If you're vaccinated and looking for a smooch, now might be the time to visit Oregon.
The Oregon Health Authority (OHA) on Wednesday revised its position on safe-dating practices during the COVID-19 pandemic and now says it is OK to get intimate with your date--as long as you've both been vaccinated.
"If you're both vaccinated and taking COVID-19 precautions, intimacy is likely to be safe," OHA wrote on Facebook.
It was a striking change to the beginning of the pandemic last year when OHA released previous advice for daters in the time of COVID-19.
"You are your safest sex partner," OHA wrote at the time. "Kissing can easily pass COVID-19.

Costco is implementing new consumer limitations on purchases of household essentials including toilet paper, paper towels, and Kirkland bottled water as the company has seen an increase in demand due to a surge in the delta variant and supply-chain complications.
Costco has been dealing with significant issues centered around supply-chain complications and inflation according to the company’s Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Richard A. Galanti. Galanti informed analysts of the issues during a conference call, transcribed by Alpha Street, regarding Costco’s fourth-quarter earnings on September 23:
From a supply chain perspective, the factors pressuring supply chains and inflation include port delays, container shortages, COVID disruptions,

The Hunter Biden e-mail coverup may not be the most contemptible example of the modern political media’s corruption, but it is probably the most demonstrable.
Politico reports that Ben Schreckinger’s new book, “The Bidens: Inside the First Family’s Fifty-Year Rise to Power,” corroborates much of the New York Post’s pre-election reporting on Hunter Biden’s e-mails. Two of them stick out: The first is a 2015 missive from a Ukrainian businessman thanking Hunter for the chance to meet Joe Biden — then, still vice president. The second is a 2017 e-mail in which a proposed equity breakdown of a venture with Chinese energy executives included the line,

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi plans a vote soon to push Sen. Bernie Sanders’ $3.5 trillion socialist dream budget one step closer to law.
The news grows worse from there.
Every other detail about this onerous legislation merits scorn, revulsion and rejection.
The Build Back Better budget resolution boasts a $3.5 trillion price tag. Taxpayers should be so lucky.
This figure assumes that several key initiatives, including the child tax credit, will expire in three to five years. Since government programs are virtually immortal, this is not wishful thinking. It’s pure fantasy.
Reasonably assuming that these programs grind on for 10 years swells the budget’s true price to $5.5 trillion.

Why are the governor and mayor of New York taking a meeting at the World Trade Center with the Two Megxiteers? Harry and Meghan threw away their royal obligations as vigorously as John Kerry threw away his Vietnam War service ribbons. I say we treat them like any other tourists. These people are entitled to no more bowing and scraping than the Kansas City Royals.
Meghan’s brand — California New-Age I’m-Still-on-a-Journey-of-Self-Discovery-in-Middle-Age — and Harry’s palace-born entitlement have intermingled to create the most appalling British-American monster since Madonna’s “Madge” period. At least Madge didn’t mumble about climate change and global poverty, though.

Derek Chauvin plans to appeal his conviction and sentence for the murder of George Floyd — arguing the judge abused his discretion in critical points in the case, according to documents filed Thursday.
The former Minneapolis police officer said in the court filing that he intends to appeal on 14 grounds.
One claim made by Chauvin in the notice to appeal is that Judge Peter Cahill abused his discretion by denying him a request to move the trial out of Hennepin County because of pretrial publicity.
Chauvin, 45, also claimed Cahill abused his discretion when he denied requests to postpone the trial or grant a new one —

This is the moment a hangry Chipotle customer whips out a gun and shouts, “Somebody better give me my food!” after being told the restaurant is closing soon.
Surveillance video, released by police Wednesday, shows the woman threatening a cashier at a Chipotle in the Roosevelt Mall in Philadelphia last Saturday night.
Police said the unidentified woman was waiting in line to order just before 5 p.m. when the manager announced the store was closing soon.
The manager said all remaining customers had to place their orders online because the restaurant was short on staff.
The footage shows the woman slowly pulling out a black handgun from her bag

Jonathan Mellis, a detainee from January 6th, wrote us from solitary confinement last week.
Mellis has been detained without bond since his arrest in February. In May, U.S. District Judge Emmet Sullivan denied his request to be released from custody for a week so he could attend his father’s funeral.
Here is the direct letter from Jonathan Mellis addressing the American people:
“My name in Jonathan Mellis. I am a January 6 Capitol detainee being held in the DC jail. In the last 7 months I have experienced and witnessed the most inhumane and hateful treatment of my 34 years of life.

The only way the FBI would arrest Hunter Biden is if he took selfies in the Capitol on January 6.
Business Insider recently reported that it acquired two emails (not from the infamous Hunter laptop email chain) from an associate of Hunter Biden, showing that Hunter wanted $2 million a year to free up $15 billion worth of Libyan assets that had been frozen by Obama. The first email is from January 2015, when Joe Biden was vice president.
Per phone conversation I met with #2 son. He wants $2 per year retainer +++ success fees. He wants to hire his own people –

A new report from the National Alliance for Public Charter Schools shows what a great advertisement American Federation of Teachers (AFT) President Randi Weingarten and her more radical members provided for school choice. After more than a year of school closures, Zoom classes, and battles over critical race theory, parents are increasingly taking their children out of public schools. The study looked at enrollment shifts between the 2019-2020 and 2020-2021 school years.
Their analysis shows that 1.45 million children left traditional public schools. Charter schools gained 237,000 students in the same period. The difference is made up by families choosing private schools or homeschooling

There’s something so satisfying about seeing liberals in a sissy slap fight with other liberals – you just want to grab up a bowl of popcorn, pop some frosty brews, and egg them on. The good news is that there’s going to be more of this coming because of the nature of the Democrat coalition – it is less an ideological alliance than a bunch of interest groups united by their shared perception that the GOP is against what is in their respective interests. When their interests collide, which they will necessarily do, then the fun begins.
Look at Washington, where the caucus kept in line by the Scat Francisco dominatrix

How many crises can arise under the watch of President Dementia? The border is out of control. Inflation is rising. Job creation is grinding to a halt. Our allies are infuriated over our Afghanistan exit. France has recalled its ambassador over a disagreement in a US-UK-Australia defense pact. And now, we’re about to run out of money. On September 30, the government’s operating budget expires. On top of that, we need to raise the debt ceiling as well. On that issue, we’ve been heading in this direction for weeks. We failed to raise the debt limit during the summer. We’ve been in what the Treasury calls “extraordinary measures”
