Alexander Vindman, the retired U.S. Army lieutenant colonel who helped plot the botched impeachment of former President Donald Trump in what amounted to a failed coup attempt, thinks Tucker Carlson should be “censured” for saying things Vindman doesn’t like about the Jan. 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol. Vindman is also confused about what “yelling fire in a crowded theater” means. People like Vindman always invoke the fire-in-a-crowded-theater line every time they want to justify censorship, and every time they reveal their bone-crushing ignorance. The line comes from Justice Oliver Wendell Holmes, who in a 1919 opinion in Schenck v. United States wrote, “The most stringent protection of free speech would not protect a man in falsely shouting fire in a theatre and causing a panic.” But Schenck was one of the most loathsome free speech decisions in the court’s history, and it was overturned 50 years ago. Davidson writes at length about Schenck and its eventual outcome.

Vindman, the CiC wannabe, and darling of the Deep State, has no clue about the Bill of Rights, and what they mean. The article correctly pointed out Vindman should have realized that "yelling fire in a crowded theater" is really protected free speech. But Vindman is a fool and he doesn't care, and he can't carry Tucker's water no matter how much he bloviates.

V'diddy was moved from his primary branch of infantry as a captain to his foreign area officer specialty even though he retained his infantry crossed rifles. That is, his assignments and promotions would be foreign area related and not because of any infantry proficiency or leadership skills. In a different time, this would be a sign that advancement to higher rank is extremely limited with those slots going to qualified combat arms types. However, V'diddy was selected to the Army War College which means he would be in line for promotion to full Col. The DC-centric Army establishment remained largely silent on V'diddy's actions and let him remain on schedule to go to Carlisle Barracks until the pressure was too much to bear. As we've found out more every day the Army and the military have been corrupted at the top, and that they hung on to this traitor to the very last minute speaks to their blatant political opposition to Trump and his supporters, and an apathetic if not downright sabotaging of our combat capability.

In the mid 60's, I was at a "Who" (or is it "The Who") concert in NYC at the Fillmore East when the concert was interrupted by a NYC Fire Marshall walking on stage , stopping the concert and telling us that there was "a problem" next door and that we had to leave. There was no panic and we all left in an orderly and non panicked fashion and as were leaving down a small alley way between the buildings, I had lucked out and was walking right next to Pete Townsend and Keith Moon. There was no panic and it sort of turned into a party and memory. As a drummer,.I was thrilled to be that close to Pete and Keith.

President Joe Biden’s administration is withholding information about Afghanistan, Special Inspector General for Afghanistan Reconstruction (SIGAR) John Sopko said during a speech on Friday. As an example, Sopko said, the Department of Defense (DoD) withheld information on the performance of Afghan security forces, including unit strength, training deficiencies, and casualty data, or, “in essence, nearly all the information you needed to know to determine whether the Afghan security forces were a real fighting force or a house of cards waiting to fall.” “In light of recent events, it is not surprising that the Afghan government, and likely some in DoD, wanted to keep that information under lock and key,” he added.

The United States, literally awash in prescription medication, is at the mercy of the FDA, a federal agency that approves drugs at an astounding rate. Why is this the case? GET YOUR KIDS OUT OF PUBLIC SCHOOLS! South High students are still shaken by what they saw in the lunchroom Wednesday. There are multiple videos showing the moments when one girl apparently attacked another over a cafeteria table. Another angle shows a student attacking the girl with overhand blows. In another, you can even see the knife on the table. The other students' just watched the girl get stabbed and they tried to justify their actions later! "Everybody was mostly shocked that she had a knife during the fight cause I don't think they realized until after," said Andre Robinson, South High student.
