U.S. adults increasingly accept Marxist

A new survey shows that U.S. adults, especially millennials, increasingly endorse Marxist views such as the rejection of private property and traditional morality, even though they don’t adopt Marxism as a label. The Cultural Research Center (CRC) at Arizona Christian University, which published the results last week, found in a representative poll of 2,000 U.S. adults that one-third or more endorsed a dozen elements of Marxist theory on issues ranging from racism to God. Pollster George Barna, CRC founder and research director, said the results indicate that 10% of Americans have internalized Marxist ideology and now draw from it in their daily decisions,

Comments:

No doubt it's a lot higher than that, considering that Marxists have run our schools and mainstream media since at least the 1960s.

They've never had Marxists policies explained to them. They have however, embraced the idea that things should be given to them. In my area, too many millennials have homes because mommy and daddy have given them the money to purchase a home that they would normally not be able to buy. The idea of working and saving is completely foreign to many of them.

I think they (Obama and his mentors) are rolling this out about 20 years too early. Maybe they are just testing the waters? In 20 years those of us who had parents in WWII or Korea, even those who served in Vietnam will be gone. What we were taught will be gone. Our education system will have had twenty more years of indoctrination. Can you imagine needing a "safe space" when you were a college age kid? These guys are not fighters by any means. We can see today the inroads that they have made in the past forty years in turning our kids against the country and we are still around to protest. If we don't put the brakes on now, and get back to what we had under Trump so that they can live their life free and know exactly what that means, how will they realize what will be gone. Way too many people caved during Covid and surrendered their rights and liberties willingly, and it took nothing but a "scare" to do it.

How can anyone accept a survey that combines questions on private property with those on traditional morality? If you introduce morality questions in the same survey with private property questions you condition the respondents to think of private property as a moral issue. It is not about morality but economics which is ultimately amoral. Private property provides the best system to enable economic decisions at the individual level which is more efficient, durable, and successful over time than centralized control ala command economies. People understand this when they aren't lead to an answer by a questionaire.

Barna’s polling is reliable. So many of the “millennials” are spoiled, have had so much just flat out given to them, have often not had to face hard realities, and have some sort of entitlement mentality. Unicorns, rainbows, and marshmallow world existence will all go away when they have to give it up when the economy tanks and people working their butts off say NO and REFUSE to have the fruits of their labors GIVEN AWAY to others who do not deserve it
