a league of cowards and hypocrites, against the NBA, Nike, and pretty much all of sports media for continuing “business as usual” with China, as the ChiComs continue their brutal oppression of Uyghur Muslims.

The surprise victory of Republican Glenn Youngkin to become the next governor of Virginia shocked the political world earlier this month. Down double digits just months prior, Youngkin surged back into the race in the final weeks, eventually defeating heavily favored Democrat Terry McAuliffe. Youngkin didn’t make his comeback by prioritizing the normal slate of GOP issues. Rather, he focused like a laser beam on the culture war surrounding leftwing school boards and the harm they are causing to children. That strategy led to big shifts in Loudoun County and other bluish, suburban areas, with the assumption being that Youngkin was a different kind of Republican.

Now, before you lose your mind over the title and the thought of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) at a swinger’s bar, let me explain. The name of the bar that she was at was Swingers. The reason they call it Swingers is because, in addition to fancy cocktails and high-end street food, they have an adults-only mini-golf course or “crazy golf club,” as they call themselves. On the course, you are encouraged to drink, so Pelosi should fit right in. Pelosi was at the bar with her arm around Rep. Yvette Clarke (D-NY), neither were wearing masks despite the city mandate to wear masks indoors

As if the backlog of processing illegal migrants isn’t jammed up enough due to the sheer number of them, the latest twist is that some countries refuse to take back their citizens. The countries that the largest number of migrants are coming from are Venezuela and Nicaragua. Venezuela is where the largest number of migrants comes from now, exceeding the number of Mexicans coming across the border. Axios has a report that 800 Venezuelan migrants have crossed the border illegally every day for the last two weeks. This squares with reports from last summer about the growing problem of Venezuelans fleeing that country

The late brilliant columnist, author, and Fox News personality Charles Krauthammer observed in a 2002 column: “Conservatives think liberals are stupid. Liberals think conservatives are evil.” While I don’t disagree with Dr. Krauthammer, I do want to offer a variation: Liberals are terrified of conservatives. Specifically, liberals are terrified of conservatives they view as a threat. Conservatives in positions of power, conservatives with a microphone and a substantive base that listens; conservatives who threaten the liberal narrative by telling America the truth, and even more threatening, exposing liberal lies. Hillary Clinton is emerging from the shadows and pimping censorship as the solution to the Democrats’ ills. All this is taking place just as talk builds of Kamala Harris’s disastrous performance as veep and the Democrats’ terrible presidential electoral prospects in 2024. As of Thursday, this tale of a magic castle in Colombia (or something) is expected to gross just $26 million over three days and an anemic $38.6 million over the full five-day holiday. First off, no one can blame streaming. This is a theatrical-only release. Secondly, no one can blame the pandemic. Plenty of movies are opening just fine. How bad is this? Oh, it’s bad. Democrats have long wanted the government to parent or co-parent your children, so it shouldn’t surprise anyone that President Joe Biden said the quiet part out loud Monday night. Is the administration upset that you might be spending too much time with your family? The statement is also rather vague. The “nearly 2 million” number, I assume, represents the 1.8 million-woman reduction in our labor force during the COVID-19 pandemic. But it’s untrue to claim this loss is only due to women leaving work to care for a family member. There are myriad reasons why the pandemic and government-induced shutdowns could have diminished the female workforce.

I reported earlier today on the announcement about the new COVID variant out of South Africa that immediately had some freaking out because it was supposedly “heavily mutated” and that the spike protein was “dramatically different.” That raised questions about whether immunity and the vaccines would be protective against it. There were also suggestions that it was “highly contagious among young people.” So, it seemed obvious they were gearing up to go crazy over this again. Then we reported on Dr. Anthony Fauci claiming they needed more time and information to decide on whether they needed to be talking about travel bans, that they wouldn’t be implementing a travel ban yet.

In early August Gideon Schreiber and a team of virologists at the Weizmann Institute of Science in Israel began playing around with the spike protein of the Sars-CoV-2 virus–the protein that allows the virus to enter our cells–to see if they could predict future mutations that could yield dangerous new variants of Covid-19. At the time, Schreiber noted with concern that there were a variety of ways in which the spike protein could evolve. If all of these mutations occurred at once, it could yield a variant that was both extremely transmissible and potentially capable of evading some of the body’s immune defences

Baby strollers and battered wheelchairs lay on the street in the aftermath of this racist rampage, while the media tries to cover up his black racist agendas. If a white racist had slammed his car into a black parade, there would be little doubt and less question about his motives.
