If there was any doubt before, the gloves are now officially off in the 2021 race to be the next mayor of New York City. Democratic nominee Eric Adams on Tuesday called Republican rival Curtis Sliwa a “racist”—and accused the Guardian Angels founder of turning the general election to succeed a term-limited Bill de Blasio into a “circus.”(Snip)“I dedicated my life as a police officer for 22 years [to] fighting against the systemic racism that exists, and just really how we perceive everyday New Yorkers. And so, it’s difficult for Curtis to talk about systemic racism, because he has been a leading voice of being

Political campaigns are almost by definition a circus. No candidate prefers obscurity. Talk about issues impassionately and politely and no one listens. Oh, and don't forget the bread. Bread and circuses have been paired since forever.

You just had to know that the race card will be played anytime there are Black Democrats and White political candidates running against each other in a future election. This is just one example what is to come. That’s because to a good sized segment of the USA population in this era everything that happens in politics has a big racial element, and it is Democrat contemporary politics to widen the racial gap across the country wherever possible.

How can one be a police officer, and be a democrap? The same for bring in the military. The two just don't make any sense to me. As a police officer, you have first hand experience dealing with the scum of society. The type of people everyone else tries to escape from, and yet after all that experience, you still think like a demoslut or believe in demoslut ideals? What kind of mental malfunction takes place for that to happen? I've known a lot of police officers over the years, and none had a socialist mindset.

Remember that when you point your finger at someone to call them a racist, there are four pointing back at you Mr. Adams.

My first hand experience with Curtis will tell you he is not a racist. A moron but not a racist.
Adams was a Republican but he switched parties so he could hold an office in NYC.

If/when Adams is elected Mayor, New York City will continue its swirling down the toilet into the cesspool of despair and chaos. Things will only continue to get worse and people will continue to leave in droves. Once again, idiot New Yorkers will elect the government they deserve. They will continue to elect liberal Democrats who promise the moon and more but never deliver positive results. Their idiocy in electing inferior politicians who are so clearly bad for them is quickly dispelling the myth (their myth) that New York City residents are all suave, sophisticated, and smart, and that the rest of the country couldn't function without them.

I don't think Adams was ever a Republican as one poster suggests. I just remember him for years as the head of something called 100 black officers or something close. He made a career of screaming racism. Now sadly, at least among the whacko communist running on the democrat side he's the most moderate. While I would absolutely vote for Sliwa if I were a NY I doubt he has a snowball's chance in hell of winning in NYC. Hell they elected comrade DeBlasio twice!

This guy Adams is one slippery dude. His record as a cop has been pushed under the rug. He was under investigation so he resigned from the force. And Adams is being wined and dined at the finest restaurants in NY by his limousine liberal friends. Not only that, he doesn’t even live in the city, but across the river in Englewood, NJ! Again, the MSM is not reporting this except the Post. He’s a complete phony. The fix is in for the Democrat.

"You RACISS." Good enough for Noo Yawkers; Sliwa is sunk. Doubly so because Eric Adams has been on the frontlines fighting systemic racism before it even existed.
