Well, he ended it didn't he. He can have part of Hirohito's surrender speech put up on the teleprompter which reads "...the war situation has developed not necessarily to America's advantage, while the general trends of the world have all turned against her interest..." (That's substituting America's for Japan's).

Xiden, his entire cabinet, the top brass at the Pentagon, and the Congress should all be sent to the gallows for this outrage. I am sure I missed some equally worthy of the rope, but you get the idea.

Conservative pundit Matt Walsh, host of the “Matt Walsh Show” podcast, made a generous offer to Teen Vogue that apparently threw the liberal magazine for a loop.Teen Vogue is little more than a sleaze outfit that makes for a useful indoctrination platform to disseminate progressive doctrine among American teens, so when the magazine’s politics editor tweeted that she was looking for people “to write sharp, timely op-eds on U.S. politics,” Walsh replied, “I’m your huckleberry.”Well, Walsh didn’t exactly say that, but surely that was his intent when, out of the goodness of his heart, he volunteered

I’ve been giving a lot of thought to what went wrong in Afghanistan, where we went failed as a nation — and where I made mistakes as an officer. No. 1 was going to Iraq. Like many, I backed that invasion. But in retrospect, it distracted our forces for a war that had nothing to do with 9/11. We should have stayed focused on Afghanistan. In Afghanistan, meanwhile, one of our biggest mistakes was with the Afghan army. And I was part of the problem. We built an army that was similar to Western armies, which are designed to employ overwhelming firepower

Washington— House Democrats passed legislation Tuesday that would strengthen a landmark civil rights-era voting law weakened by the Supreme Court over the past decade, a step party leaders tout as progress in their quest to fight back against voting restrictions advanced in Republican-led states. The bill, which is part of a broader Democratic effort to enact a sweeping overhaul of elections, was approved on a 219-212 vote, with no Republican support. Its passage was praised by President Joe Biden, who said it would protect a “sacred right” and called on the Senate to “send this important bill to my desk.”But the measure faces dim prospects in that chamber,

By now the American people understand that Joe Biden’s record of 40 years of bad foreign policy decisions is unbroken. The devastating bugout in Afghanistan is testament to that. I know mothers who more meticulously planned kiddie parties than Biden’s military and State Department “experts” “planned” this humiliating and oath-breaking debacle. The president stammers his way through the few questions he takes on the matter. His planned speeches are not much better. Finally, however, someone has done for Biden what his own military planners and speech writers failed to do.

President Joe Biden’s administration is planning to bring about 50,000 Afghans to the United States who do not have visas and who have not completed their immigration processing.According to three officials who spoke to Bloomberg News, Biden will use the little-known “humanitarian parole” tool to bring roughly 50,000 Afghans to the U.S. The plan is a last-minute effort to bring as many Afghans to the U.S. as possible, as this group does not have Special Immigrant Visas (SIVs), P-2 visas, or refugee status.Instead, Afghans on humanitarian parole will arrive in the U.S. without having first secured visas and completing their immigration processing.

The U.S. Capitol Police officer who fatally shot Ashli Babbitt on Jan. 6 during the insurrection was cleared Monday after an internal review concluded the action may have spared the lives of lawmakers and staffers who had barricaded themselves inside the building. "The officer’s actions were consistent with the officer’s training and (U.S. Capitol Police) policies," the agency's inquiry found. The agency declined to identify the officer. Federal prosecutors decided in April not to pursue criminal charges in the case. Some who supported the Capitol siege by rioters angry about the outcome of the presidential election cast Babbitt as a martyr to the conservative cause.

Fifty-one percent of the respondents said Biden is not competent in his position as president. This is compared to only 49 percent who said he is. Additionally, the poll found that 52 percent of the respondents did not feel the president has been focused. The poll was taken during and after the fall of the now-Taliban-controlled Kabul, Afghanistan, when Biden botched the U.S. troops’ withdrawal from the country. With that, 53 percent of the respondents said they disagree with the way Biden withdrew the troops.

President Joe Biden hailed the FDA's approval of the Pfizer vaccine as the 'moment you’ve all been waiting'–as he urged Americans who have been sitting on the fence to get their vaccine shots 'today' but dodged comment on Afghanistan. It was a welcome moment of good news for an administration battered by weeks of negative headlines, from spiking cases of COVID-19 to the collapse of the Afghan government and plunging poll numbers. And Biden, speaking at the White House, portrayed it as a huge victory even though it will be of limited practical value months after the vaccination received emergency approval.

During remarks on Friday, Biden said the United States no longer has any interest in keeping troops in Afghanistan because al-Qaida, which was behind the 9/11 attacks, is gone. “What interest do we have in Afghanistan at this point with al-Qaida gone?” Biden said. "We went to Afghanistan for the express purpose of getting rid of al-Qaida in Afghanistan, as well as... getting Osama bin Laden. And we did."
