Attorney General Merrick Garland made a stunning announcement about having the FBI and U.S. Attorneys’ Offices coordinate with federal, state, and local law enforcement to deal with “threats” of violence against school boards and people working in schools.
This immediately prompted cries from critics that Garland was trying to suppress people objecting to pandemic restrictions and CRT — two of the hot button issues that have caused many people to come out and object at school board meetings.
While Garland spoke about “threats,” he didn’t identify any threats or concerns which would qualify as federal criminal action requiring such interference in the parents’ rights to express themselves.

Last week, we reported on how the ACLU went full cringe in a tweet they posted where they altered a quote from the late Ruth Bader Ginsburg to eliminate all references to women.
To quickly recap, Republicans and even some Democrats ripped the organization to shreds for posting a revised quote from the former Supreme Court associate justice and feminist icon on the one year anniversary of her death, a quote that was specifically about an issue that directly relates to women (abortion).
As of this writing, the tweet is still up. Here’s how the ACLU changed a dead woman’s words to make them sound more gender-neutral, erasing women in the process.

As we learned over the weekend, teachers in New York City won a court victory to delay their termination if they don’t get vaccinated by midnight tonight. But healthcare workers around the state apparently didn’t come up with a similar plan, or if they did, it didn’t work. A similar mandate applying to them is set to go into effect after today and it applies to doctors, nurses, and just about everyone else working at any hospital, nursing home, doctor’s office, or other medical facilities. Given the significant number of frontline healthcare workers who are among the

By an overwhelming majority, the House voted to fund the Israeli Iron Dome today, a defensive system that protects against Palestinian rocket barrages. That vote was necessary as a stand-alone bill because far-left anti-Semites, mostly members of the so-called “squad,” joined forces earlier in the week to strip the funding from the main budget bill.
Naturally, those who live to see Israel wiped off the face of the Earth didn’t take it well as scenes of lunacy were presented on the floor.
Here’s a taste of that before we get to the weirdest reaction of the day.

Elon Musk mocked President Joe Biden to explain why the president never acknowledged the completion of a historic SpaceX mission over the weekend.
“He’s still sleeping,” Musk tweeted regarding Biden’s silence Sunday.
On Saturday, SpaceX completed the first-ever civilian mission into outer space, the company announced. The four-person civilian crew orbited Earth on the Dragon spaceship for three days before returning and splashing down safely off the coast of Florida.
The Dragon and its crew orbited at a distance of 575 km from Earth, which is more than 150 km further into space than the International Space Station (ISS), SpaceX said.

In a possible sign that the Biden administration’s weak-kneed approach to projecting American military strength is already bearing fruit, there’s breaking news out of North Korea today.
According to the Associated Press:
North Korea says it successfully test fired what it described as newly developed long-range cruise missiles over the weekend, its first known testing activity in months that underscored how it continues to expand its military capabilities amid a stalemate in nuclear negotiations with the United States.

Knuckling under to pressure by Democrat activist Stacey Abrams, Georgia Sec. of State Brad Raffensperger and the State Election Board passed an emergency rule to allow the widespread use of unsupervised ballot drop boxes for the 2020 election.
Under Georgia law, only the voter or his or her legal representative is allowed to deposit ballots in drop boxes. Part of the emergency rule allowing drop boxes required 24/7 video surveillance of each drop box location.

Sometimes you see something related to politics that is just so perfect it has to be shared. A USA Today fact-check that dropped yesterday is one of those things, and keep reading because it’ll become very obvious why in a moment.
Daniel Funke, who describes himself as “checking facts + covering misinfo” on Twitter decided to take on those who said that Joe Biden checked his watch during the dignified transfer of the 13 US servicemembers last week. That tragedy occurred at the hands of an ISIS suicide bomber after the Biden administration outsourced security to the Taliban.

While President Joe Biden’s scripted speech on the deteriorating situation in Afghanistan left people wondering just who exactly is in charge of things, one thing also made crystal clear today is that the Biden State Department doesn’t have their act together, either.
During their daily press briefing, State Dept. spokesman Ned Price, who is already on record as not being the sharpest tool in the shed, proceeded to confirm that the United States was in agreement with the United Nations Security Council’s official statement on Afghanistan which, in part, called on

Two women pleaded guilty to hate crimes and theft Monday nearly a year after Trump supporters were violently confronted and had their political gear stolen in Delaware.
Police arrested Olivia Winslow and Camryn Amy after viral footage showed the defendants tearing a Trump supporter’s sign and grabbing a “Make America Great Again” hat. The two women pleaded guilty to misdemeanor charges of theft, hate crimes and child endangerment, the Delaware News Journal reported Wednesday.

How much do Americans hate the defund the police movement?
Well, you knew it had to be a lot when Democrats like Joe Biden and Jen Psaki tried to claim that the move to defund police was really a Republican thing, despite the evidence of our own eyes and the facts over the past year. But now the Harvard CAPS-Harris poll has put a number on it and it’s pretty big. Let’s just say it’s hard to get a number like this on anything, that’s how much people hate it. Now we can see why the Democrats were so desperate to run away from it, but it’s too late.

Remember Alexander Vindman? He’s the guy who thought he got to dictate what foreign policy was and not the President. He disagreed with what was said in a phone call between President Donald Trump and the Ukrainian president. What he should have done was resign, if he disagreed. Instead, he went all resistance and tried to do in Trump. But ultimately, that gambit failed — like so many other gambits to get Trump failed. But Vindman is still trying to sell himself as somehow an important person. It’s really rather sad, how desperate he is for relevance.

Ron DeSantis is going to be a fantastic president.
