President Joe Biden Is the Turkey of the Year

Original Article

Posted By: ladydawgfan, 11/22/2021 8:16:15 PM

Ever since the Ringside Politics program started 22 years ago, we have enjoyed an annual tradition. Every year, during Thanksgiving week, we announce our Turkey of the Year winner. Our previous award recipients have included both celebrities and politicians, as well as Republicans and Democrats. Our 2020 winner was former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo. He was chosen for combining sanctimonious media performances with shady ethical conduct and potentially criminal behavior involving numerous female victims. Eventually, his unacceptable activity involving these women contributed to his forced resignation. Like Andrew Cuomo our 2021 award winner is a real turkey in every respect.

Comments:

Wholeheartedly agree, although I would crown him "Turkey of the Century!!!" Let’s go Brandon!!!

The only consistency there has been in the pronouncements of Dr. Antony Fauci, the public face of the pandemic since Donald Trump was president, is their inconsistency. Fauci is now saying that being “fully vaccinated” may mean getting a booster shot as well. Previously, Fauci said that being “fully vaccinated” meant receiving two shots of the Moderna or Pfizer vaccines or a single shot of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine. Facui says this is how you follow the science. Fox News: “People should not be put off by the fact that as time goes by and we learn more and more about the protection that we might modify the guidelines,” he explained.

Governor Ron DeSantis of Florida has become one of the favorite targets of Democrats over his commitment to combatting the COVID-19 pandemic with a freedom-minded strategy. The strategy is working, as Florida’s COVID stats continue to look better and better. As of November 19, the state has vaccinated 68% of its population — and that number skews low because it includes the small number of children who have received the shot. In the midst of such encouraging numbers, Florida continues to line up on the side of medical freedom under the leadership of DeSantis. The state recently passed new laws that restrict vaccine mandates, and DeSantis trolled the left

Doesn't anyone on the inside of the White House have the guts to tell the emperor that he has no clothes? With Christmas coming, is there any hope that the ghost of the Christmas future will show the man the nightmare he is creating? Where is Moses when you need someone to plead for his people? That's what America needs right now, someone to shout until President Biden hears - "LET OUR PEOPLE GO!" In fact, if Ben Franklin had gotten his way, the Great Seal of the United States would have featured Moses leading his people through the Red Sea and away from tyranny instead of a bald eagle.

Former Rep. Beto O'Rourke (D-TX) who is also a failed senatorial and presidential candidate, and who just recently announced his run for governor of Texas, so as to likely lose a third race, made an appearance on CNN's "State of the Union" for Sunday morning. He was predictably asked about the "not guilty" verdict in the Kyle Rittenhouse trial, where he once more addressed his preoccupation with wanting AR-15s banned. Host Dana Bash asked O'Rourke for his reaction, to which he suggested "this entire tragedy makes the case that we should not allow our fellow Americans to own and use weapons that were originally designed for battlefield use."

He only took the vaccine due to pressure from his doctor. He soon developed multisystem inflammation and multisystem failure that even the medical professionals could not stop according to his obituary. Michael started to feel ill three days after he received the Moderna vaccine on August 17. Media types have two modes when asking politicians questions. If they're Democrats, the questions are softballs about ice cream and the things they'll do to save the world. If they're Republicans, the questions are meant to highlight the politicians' cruelty, hypocrisy, or stupidity. One journalist, though, learned that when that Republican politician is Ron DeSantis, asking a gotcha question about conservative governance is a way to bring a rain of fire down on the journalist's head. When it comes to Florida's governor, Ron DeSantis, I tend to agree with a comment Matt Walsh made on a podcast, which is that DeSantis has Trump's courage without Trump's baggage.

Joe Biden’s nominee to head the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, Saule Omarova, faced fierce questions from Republicans on the Hill today. Rightly so, given her radical positions on capitalism and banking. My colleague Dennis Santiago has written about some of those positions here and here. Here she is arguing why we should do away with private banking and increase government control by having everything run through the Fed. “How is it politically feasible for the Central Bank to effectively take money away from people’s accounts?” she asks. Joe Biden is just not popular. His agenda sucks. His presidency sucks. And the 2022 midterms are geared for a massive red wave that could render him irrelevant. The generic GOP ballot has a ten-point advantage over Democrats, according to The Washington Post's poll. It's the first time a gap that wide has ever been recorded. Rising inflation is an issue. There's a global supply chain crisis. Americans are still trapped in Afghanistan. And illegal aliens continue to flood the border. It's a mess—and Biden seems incapable of handling…anything. He has task forces to handle these issues, but they never solve the problem,

More than a dozen NYPD cops have ditched the Big Apple to join the force in a small Florida city — part of a nationwide trend of disgruntled officers finding greener pastures in pro-police communities. Lakeland — a community of 108,000 people 35 miles east of Tampa — mounted a social media campaign targeting NYC cops earlier this year, and in April dispatched a delegation to recruit in Times Square. Fourteen former Finest moved to Lakeland in the past year — 12 of them wooed over the past two months thanks to the recruiting trip. The respect accorded cops in Florida “was an eye opener,”

President Joe Biden promoted his efforts to lower gas prices on Tuesday, but he reminded Americans they would save more money on gas if they owned electric cars. “For the hundreds of thousands of folks who bought one of those electric cars, they’re going to save $800 to $1000 in fuel costs this year,” Biden said, referring to the $112,595 electric Hummer pickup he test drove at a General Motors factory in Detroit earlier this month. The president appeared frustrated that some Americans continue blaming his environmental agenda for higher gas prices, dismissing it as a “myth.” “My effort to combat climate change

I’ve been told there’s value in hearing an outside viewpoint about people more intimately tied to the emotional maelstrom of unfolding events. Conversely, I find it helpful to receive information from people in the know, which adds to the volume and depth of my research. When it comes to Kamala Harris’s floundering, I’ve been hearing shocking gossip. I received this gossip directly from a Washington insider, It will be difficult to confirm until it happens, if it happens.

The remaining 18 million barrels are part of a sale that Congress has already authorized; the White House said it was accelerating the release of that sale.

Tucker Carlson scored the first interview with Kyle Rittenhouse and I highly recommend it. Before the trial, Rittenhouse was a human Rorschach test: We all saw what we wanted to see. Tucker’s interview revealed a real person: articulate, intelligent, principled, nuanced in his opinions, and even-tempered. (snip) The real young man is...well, real. First, he speaks fluently, without the “like” and “you know” fillers that most young people use. I thought that his smooth, intelligent speech on the witness stand was because he was well-rehearsed (which is what all lawyers should do to prepare their clients for their testimony). It seems, though, that Rittenhouse really just speaks well.

Iowa’s Medicaid system must cover gender confirmation surgery, a judge ruled Friday. Polk County District Court Judge William P. Kelly ruled that a state law that blocked Medicaid from covering gender confirmation procedures violated the Iowa Civil Rights Act and the Iowa Constitution—allowing trans Iowans to receive coverage for medically necessary surgery to treat gender dysphoria. Gender dysphoria is defined as a “marked incongruence between their experienced or expressed gender and the one they were assigned at birth.” It is a serious medical condition that often begins in childhood, even though some people may not experience it until after puberty or even later, according to the American Psychiatric Association.

The team found that in Georgia, Trump would be ahead by 3 points, 8 points in Arizona, 12 points in Michigan, 6 points in Pennsylvania and 10 points in Wisconsin, if the race were held today.Together, the states represent 73 electoral votes.

There’s an opinion piece in today’s NY Times titled “Everyone’s Moving to Texas. I’ve lived in California nearly all my life, and it’s still more likely than not that I will remain here; reports of a sudden “exodus” from the state are frequently exaggerated. Still, there’s plenty going wrong — soaring housing costs, devastating poverty and inequality, and the cascading disasters brought about by a change in what was once our big selling point, the climate. Not a month goes by that I don’t wonder what I’m doing here.
