An interview by Maria Bartiromo this morning highlights one of the dynamics almost invisible to most voices who speak on a granular level about the background of Spygate, and where they believe John Durham is going. In this interview, former Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe outlines the moment in August of 2016 when Team Obama (he uses John Brennan) tells the president what Team Clinton is doing.
To set the correct context to understand the importance of what Ratcliffe is outlining here, it is important to remember that inside the executive branch of government, heading into the 2016 election, the two distinct camps were operating based on their

As if we didn't know Obama was in it from the beginning years ago. Still yawning.
I'm not saying it won't happen but until a major figure gets arrested I just don't care.

Sorry Sundance BUT
Wake me up when somebody gets charged with something other than LYING TO THE FBI.

The deep dive is fine, but the reality is that no one but low-levels are ever going to go down behind this. The top players are always immune to getting prosecuted.
I'd be happy to be proven wrong here.

Interesting read. It provides context and motives.
But I can’t figure out: if (and it was) the Dossier was fiction, why didn’t some schlub somewhere just sit down one nite and type up some fiction?
Seems it would have been as plausible and less expensive than the gyrations Team Clinton conducted to involve Steele, Fusion GPS et al.
Just wondering…

I try but it is very tiresome to follow threads on this forum where the preponderance of posts share the leitmotif: "wake me up . . ." Good Lawd, wake up or get off the lawn.

#6, I believe “wake me up”is just meant to express frustration. We are all awake here, but these never ending investigations that end up with zero justice tends to make one a little cranky. People just want to see justice done because the people involved up to their eyebrows are never investigated or nothing comes of the investigations. They have become such a waste of time and money. As Bill Ayers said, guilty as sin and free as a bird, and our response is “grrrr”.

I'm going to give Durham a chance. Things are starting to surface which shows that Obama was the ring leader on the federal investigation because he was briefed that it was false. EVERYONE in Obama's administration knew it was false but he allowed a criminal illegal investigation to occur. Looks like Hillary is going to be toast. Let's see how this plays out.

I am pretty much with #6. If anyone thinks that some person will just be able to come in and magically prosecute top players, I probably have a bridge to sell. These are deep, swampy and murky waters and there is no light in those waters. It is the adversary's playground and a maze that has to be navigated. Not anything that can occur in a short period of time.

I'm keeping my expectations in check, but if there is at least one more indictment, it could mean the dominoes are beginning to fall. Plus, all the rats might start jumping ship and running to Durham to be among the first to make a deal The tide could quickly turn, and if it does, it will be epic.

True #12 but if things get too hot the plug will be pulled on Durham and everything ends--unless the Pubes get back in full power and then statute of limitations will probably be reached. Good article BTW.

If Illary were ever going to be indicted it would have happened when she destroyed 33,000 emails which were under subpoena and had her staff smash all of their devices with hammers. If any of us had destroyed one email which was under subpoena, we would have gone to prison.
Sorry, #6, but I have run out of hope that justice will be served to the elites who are destroying this country.

Interesting and insightful reminder of BIllary's failed attempt to cheat her way to the Resolute Desk in 2016. To this day, I loathe AG Barr whose legal strategies have limited the scope of Durham's investigation to make Obie's team indictment-proof and focus mostly on Billary's team where the indictments will now come.

I was frustrated with Durham’s inaction too until I read the Danchenko indictment and remembered how much hard, detailed work is required to build a successful prosecution against these swamp rats. It’s not enough to want action and punishment. Winning a criminal case in the US - thank God - is very difficult; much more difficult than dashing off a condescending post on Lucianne.com.

Ok so it all we get is an "Itoldyouso" moment then let's make the most of it. It is incumbent on all of us to react accordingly. Every single solitary soul who desires the experiment in individual liberty protected by limited government to survive must react as though a coup against that government has just now been exposed.
My first thought was that every republican in congress needs to act with justified outrage and what has just been exposed then I caught myself leaving myself off the same hook.
The slow drip of information has served to de-fuse the indignation. Those of us who have been paying attention for a long time believed we knew this to be true because of the compelling arguments of credible people who never lied to us.
Easier said than done I'm not sure how I'll do this but I need to act as though I just found out my county was overthrown.
Only a complete fool would believe the lingering Russia Gate cloud didn't factor in to 2020. Without even considering other factors.
Only a complete fool would believe the party of Russia Russia Russia decided to play it straight in 2020.
What the politicians do, or as we expect won't do, is a reflection of what we tolerate. I have a few emails to send out. We need to make it as intolerable as possible without falling into 6 Jan traps. I'm open to suggestions, I don't claim to have the answers.

The difference between a few years ago and now is that the Clintons are no longer useful to the Democratc Party and will no longer receive the protection they once had. Even "untouchables" have their downfall. Ask Harvey Weinstein.

FTA: “ Should John Durham get too close to the Obama line of protection, the political system will defend itself by highlighting that John Durham has no legal authority.”
The failure of that logic is that either side could use that flaw in Durham’s appointment as special prosecutor, not just the obama side.

No one of any consequence will be indicted and no one of any "inconsequence" will go to jail. My cynical opinion is now firmly rooted in knowing what these last six years has shown, that political corruption and a two tiered and biased system of justice reign supreme in our federal law enforcement agencies and national security agencies. Hannity's 99 percent honest FBI agents don't exist. Not even he says this any longer. Bill Barr's actions while at the White House and in the days before he left, for me, was like being hit in the head with a 2 by 4. I was overjoyed when Trump finally, I thought, hired someone that was brilliant, honest and would set things straight. How incredibly naive and wrong I was. Barr is the president of the Deep State club.
This destructive vile growth of corruption that has a stranglehold on our government institutions, I believe was started and nourished during the Clinton years. And like an invasive plant species, has spread throughout other federal and state agencies. John Ratcliff was lackluster, unclear and disappointing yesterday in his defense of the continuation of Duraham's so-called investigation. The Durham investigation is a total joke. Comey, Struck-Stroke, McCabe, Clinton, the media, true insurrectionists guilty of the real overthrow of the United States government, will ride away Scott free. They will continue to capitalize financially on their crimes, as in comparison harmless citizens involved in the January 6 protest, rot in jail and have their lives and those of their families destroyed. If there was ever a better example of a two tiered corrupt justice system in the United States, I cannot think of it.
How this all gets righted, is anyone's guess. I fear the destructive vile growth is too deep.

Former AG Bill Barr had been advertised as a principled straight arrow. I wondered why it was taking him so long to get anything done. It seems that "deep state" types are everywhere.

Team Obama and Team Clinton. This story is convoluted and supported by facts. Evidence. Sundance does a great job of explaining these things and prepping us as to what to watch for in the Ratcliffe/Bartiromo video.
