Teen thieves descended on Home Depot as part of a smash and grab robbery before taking off with sledgehammers and crowbars amid Black Friday chaos across the US. Up to ten young men - believed to be aged 15 to 20 - stormed the DIY store on Hardwick Street in Lakewood, Los Angeles at around 7.45pm. Employees said the mob pulled up in vehicles with ski masks on before grabbing multiple tools and fleeing into several waiting cars. The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department said the entire hammer section was cleared by the suspects. It is feared the brazen looters may have

Shoot the car engines to render them inoperable and see how quickly this nonsense stops.

Sounds like they are planning a bigger heist. California government will soon be regretting their decisions.
This is the work of a gang, and not a flash mob.

It's part of the reparations. Now the hammerscan be used to smash open show cases for the better stuff. It's all part of the disadvantaged youths doing their yearly early Christmas shopping.

The police sound and ACT as if they're reporters, not law enforcement agents:
"The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department said the entire hammer section was cleared by the suspects.".

The crowbars will be used to break into everything, housed, businesses, cars, govt offices - anything, The hammers can be used to kill anyone they find. This is why I think any, and I mean any, law-abiding citizen should own a weapon of their own to protect themselves. Police can't protect individuals from this type if criminal even if the murderous, criminal politicians would let them.

#1, the thieves need shooting. The cars are minding their own business.
Back when thieves of all sorts were shot when committing a crime, our crime rates were much lower, and we had fewer prisons. And generally, anybody who deserved a greater than 20 year sentence or life, was hanged. Crime rates were much lower, then. This tolerance of crime simply means they are going to get a lot more of it.

Its probably too soon to tell but with Target and other retailers ending the early shopping hours and looting of retail businesses replacing the buying frenzy we may be seeing a redefinition of the term "Black Friday".

Waiting for them to roll up to a wealthy person's home and have 20 thugs waltz in and just take whatever they want then speed away. Watching these videos of these THIEVES swarming these stores is scary. They are thieves, they are stealing, they don't fear punishment, most are black (prove me wrong). What the hell is going on? They are not stealing bread and milk for hungry mouths. Law and order needs to be demanded by the public. Isn't CA effed up enough by the liberals and loons?

The usual suspects. Until the country comes to grip with the concept that small minority is responsible for a huge percentage of crime(s) nothing will improve. Eventually the pendulum swings, and the folks will have had enough. Hopefully, we,will reach that point soon. I am afraid it will take shooting to stop looting. Does anyone see a different solution?

Well the tribe needs those specific tools to carry out their smash and grab robberies in the name of “equity” so you would have to expect that those tools would be at the top of their tribal supply chain these days.

#11 that law applies to all of Calif. I would like to say that it was laws passed by SF and LA city councils but it was a law voted into affect by the voters of Calif. It was ballot measure, Prop 14 passed in 2014. The voters in Calif were stupid enough not to know what they were voting for and persuaded by TV and news that this would be the compassionate answer to non violent crimes. Also it would lessen the burden on the prison system. So the citizens of Calif are now paying for their compassion. You cannot be soft on crime or you get anarchy and sadly Calif is watching the complete breakdown of a civil society
