Fully-vaccinated Pennsylvania Rep. Glenn Thompson announced he tested positive for COVID-19 on Friday afternoon and was admitted to Walter Reed. Thompson, 62, made the announcement on Twitter and said that he had been experiencing cold-like symptoms which prompted a COVID test for him. The Republican lawmaker was taken to the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center to treat his symptoms in the 'breakthrough' case. He is one of at least eight House Representatives that has tested positive for the virus since early August.(Snip)Fellow federal lawmaker Ohio Democratic Rep. Tim Ryan, who is also vaccinated, tested positive a month before. Following his diagnosis, he urged

Comments:

The US Congress is exempt from the nonexistent vaccine mandate that is nonetheless being forced on employees nationwide, so Rep. Thompson at least took the shot on his own. Was he not current on his regular boosters? Also remember that the unvaccinated need to get the shot to protect the vaccinated, which in modern times makes perfect sense.

The Shot does not prevent infection with the virus. The Shot does not prevent passing on the virus to someone else, vaccinated or not. The Shot does not prevent getting seriously ill from the virus. The Shot does not prevent dying from the virus. The Shot may kill you or maim you, all by itself.

President Biden, just hours after taking the oath of office on Jan. 20, ordered all federal agencies to examine their policies and deliver a report within 200 days outlining any “structural racism” they found. Nine months later, more than two months past Mr. Biden’s deadline, the White House won’t say how many reports it has received or what information it has found. But a survey by The Washington Times of a dozen departments and agencies revealed widespread concerns about the government shortchanging people of color, including in farm aid, visits to national parks and the disbursement of unemployment benefits. The president’s order gave agencies until Jan. 20 to recommend ways

The 44 puppies were locked in cages for nine consecutive days and used as bait to attract infectious sand flies that would eat the dogs alive, the report alleges. Researchers are also accused of removing the dogs' vocal chords so they could work without 'incessant barking.'
