States Gear Up for Legal Fight Over Vaccine Mandate

Nearly all Republican-led states have voiced opposition to the vaccine mandate announced by President Joe Biden last week. Many of them have vowed to fight the mandate in court, but held back on voicing specific legal strategies as details of the Biden administration’s policy remain unknown. The mandate would require businesses with more than 100 employees to have staff either vaccinated against COVID-19 or be tested weekly for the disease. It would be put in place through the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), according to Biden. Governors and attorneys general in at least 27 states, all Republicans, made comments in opposition to the mandate.

Doubt this "mandate" will survive these challenges, but I put nothing past this country any more. Likely they threw this out there to get Afghanistan off the news.

FTA: "They all generally support vaccinations and some of them even support vaccine mandates in private businesses." No "private business" should be allowed to force the shot, considering especially that larger businesses can be encouraged to do so in exchange for favors from the government. Can we instead just write regular checks to Pfizer, as in the papal indulgences of yore?

One of my siblings works for a company that does business with private individuals, the state and the federal government. He is adamant he will not take the vaccine. If I know him, he'll do daily testing rather than vax if it comes to that.

Last night on Newmax a guest made the statement the new war and weapon of the left is Covid-19. It's the weapon the left will use to ensnare all of us into submission by them. It worked in the California recall for Newsome for the homelessness it's about the China flu.

The carve-outs for select groups should be the only proof needed that the mandates are illegal. If the vaccine is the thing that will stop the scamdemic once and for all, no one would be exempt!

The headline stories today are large, and so is the background as these issues surface. Context becomes increasingly important as each aspect is reviewed. As you look at the stories, remember this context (emphasized as a reminder):(snip)Factually, President Trump’s strategic approach toward foreign threats and foreign intervention (through the use of geopolitical economic pressure) was a major paradigm shift that removed the Defense Department from a primary role, and placed them back into a more appropriate ‘contingency’ role when it came to foreign policy and national security. It was obvious from the outset of the Trump administration that the Pentagon did not like that position.

On September 9th, President Joe Biden made the announcement that all employers with more than 100 employees would be required to enforce a worker vaccine mandate.(snip)Focusing on #3, the big one. The only material from the White House on the BIG CONTROVERSIAL national worker mandate is a small paragraph on the WH COVID PLAN section: (image)… That’s it folks. Almost a week later, and that’s the sum total of everything about the biggest economic and workforce disruption in the history of the nation. That one paragraph posted on September 10th. Why is this important? Well, the U.S. Department of Labor website has ZERO mentions of this national mandate.

The immunity conferred by recovering from COVID-19 is better than the protection afforded by COVID-19 vaccines, a prominent vaccine inventor says, citing in part a recent study from Israel. Republicans on the House Judiciary Committee strictly oppose the immigration reform measures in the committee’s portion of the Democrats’ $3.5 trillion budget resolution package because they say the bill grants amnesty to nearly 8 million illegal immigrants and encourages more people to flood the southern border. “June was the highest month on record until July when 212,000 enforcement encounters took place; my guess is August will be higher yet. So, what are Democrats focused on in this legislation? Putting amnesty in a bill for—approximately 8 million illegal immigrants—in a bill that spends $3.5 trillion,” Jordan said in his opening statement to the House Judiciary Committee hearing Monday.

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Despite warnings the race would be close, California Gov. Gavin Newsom decisively defeated efforts to kick him out of office, a win the Democrat cast as an endorsement of his handling of the coronavirus pandemic and his party’s liberal values. Newsom cruised to victory in the recall election Tuesday, boosted by healthy turnout among an overwhelmingly Democratic electorate, ensuring the nation’s most populous state will remain a laboratory for progressive policies. With an estimated two-thirds of ballots counted, the “no” response to the question of whether to recall Newsom was ahead by a 30-point margin.
