Najia was at home with her three young sons and daughter in a small village in northern Afghanistan when Taliban fighters knocked on their door.
Najia's daughter Manizha, 25, knew they were coming -- her mother had told her they'd done the same thing the previous three days, demanding that she cook food for up to 15 fighters.
"My mother told them, 'I am poor, how can I cook for you?'" said Manizha. "(The Taliban) started beating her. My mother collapsed, and they hit her with their guns -- AK47s."
Manizha said she yelled at the fighters to stop. They paused for a moment before throwing a grenade into the next room and

There is much more in this article about how the retaking of Afghanistan by the Taliban is already negatively affecting and will continue to affect Afghan women. We know there are American men who don’t value women very much, but I would hope none of them would ever go to these extremes...

Jill Biden must be proud of her brain dead hubby. Jill might want to start an online cooking class for Afghan women cooking for the Taliban.

Never say never, #1. There are urban parts of America that rival Kabul for depravity. Another gift from the Democraps and their feral pets and imported barbarians.
We get a nice mix, here.

It may be a tad cruel - - but this is what happens when you don't use organic chickpeas to make the hummus.

We had 20 years to kill our enemies, but our rules of engagement don't allow our soldiers to fire, so our enemies will always win eventually.

Exactly, # 6. I’m not for brutal executions— we don’t need to compete with the terrorists— but most if not all of the Girmo prisoners should have long ago been executed.

Just wondering where Michelle, the Hollywood Divas, Jill and NOW are now...
Waiting for Michelle's hashtag campaign like she did after the girls were taken hostage in some God forsaken country in Africa. Worked well!

I'm telling you, our mistake was in not arming and training the women. They would fight for their freedom, the men? Not so much.

At the minimum, #11, I never take anything from CNN at face value. There was a stretch of time when everything I saw from CNN was either completely fabricated or virtually so, by the magnitude of their spin. So I permanently relegated them to the list of untrustworthy sources.

Who helped put Biden in power? CNN certainly did its part. Now it wants to bemoan the death of those who suffer at the hands of the Taliban. Biden caused this all to happen. The blood is on his hands and has splashed onto his torchbearers like CNN.

They did say that they "changed" from last time they were in charge. This time they knocked on the door before they barged in and killed the woman. Before they would have just killed her.

The Taliban are not a single entity. They are a collection of warlords and factions. Some will act civilzed, others will not.

#16 is underinformed about the Taliban.
The Taliban, or "students" in the Pashto language, emerged in the early 1990s in northern Pakistan following the withdrawal of Soviet troops from Afghanistan. It is believed that the predominantly Pashtun movement first appeared in religious seminaries - mostly paid for by money from Saudi Arabia - which preached a hardline form of Sunni Islam.
The promise made by the Taliban - in Pashtun areas straddling Pakistan and Afghanistan - was to restore peace and security and enforce their own austere version of Sharia, or Islamic law, once in power.(snip)
the Taliban also introduced or supported punishments in line with their strict interpretation of Sharia law - such as public executions of convicted murderers and adulterers, and amputations for those found guilty of theft. Men were required to grow beards and women had to wear the all-covering burka.
The Taliban also banned television, music and cinema, and disapproved of girls aged 10 and over going to school. They were accused of various human rights and cultural abuses. One notorious example was in 2001, when the Taliban went ahead with the destruction of the famous Bamiyan Buddha statues in central Afghanistan, despite international outrage.

I just had a stroke of genius hit me. Why don’t the doubters who don’t like anything from NR, CNN, etc., etc., start posting. One primary complainer almost never posts an article. Just sits back and shoots arrows. Give it a thought. You know who you are.
Complaining about the source is a cop-out. Keeps the complainer from having to express an opinion on the content while they don’t go and look for another article on the same story or one that refutes it. OMG. That is too much work!
