Uncertainty on several fronts delivered Wall Street its largest losses in months amid a broad fall in global stocks. Investors fretted over the implications and financial contagion of the potential failure of China’s Evergrande property group. A looming Federal Reserve policy meeting, Congressional budget and debt ceiling wrangling in Washington, and stretched stock valuations all contributed to a sense of uncertainty in markets.

Alleged wealthy Chinese affected by Evergrande's potential bankruptcy will start liquidating their investments in the U.S.A. Anticipating real estate fire sales in the coming months. Wish I had cash and good credit ratings.

Evergrande was issuing debt that paid high interest rates. I guarantee that U.S. financial institutions (among others) bought it. A failure will ripple through various institutions throughout the world.

Let me start by acknowledging the legitimate skepticism of many Gateway Pundit commentators that any justice will come out of John Durham’s work. You have been promised the moon in the past and instead received a flaming bag of dog poop. But let’s accept the fact that yesterday’s news that DNC lawyer Michael Sussmann was going to be indicted turned out to be true. Charlie Brown got to kick the football this time. Durham’s indictment of Sussmann lays out the foundation of a conspiracy.

French radio network RTL revealed the woman was arrested this morning and is now being held in police custody in Landerneau, a small town in Brittany where the 122-mile first stage from Brest ended on Saturday. It remains unclear if the woman handed herself in to police after prosecutors begged the public to help track her down. She is accused of involuntarily causing injury and faces a fine of 1,500 euros.

When Fulton County, Ga., poll manager Suzi Voyles sorted through a large stack of mail-in ballots last November, she noticed an alarmingly odd pattern of uniformity in the markings for Joseph R. Biden. One after another, the absentee votes contained perfectly filled-in ovals for Biden — except that each of the darkened bubbles featured an identical white void inside them in the shape of a tiny crescent, indicating they’d been marked with toner ink instead of a pen or pencil. CORRECTION*

A new analysis of President Joe Biden’s downward-trending approval ratings finds that his Democratic Party could hemorrhage as many as 41 seats in the House during next year’s midterm elections, or close to as many as then-President Donald Trump’s GOP lost in 2018.Glen Bolger of Public Opinion Strategies told the Washington Examiner that it is not difficult to tie presidential polling to election outcomes and because Biden’s approval rating continues to decline, he believes the president’s party will lose close to the 41 seats lost during Trump’s midterm, or 34 more than the GOP needs to regain control of the chamber. This, before states have even redrawn their congressional districts

They don’t? All this time I’ve been operating on the assumption that the reason they come to the border is because they do intend to stay .Forever, if they can.(Tweet/Video) What Psaki means is that migrants who surrender to the Border Patrol and apply for asylum can, in some circumstances, be summarily expelled under the CDC’s Title 42 pandemic authority. You file your asylum application and then you’re either repatriated or told to get comfortable in Mexico while you await a ruling. Ideally.

But human beings should never be treated that way, and I’m deeply troubled about it," she said.

After requesting proof of Trump’s fraud claims, Graham received a collection of memos on January 4 from lawyer Rudy Giuliani entitled “Voting Irregularities, Impossibilities, and Illegalities in the 2020 General Election.” The memos alleged various irregularities in voting in swing states, such as hundreds of dead people voting in Georgia and 12,000 “overvotes” in Arizona, when voters select more than the maximum number of choices on a ballot.

More than 500 current and former female athletes have urged the Supreme Court to reject a Mississippi law that would ban abortions after 15 weeks of pregnancy. The Biden administration has also backed Jackson Women's Health Organization, the only abortion clinic in Mississippi, in its fight over the state's attempted ban. The legislation is at odds with the landmark 1973 Roe v. Wade decision which granted women's rights to access abortion with limited government interference. On December 1, the Supreme Court will hear oral arguments in the case against the ban, titled Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization.
