‘Continuous vetting’: Pentagon to
keep closer eye on troops, civilians, contractors

The Defense Department this week officially launched its new and expanded “continuous vetting” program for all troops, civilian employees and defense contractors, replacing the traditional system of periodic background checks with more in-depth monitoring that relies heavily on technology to flag suspicious behavior. Pentagon officials said at a news conference Tuesday that they’ll also consider eventually monitoring social media activity for all 3.6 million people directly employed by the Defense Department or working as contractors. For now, however, the automated system will search for illegal or other suspicious activity within the military workforce and flag it for review. The revamped vetting system could ultimately give more fuel to critics

Make sure all those contractors are WOKE. People of color in all administrative positions. No Whites allowed. Take all the Whites out of the curriculum. No more Whites in office. Demand 100% foreign government. But NO ASIANS.

If I'm not mistaken the Pentagon's job is to keep closer eyes on North Korea, Iran, Cuba, China, Russia etc. They should stay in their lane and not spend their limited resources on who I am texting.

I see several thing happening because of this. Fewer people will join the military. Fewer people will become Government contractors and the quality of government work will be worse. Fewer people will use "Social Media" (which is not necessarily a bad thing). Maybe fewer people will become government workers (we can always hope).

How Stasi like of them. The Stasi motto was Schild und Schwert der Partei (Shield and Sword of the Party), referring to the ruling Socialist Unity Party of Germany. One of the Stasi's main tasks was spying on the population, primarily through a vast network of citizens turned informants, and fighting any opposition by overt and covert measures, including hidden psychological destruction of dissidents (Zersetzung, literally meaning "decomposition").

Too bad the Pentagon did not keep a closer eye on Afghanistan, so they would not have got caught with their pants down, and boots off, as the Taliban walked in unapposed and took all their weapons. They say they didn't see that coming. It would behoove the Pentagon to start vetting their leadership. It is manifest the leadership they have now is corrupt, incompetent, and disaffected and unadmired by the troops they think they lead. And a notification to the Pentagon. You don't set foreign policy. Please amend your thinking accordingly.

Seattle's police department is preparing to fire up to 400 officers who have not yet had their Covid shot in line with the city's strict vaccine mandate—despite already suffering staff shortages, rising crime rates and high 911 response times. The Seattle Police Department has an October 18 deadline for all sworn personnel to turn in proof of COVID-19 vaccinations or risk losing their jobs. As of Friday, 292 officers have yet to turn in proof of vaccination—or 27 percent of the department's 1,080 deployable police officers. Another 111 officers—ten percent of the deployable officers—are waiting on exemption requests to be approved. If all 403 officers are let go

A federal COVID loan to the art gallery repping Hunter Biden more than doubled after his father took office, records show. The Georges Berges Gallery initially received a $150,000 COVID “disaster assistance loan” from the Small Business Administration last year, according to public records. But the loan was recently “revised,” with the SBA approving a further $350,000 to the SoHo gallery this summer, records show. The approval came on July 26, in the lead-up to Berges’ exclusive marketing of 15 paintings by the president’s scandal-scarred son, public records show. In addition to the COVID disaster assistance loans, the SoHo gallery received nearly $80,000 in two payments
