Biden Way of Evading Questions

We’ve seen all kinds of efforts on the part of the Biden team to cover up for Joe Biden’s issues and incoherence. They’ve done all they could to try to rush people out of the White House events, rudely yelling and basically pushing them out of the room, even cutting off UK PM Boris Johnson in the process. But it’s not as easy now that Biden is in the White House as it was during the campaign when they could hide him in the basement. As my colleague Sister Toldjah explained, they even scrapped the traditional “Three Amigos” press conference with Canadian and Mexican heads of state.

Comments:

This is what Democrats mean when they say they'll have a 'transparent' administration.

"Peripheral neuropathy in the feet," aside from the side effects of diabetes, can be caused by strong chemo drugs, so I suppose long term use of other drugs might also cause this.

I was chatting with a retired hospice nurse and a retired nurse anesthetist this morning and both said that colonoscopies never take 85 minutes so something else was obviously going on while he was under. Wonder what that was…

Teeth Are Gnashed After Ron DeSantis Goes

Gov. Ron DeSantis continues to lead while other Republicans cower in the corner. With the rise of the so-called “Omicron” variant of COVID (they skipped the Xi variant for obvious reasons), the Florida governor has chosen to double down on policies that actually make sense. Lockdowns, mask mandates, and vaccine mandates simply haven’t produced results in other parts of the country. Michigan, led by Democrat Gretchen Whitmer, serves as the latest example with the state now having the highest COVID case rate in the nation. In comparison, DeSantis has rightly decided that it’s better to follow actual data and real-world results than to abide by the gospel of Fauci.

Women have come a long way. Surely, there was a time when some didn’t want to be women. Early in America, they weren’t allowed to vote. But they gained that right, and upward they went. Then bras were burned and independence espoused. Later — some might say — they replaced men as the less-maligned sex. And now…they don’t want to be women. Such is the case for select sojourners, and it’s an issue at a women’s college in Virginia. As reported by NPR, a crew of collegiate females is ditching their daughterness.

Many months ago, I wrote an article entitled “We Don’t Have a President.” That was in response to Joe Biden disappearing for several days, while Israel entered into another war with the Palestinians and a cyberattack took down a major pipeline in the United States. Those concerns seem quaint now, given the disaster in Afghanistan and the escalation of a series of domestic issues that followed, from high inflation to the supply chain crisis. Of course, the response to COVID-19 has been no better, and another confused measure was taken yesterday in response to the newest variant scare. Initially, Dr. Anthony Fauci signaled that a travel ban was not necessary,
Unvax Tax: Expert Proposes Monthly Fines

Vice President of the Lower Austrian Medical Association Gerrit Loibl has suggested that the government should levy a monthly fine of up to €100 to anyone unvaccinated. Loibl has suggested that those who have not been vaccinated should pay between €90 and €100 (£78-£84/$90-$113) per month to the government, claiming that the amount is based on the current tax on tobacco products. The proposed monthly fines would be part of Austria’s already announced vaccine mandate for all residents that is scheduled to begin in February of next year. Medical law expert Karl Stöger was critical of the proposal, however

Last week, in the community of Brandon, Florida, Governor Ron De Santis summarized the vision of governance that should be the model for all aspiring and current conservative lawmakers. (A full transcript can be seen here and the quote in question comes around the 39:00 mark.) When asked why he stepped in to prevent Florida localities from enacting mask mandates or the federal government from enforcing vaccine mandates, the reply was concisely precise: “You don’t have the right to do wrong.” Bingo.

The assailant has been identified as Darrell E. Brooks, a “rapper” with a long history of criminal conduct.A look at Brooks’ criminal record is eye-opening and includes counts related to domestic and sexual abuse. I had to go back and hit the NBA and LeBron James one more time today, sports fans. Target-rich environment, you know. Besides, this one was just too good to pass up. Let’s start at the beginning of the larger story. Turkish-American Boston Celtics center Enes Kanter has been waging virtually a one-player protest, in a league of cowards and hypocrites, against the NBA, Nike, and pretty much all of sports media for continuing “business as usual” with China, as the ChiComs continue their brutal oppression of Uyghur Muslims.

The surprise victory of Republican Glenn Youngkin to become the next governor of Virginia shocked the political world earlier this month. Down double digits just months prior, Youngkin surged back into the race in the final weeks, eventually defeating heavily favored Democrat Terry McAuliffe. Youngkin didn’t make his comeback by prioritizing the normal slate of GOP issues. Rather, he focused like a laser beam on the culture war surrounding leftwing school boards and the harm they are causing to children. That strategy led to big shifts in Loudoun County and other bluish, suburban areas, with the assumption being that Youngkin was a different kind of Republican.

Now, before you lose your mind over the title and the thought of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) at a swinger’s bar, let me explain. The name of the bar that she was at was Swingers. The reason they call it Swingers is because, in addition to fancy cocktails and high-end street food, they have an adults-only mini-golf course or “crazy golf club,” as they call themselves. On the course, you are encouraged to drink, so Pelosi should fit right in. Pelosi was at the bar with her arm around Rep. Yvette Clarke (D-NY), neither were wearing masks despite the city mandate to wear masks indoors

As if the backlog of processing illegal migrants isn’t jammed up enough due to the sheer number of them, the latest twist is that some countries refuse to take back their citizens. The countries that the largest number of migrants are coming from are Venezuela and Nicaragua. Venezuela is where the largest number of migrants comes from now, exceeding the number of Mexicans coming across the border. Axios has a report that 800 Venezuelan migrants have crossed the border illegally every day for the last two weeks. This squares with reports from last summer about the growing problem of Venezuelans fleeing that country

The late brilliant columnist, author, and Fox News personality Charles Krauthammer observed in a 2002 column: “Conservatives think liberals are stupid. Liberals think conservatives are evil.” While I don’t disagree with Dr. Krauthammer, I do want to offer a variation: Liberals are terrified of conservatives. Specifically, liberals are terrified of conservatives they view as a threat. Conservatives in positions of power, conservatives with a microphone and a substantive base that listens; conservatives who threaten the liberal narrative by telling America the truth, and even more threatening, exposing liberal lies. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s (D-CA) ambitions of keeping the Democrat majority in the House of Representatives past the midterm elections next year are dwindling as droves of vulnerable Democrats have announced they are leaving their current seats to either retire or seek a different office instead of fighting in a brutal reelection. Republicans only need to net five seats to pick up the House majority after the midterms. So far, more than triple the amount of Democrats (18 total) have decided to officially call it quits on the House and have left their seats open for a fight, giving Republicans a chance to gain another seat since House Republicans

I suggested last week that negative stories about Kamala Harris that ran on CNN and over at Politico were surely planted by the Biden political staff at the White House, but I’m not sure whether the same can be said about today’s much more savage story in The Telegraph: “With Kamala Harris looking unelectable, the Democrats are considering the nuclear option.” Unlike the Daily Mail, which sensationalizes news from the U.S. in tabloid style—though it must be said that it is often reporting stories the U.S. mainstream media avoids—The Telegraph is a staid broadsheet. Thus, some of the content of this story is all the more astounding for the panic

"It's a universal standard and we've been working with a bunch of other states, there's probably 15 or 20 of them, to try to create a single QR code that can be used for all sorts of things where people may choose to require a vaccine," Baker said
