Monica Lewinsky has opened up about the pain and embarrassment she felt while watching her affair with former President Bill Clinton come to life on the small screen for a new drama series that tracks the circumstances of their relationship - and the sensational scandal that it caused. The 48-year-old, who served as a producer for Impeachment: American Crime Story, confessed that - despite willingly signing on to help with the creation of the show - she found it incredibly difficult to watch 'some of the worst moments of her life' be dredged up for the whole world to see.

She was an executive Producer on this project. If it's so difficult for her, perhaps she shouldn't have endeavored to get it made so she can profit from it.

She wants the money or she would move on. She is not easily embarrassed.

Dredged.
Which means they went digging in places that should have been left to rot in the dustbin of history.
Which means Monica should have become less than a footnote as well. She's getting a thrill out of the attention. Do we really have to clutter up the timeline with blather from her?
Blech. How boring is she?

Friggin' spare me. She made lots of money doing it. You made the choice to blow Bent Bill 30 years ago - get over it and yourself.
Skankwad.

Public confession may be good for the soul but it isn't in the short term good for the psyche. To this day I am amazed that the feminist crowd threw Lewinsky under the bus when SHE was the victim of a predator boss.

This woman will always be known for one thing and one thing only -- letting herself be used by the president for cheap sexual thrills -- cigar anyone?!?!?!?
That's it. Nothing more. So she is going to make sure that her "15 minutes of fame" lasts and lasts and lasts.
Seriously, if she didn't want to deal with the embarrassment of reliving this over and over and over again (always willingly to get her face in the public again and again and again), she would have long ago faded away. But the fact that she is making money as producer of this swill, along with getting to live our her infamy once again, makes her words of "embarrassment" ring hollow!!!!

I was going to pass on this piece of 'entertainment'. But then, while watching the promo for "Impeachment" I saw a lamp flying though the air. I'm all in now.

Here’s a pop quiz: knowing that Monica Lewinsky will profit from a movie made of her adulterous affair with Bill Clinton and that the more viewers the greater her personal financial gain would she: a.) say there’s no sense dredging up an affair from 25 years ago but go ahead and watch it if you want to b.) say the movie is a snooze and struck no emotional chord even with her or c.) claim that the movie turned her into an embarrassment-ridden mess of tears and Kleenex who now needs Prozac ASAP.

Appears to be pretty upbeat in the video interview. Wish I was that happy. Maybe I need therapy, too.

No way to be sufficiently verbose to cover the possible motives and potential consequences of this project. But even just one line or phrase is already tedious overkill. This scandal jumped the shark years ago, and I'm loath to revive the topic. Bless yer heart, Monica. Please just live your private life now.

Its interesting to see that this reckless act by President Bill Clinton so many years ago is still tantalizing enough to draw video voyeurs. With all the damage that Clinton did to the stature of the Presidency not to mention the selling of American industry to China this is what media types think is worth remembering. Its really true, sex sells and in the end you get the government you deserve.

She didn't seem too embarrassed years ago. She still thought Bill was innocent, and probably still thinks so today. She never realized Linda Tripp saved her life by telling her to save that dress. If she hadn't kept it, she would have either been arkancided or thrown in the looney bin by Clinton opperatives.

Correction ... she needs a lot more therapy to deal with the fact that nobody particularly gives a rodent's arse about Monica Lewinsky.

Here's a thought - What if the next Nathan's hot dog eating contest had Kamala Harris and Monica Lewinski as contestants? Who would win? Would a new hot dog eating record be set?

Monica, you are much more attractive than HRC. However, BJC will never leave HRC for you or any other female.
Your purpose in BJC's life was to be used, abused and refused.
Thanks for the movie. It's a great lesson for the young people who did not know what happened in the 90's.
