Dr. Scott Atlas: Science Killed Itself
Over COVID-19

Original Article

Posted By: Judy W., 9/1/2021 6:21:34 PM

Since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, the American people have been told to “follow the science.” Yet for a year and a half, they’ve heard contradicting messages from self-appointed prophets of “the science” like Dr. Anthony Fauci and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). We learned that politicians who claimed their decisions were science-driven often ignored scientific findings that didn’t fit certain political narratives. We discovered that scientists are fallible human beings, and some would let personal interests and political views cloud their judgment. Is science itself one of the victims of the COVID-19 pandemic? I asked Dr. Scott Atlas at the 13th annual Freedom Conference

Comments:

It was gutsy of Dr. Atlas to go to work for President Trump. I'm going to get his book about it.

I disagree. Science officially stopped being science and became a cult when they starting whoring for climate change dollars. Reach the conclusion, and then manipulate the data to support it. Hockey stick graph, anyone?

If only President Trump hadn't been surrounded by the "experts" that we now know are responsible for this pandemic morphing into a permanent state of increased government control. Imagine how it would have turned out if instead of Fauci at his side, Dr. Atlas's wisdom and calmness had guided the government's response to this virus.

We never surrendered our health decisions. The authorities declared an emergency and are using the military, the police, businesses, and paying influencers to make our health decisions, and taking our jobs, refusing us service. I hope all those that did this hang for it.

The fraud of MMGW has been damaging the credibility of scientists for decades. This second massive fraud, which is literally killing tens of thousands of people by fraudulently denying that there are good treatments for the Wuhan virus is seriously damaging their credibility, taking it even lower than it already was.

The largest financial contributor to the FDA and the CDC is the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Follow the science? No, always follow the money. Always. We need doctors and lawyers to step up to the plate NOW.

Science changes all the time. It is not a good policy to believe anything science says because it will change soon, as soon as someone comes up with enough motive and sufficient money to change it. I find faith to be much more consistent and accurate.

Public education strikes again. Science is about falsification not proof. I propose a theory based on some experiments and the scientific community does it very best to disprove the theory. If they can’t disprove it, the theory is accepted as possible, not proven. That is not what happens today in the public square. I don’t know what real scientists think but funding can warp many people.

The great Ivermectin deworming hoax 2 replies

"In a normal year, the Kentucky Poison Control Center might receive one call from someone who has taken ivermectin, a drug commonly used to treat parasites in livestock. But amid increasing misinformation about the drug’s ability to both treat and prevent COVID-19, that number has increased to six this year." This alarming news was published in Spectrum News - formerly known as Time Warner Cable - on August 24, 2021, and should be a lesson to every American. https://spectrumnews1.com/ky/louisville/news/2021/08/24/ivermectin-calls-to-kentucky-poison-control-are-up The lesson is not about Ivermectin being poisonous because it isn't, but about the pervasiveness of a type of new internet propaganda termed "informational flooding.”

The Wall Street Journal has a long feature up today on the fact that in larger and larger numbers men have decided not to go to college. But despite its length and depth, the story is too chicken to investigate what may be the leading cause of this trend. Let’s take in some excerpts: Men are abandoning higher education in such numbers that they now trail female college students by record levels. (Snip) But the really interesting detail is conveyed in this bit: Enrollment rates for poor and working-class white men are lower than those of young Black, Latino and Asian men from the same economic backgrounds. .

After demonizing nearly every medication with the potential to reduce the severity of COVID-19 symptoms, the National Institutes of Health (NIH) finally recommended monoclonal antibodies earlier this summer. Before the official recommendation, some providers used them under an emergency use authorization (EUA) granted by the FDA in November 2020. The FDA just granted an EUA to allow their use for SARS-CoV-2 post-exposure and ongoing prophylaxis. This approval will increase demand. (Snip) Once Florida Governor Ron DeSantis decided to promote outpatient treatment using the antibodies and establish infusion centers, the media reacted because he is a very dangerous Republican.

The Texas Legislature passed the state’s election reform package, SB 1, designed to protect voters by fixing vulnerabilities in the registration and election system. This happened only when Democrats finally returned to the state after fleeing to the nation’s capital in May to avoid the special session called by Gov. Greg Abbott. This bill’s biased coverage reflects how much the media relies on the propaganda circulated by the left that labeled the new law as “restrictive,” without questioning it. The New York Times even claimed that Texas is now one of the “most difficult places” in the United States to cast a vote, which is factually simply wrong.

Denyse O'Leary, whom I always read with great interest in our Comments section, chides me for diagnosing our present woes but not proposing solutions. That ought to be easy. In Afghanistan what needed to be done is almost as old as man. As Victor David Hanson pointed out to Tucker, "This is the greatest loss of military equipment in the history of warfare by one power." He's right. Because US government is so drunkenly profligate, the numbers sound blah-blah to jaded American ears. But $85-90 billion is larger than the annual military budget for every nation around the world except the US and China.

This sign of American decadence and stupidity in Afghanistan cannot be improved on. The Spectator columnist Cockburn reports on America’s attempt to turn a nation of medieval goat herders and Islamic hillbillies into penis-possessors and vulva-havers suitable for campus life at some of America’s more elite colleges. Excerpts: So, alongside the billions for bombs went hundreds of millions for gender studies in Afghanistan. According to US government reports, $787 million was spent on gender programs in Afghanistan, but that substantially understates the actual total, since gender goals were folded into practically every undertaking America made in the country.

The reporting on Biden's retreat in Afghanistan is fascinating because probably for the first time since the Clinton administration, the media was providing fairly accurate coverage of a disaster by a Democrat president. Or at least parts of the media were doing their actual job. “The average reporter we talk to is 27 years old, and their only reporting experience consists of being around political campaigns,” Ben Rhodes had famously gloated to the New York Times. (Snip) But the rout in Kabul plugged in foreign correspondents, some of whom are pathetically ignorant, but some who were doing this for a long time, who held prestige positions reporting from abroad, and actually did

How does a leader decide what to do? The most logical response is: “Cui bono?”—”Who benefits?”—from the decision. If some policy benefits your country most, you should, within moral bounds, pursue it. If your enemies benefit most, you should avoid it. I’d be curious to learn what answer proponents of America leaving Afghanistan—conservative or liberal—would give to the question, “Cui bono?” I can say that until this moment, I have not read or heard a single cogent argument from proponents of American withdrawal as to how exactly it benefits America.

California’s gubernatorial recall election is officially September 14, but “Election Day” has ceased to have any meaning, Mail-in ballots were automatically sent to every registered voter on August 16. Return postage is “free,” pre-paid by California taxpayers. The registration deadline was August 30, but you can still register to vote “conditionally” and cast your vote immediately, right up to and including on the 14th. Mail ballots do not have to be received by “Election Day.” Ballots received up through September 21, a week after the election, will still count. Which gives the people in power plenty of time to correct any “mistakes”

This Sept. 11, a diminished president will preside over a diminished nation. [Snip] Joe Biden was supposed to be the man of the hour: a calming presence exuding decency, moderation and trust. Since February 2020, the wizened Fauci has been the face of the government’s response to the pandemic. In the ensuing 20 months, Fauci was frequently wrong, incredibly arrogant, and deeply dishonest. Jeb Bush has returned to brighten your Labor Day weekend with a message: It’s time for Republicans to take “action” on climate change. Yes, with everything that’s going on right now, including the country being led off a cliff by Joe Biden, 2016’s low-energy candidate has his finger on the pulse. Inflation, American hostages in Afghanistan, the border crisis, etc. pale in comparison to the urgent need to tax carbon and spend more money we don’t have on useless green energy projects. But it’s not just the message that’s dumb. It’s also the presentation.
