Democrats have long wanted the government to parent or co-parent your children, so it shouldn’t surprise anyone that President Joe Biden said the quiet part out loud Monday night. Is the administration upset that you might be spending too much time with your family? The statement is also rather vague. The “nearly 2 million” number, I assume, represents the 1.8 million-woman reduction in our labor force during the COVID-19 pandemic. But it’s untrue to claim this loss is only due to women leaving work to care for a family member. There are myriad reasons why the pandemic and government-induced shutdowns could have diminished the female workforce.

The poll, the first under the Journal's new polling operation led by Republican pollster Tony Fabrizio, who worked for the Trump campaign in 2020, and Democratic pollster John Anzalone, who worked for Biden, surveyed 1,500 registered voters on their views of Biden and the state of the country from November 16 to 22.

You wouldn’t expect an incumbent president to be much higher than 50 percent on this metric since voters in the other party will almost universally say no, they don’t want him back on the ballot — if only to avoid having to face a candidate who’s beaten them once before.

Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk doesn’t have much in the way of nice things to say about Biden’s expensive Build Back Better plan. In fact, he believes the entire thing should just be scrapped.
While speaking at an event sponsored by the Wall Streat Journal, Musk pointed out that once a lot of these subsidies, regulations, and rules pass, there’s not really a way to get rid of them, and to be sure, he has a huge problem with a lot of what’s in the bill.

The strategy, which remains fluid, is a product of negotiations between Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., and Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., that would tie it to a non-controversial Medicare bill.
