I live in the Chicago media market and seeing Cardinal Cupich on TV so often gets really demoralizing for me and my fellow Catholics. He is a dyed-in-the-wool lefty handpicked by Pope Plastic Straws. Play this hypothetical game. You are getting married soon and have to choose who performs the ceremony. A. Cardinal Cupich at Holy Name Cathedral - with the greatest choir and all the smells and bells. B. Tacky Las Vegas Wedding Chapel with a mail-order pastor wearing an Elvis outfit ? I feel sorry for so many great priests that have to work for this guy. Liberals have a real tyrannical streak in them.

I don't live in Chicago but Wifey left her particular Catholic parish because it became so liberal. I gave up on them after 12 years of Catholic School, and that was 'a while' ago!

Tragically, Cardinal Cupidity wields enormous influence. Fr. Altman was fired by a neighboring Bishop disciple of Cupich.

The entire city of Chicago and its archdiocese needs to be exorcised following the reign of predator and Satanic Bernardin. Cupich is an evil man. Fellow Catholics, find a Traditional Latin Mass. If Pope Francis the Destroyer hates it, you know it has Power.

I left the church last year when they canceled Easter, but that was just the last straw. The communist pope is the main reason and that started when he decide to wash the feet of Muslims on Holy Thursday. He’s lucky that one of them didn’t behead him while he was giving them a foot massage. If they could blow up the Vatican they would. If the next pope (if there is one) is more conservative, I might go back. And I will not receive any jab which was developed with the tissue of murdered babies.

If the cardinal wants to promote the jab, he should just have the news record him receiving it, while speaking for himself in favor of it. No need to get tyrannical and force the bishops to vote in favor of some kind of ethics decision on the matter. The Catholics' ethical purity is in freefall anyhow--see Nancy Pelosi and Joey Biden calling themselves faithful Catholics and receiving the eucharist.

This is simply wrong. I will not receive the vaccine because ALL of these "vaccine's" are tainted by abortion, whether the fetal cells are actually in the shot or were used in testing, there is no way that I can rationalize that it is okay. I will not "save" myself at the expense of the innocent. To read things like this, coming from a Cardinal, is appalling. I know Cupich is one of the bad ones, as was Bernadin before him. Pope Francis has offered his "opinion" that we can call these shots licit but they KNOW that is an abomination before God. We, as Catholic's, are not obliged to follow a Pope's personal opinion's. The religious exemption for Catholics and the shot is a legitimate one. All a person needs is a letter confirming that (If an employer or school insists on one) can be granted after your pastor writes a letter confirming that you decision is based on Catholic teaching, an a no-brainer for even the most irreligious. However...I read yesterday that the Archdiocese of New York has FORBIDDEN all priests and pastors from writing such a letter. I'm assuming that this come from Cardinal Dolan although he was not mentioned by name in the article...he is the boss. Two blows for me on that one, betrayed by a Cardinal and an Irishman.

Sorry for the second post but...for anyone longing for the traditional Latin Mass as well as beautiful Music and Holy Day liturgies visit St. John Cantius Parish in Chicago. IF...that is not possible (I know it's Chicago) look at the link below. They stream Masses and other events. It will take you back to the Church and tradition's that we loved and help to restore your Faith the the Catholic Church is so much bigger than the flawed men in charge right now. They have a huge number of young parishioner's too. I dare any faithful Catholic to keep from breaking down in tears over what they have tossed away and what so many will never know. https://www.cantius.org/

III. The Bishop to whom Altman owes a vow of obedience is absolutely no disciple of Cupich. Shame on places like Church Militant which have done such a poor job of knowing the major players in these issues and oversimplifying the controversy to get some clicks and donations for their website. You can draw a line between those Bishops appointed by JPII and BXVI, and where they received their spiritual formation and those who were part of the McCarrick, Weurhl Bernadine, Weakland ( and what does these Bishops have in common?) The US Catholic Bishops were heading in the right direction before the manipulations of Obama and Soros and Hillary to install the Pope leftists have dreamed of. Obama "leaned hard" to make sure Chicago didn't get a Cardinal like Cardinal George. There are a lot of excellent conservative and traditional Bishops. They are blocked from ascendency by the McCarricks and Cupichs and OMalleys.

When the hijacked planes hit the twin towers of the World Trade Center and the Pentagon that first 9/11, the Taliban were in control of Afghanistan and providing sanctuary for al-Qaida. Today, the Taliban are in control of Afghanistan and providing sanctuary to al-Qaida. What then did our longest war accomplish? The Afghan army and government we stood up and sustained for decades has collapsed. The U.S. military has withdrawn. U.S. citizens and thousands of Afghans who fought alongside us have been left behind.

In Afghanistan, the mission failure appears complete. The trillion-dollar project to plant Western democracy in a Muslim nation historically fabled for driving out imperial intruders has crashed and burned after 20 years, and the Taliban are suddenly back in power. After investing scores of billions in training and arming a force of 350,000 Afghani troops, the U.S. could not stand up an army and a government that could survive our departure. And the final U.S. departure from Hamid Karzai International Airport may become, like JFK’s Bay of Pigs, a synonym for American debacle.

Are they still protesting in Cuba? I don’t know. The Cuban government has shut off the Cuban people’s internet. The big demonstrations began four weeks ago, sparked, curiously, by a rap song. The key lyric is: “Freedom! No more Doctrine!” “Doctrine” refers to the “constant cycle of propaganda” from the government, explains Cuban emigre Alian Collazo in my newest video. Sadly, silly TV reporters in America claimed the protests were about “hunger, pandemic restrictions and the lack of COVID vaccinations,” or, according to ABC’s George Stephanopoulos, “food and fuel shortages.”

The University of Texas at San Antonio is no longer using “Come and Take It” as a football chant. In August, university President Taylor Eighmy expressed concern that “Come and Take It” is inseparably linked to political debates, including those over gun rights. The chant is emblazoned on a flag waved at UTSA's football games and also used as a rallying cry during the fourth quarter. The phrase has roots in the Battle of the Alamo, which occurred in San Antonio and preceded the formation of the Republic of Texas.
