Chicago police union head John Catanzara is no longer prohibited from publicly encouraging his members to disobey the city’s COVID-19 vaccine mandate, which expired Monday after a judge refused to extend it. Cook County Judge Cecilia Horan denied city attorneys’ request for the order to be extended and expanded in a written ruling, saying the situation since the first injunction had "materially changed." City attorneys wanted the order extended to include other union leaders in addition to Fraternal Order of Police president, Catanzara, accusing him of continuing to speak out or having other union officials do so in his place.

Since when do Americans need a judge to tell us that! What a clown show this nation had turned into.

I think the order was a stop-gap measure by the judge and she knows she’d be reversed if extended. Prior restraint and all . . .

Why should ANY American be forced to take the Covid Shot when Congress EXEMPTED themselves from the mandate? Why should we listen to any lawmaker about the ineffectiveness Ivermectin when 100-200 members of Congress have taken the drug Themselves? This must NOT stand. It's ridiculous and disgusting. Where is the media on this? We are being governed by Tyrants.

I am leaning in favor of #1's opinion. The judge knows she would be laughed at and most likely disobeyed by the Union head if she extended her ruling. I am glad to see some groups and unions fighting these mandates. It is going to get really bad in some aspects of our country if they don't.

Congress did not exempt themselves from the mandate, #2. Executive actions only cover the executive branch of the Federal Government. By definition, EOs cannot cover either the Legislative or Judicial branches. Also, there is no mandate.

Th term of art in collective bargaining is called 'scope of bargaining.' Scope of bargaining is usually defined as wages, hours, terms and conditions of employment. And unless terms and conditions of employment are specifically limited by law, most everything is subject to collective bargaining. Therefore, the judge issuing the injunction was probably in violation of the law.

Biden’s campaign was the press, which lies largely in Democratic hands and that’s why they always fail to mention Biden’s obvious decline! Also, we have rarely seen him since he was sworn as President! Biden has indeed stepped back — in comparison to Trump and his constant presence in the media, absolutely, but even compared to Barack Obama and George W. Bush. Biden simply doesn’t say or do very much in public.

Thousands of celebrated children’s books, such as Dr Seuss’s The Cat in the Hat, have been branded with trigger warnings by Cambridge University for alleged racism. A taxpayer-funded project to digitise texts at Cambridge’s Homerton College will be slapping warnings on potentially “harmful” words, phrases, and pictures “relating to slavery, colonialism and racism”. The woke endeavour is partially being funded by a grant of £80,633 in taxpayer money from the UK Arts and Humanities Research Council, according to the Daily Mail.

The Left (institutionally) hates Christianity, and that standard explanation, such as its alleged bigotry, we can’t explain why the Left gives Islam a pass. Christianity stands in the way of the Leftist agenda. Moreover, if the Devil exists, he would favor not just the “false religion” of environmentalism and Marxism, but also postmodernism. Ultimately, the gospel reconciles God and man, which is not what the Devil wants. The left in America clearly lost its compass!

Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., said in an interview that aired Sunday night that Dr. Anthony Fauci, the top disease specialist in the U.S., should be fired after last week’s revelation that the National Institutes of Health funded gain-of-function research on the coronavirus. Paul was interviewed by Axios and mentioned a letter from the NIH to Ranking Member Rep. James Comer, R-Ky., that admitted to "limited experiment" conducted in order to test if "spike proteins from naturally occurring bat coronaviruses circulating in China were capable of binding to the human ACE2 receptor in a mouse model," which critics say contradict Fauci’s long-held claim.

China on Tuesday launched a major effort to ramp up coal production and stabilize coal prices ahead of an anticipated surge in electric power demand this winter. China’s National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) reportedly ordered mine operators to “produce as much coal as possible.” CNN noted on Wednesday that China made an effort to scale back coal production this year to placate climate change activists, but those desultory efforts simply evaporated in the face of rolling blackouts that interfered with the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) industrial goals.

Some conservative Indiana lawmakers wanting to stymie President Joe Biden’s planned COVID-19 vaccine mandates for private employers are facing skepticism from their own Republican leaders and the state’s largest business group. While Biden has promised federal vaccination-or-testing regulations for all companies with 100 or more workers, bills are planned by some Indiana legislators who want to join other Republican-led states in trying to prohibit private companies from requiring vaccine shots. Supporters of that action are already preparing to raise the issue again when the new Indiana legislative session starts in January, even though similar bills failed during the 2021 session.

he best way to stop a bad guy with a gun, is with a good guy with a gun. This is why Cops carry guns. If anyone tells you differently and to use empty hand fighting techniques like this one or that one against someone armed with a gun, they are giving you worse than bad advise.

What this means simply is taxing people for money they have not earned or received. That's it in a nutshell. That definition should leave even those who have never had a course in accounting or finance shaken. Not only is Janet Yellen considering this, but the Democrat party is on board as well.
