Former President George W. Bush used his 9/11 anniversary speech in Shanksville, Pennsylvania to condemn 'violent extremists abroad and violent extremists at home,' calling them 'children of the same foul spirit.' Bush also used his address to tell veterans and servicemembers that their sacrifices in the War on Teror weren't for nothing.(Snip)'At a time when religious bigotry might have flowed freely, I saw Americans reject prejudice and embrace people of Muslim faith. That is the nation I know,' he said. 'At a time when nativism could have stirred hatred and violence against people perceived as outsiders, I saw Americans reaffirm their welcome to immigrants and refugees.

"Violent extremists at home" meaning the sponsored January 6 "insurrectionists," certainly not the real-life Antifa/BLM domestic terrorists and cultural vandals who operate with a free hand. And this, FTA; he praises the new generation of Marxists created by the schools and the MSM: "Bush also defended millennials, who he said were described as 'individualistic and decadent,' saying they embraced an 'ethic of service' and 'selfless action.' 'This is not mere nostalgia—it is the truest version of ourselves,' he said. 'It is what we have been. And what we can be again.'"

Yes - it was sad . A beautiful speech ruined by his attempt to kiss up to Pelosi and the Left Wing. As usual W puts on his Kick Me sign.

He either lied or does not know what he was talking about. Al Qaeda is closer to victory today than it was on 9/10/01.

I'm so sick of this "religion of peace" and "welcoming immigrants is part of being American" claptrap from the globalist Bush family I could scream. And while I'm at it, the hypocrisy of these many leftists attending the memorial services is more than I can stand after they've done everything they can to weaken our great country for the past 20 years. Finally, the picture of Biden pulling down his mask to greet someone in NYC during the service shows how little he thought of the solemnity of the occasion.

The article at the link reminds us how the Bush family and the FBI did all they could to hide the Saudi link to the 9/11 attacks. Yet here's Dubya, praising Islam and immigrants and the surveillance state he built, while slamming ordinary Americans.

Further in the article Biden is interviewed on Sept.11,2001 where he says
"Terrorism wins when, in fact, they alter our civil liberties or shut down our institutions."
So years earlier in defining terrorism he actually describes his administration.

They have turned the whole remembrance into woke trash. I will not participate in this.
If Pearl Harbor were not such a distant memory, they would have been praising the bravery of the Japanese that bombed Pearl, and condemning Americans for standing in the way of Imperialism.

I am embarrassed to admit that I voted for this pathetic little worm. I actually thought he was a patriotic American, when it turns out all he was, and continues to be is a self-interested, mewling, insufferably smug and holier-than-thou poseur. Truly a man born on third base who though he hit a triple.

The 'religion of peace' has a violent motivation built into it's basic teachings. A belief system thought up by an insane criminal thug and the current violent maniacs are just more open about it. All those millions of 'peaceful' followers are not doing much to stop their fellow believers and woke idiots in the West are actually helping spread the terrorism. At their best, pandering dopes like Bush are inflicting an obvious anti women cult on every woman and girl in the USA. Bush can turn a blind eye to the subjugated women and girls wearing the stupid scarf or for the really 'peaceful' Muslims, the black bag they like to force women into.
It should be a crime to adapt to this blatant slavery of women in our once freedom loving country. I feel sorry for the enslaved who are here, but also outraged that this throwback culture fo death is tolerated and celebrated by enemies of America. Any man or turncoat woman who claims this is normal should try it for awhile. They can also never leave their home alone or drive or work or go to school. That is the snake we have invited into our bed. A pox on Bush and his ilk.

The Bushes are a stain on my state. I hate they use us as their political home base and future launching pad for George P. Who Dubya is is who he has always been - we just never realized it soon enough. The Bush Republicans still control the GOP and fight MAGA voters in my state. We must win against them to stop the bluing of Texas.
God bless Texas.

George, you and your administration had SEVEN YEARS to prosecute the Afghanistan war to victory, to make an example of those who had attacked the U.S., and to bring our forces home. When you got involved with sending girls to school and pushing an agenda that would play on the home front, you joined the Swamp.

GW accused Americans who tried to secure our border with Mexico of being "vigilantes."
As if stewardship of our nation, our people, our sovereignty and our boundaries are quaint ideas he and his globalist pals are fed up with.
It's no longer unthinkable to me that Biden's election was just too convenient. I could never have envisioned the FBI and Democrats perpetrating the Russia Hoax on America. I could never have envisioned Americans "electing" a "president" who would leave Americans behind in a war zone, and arm our enemies with $85 billion in US military equipment. Yet all of those destructive events happened in an effort to harm American interests, and it appears no one will be held accountable. Just another "oddity" that doesn't fit with the America I grew up in.

Bush is an establishment Republican who did not defend his personal or professional reputations or his programs and policies when he was in office thus allowing the liberal Democrats to stomp him into the gutter for years while calling Bush a dummy. Biden still recognizes that Bush is a weak sister, and immediately said that Bush gave a “good speech” calling out the violent extremists at home who of course Biden extrapolates as being the January 6th Pilgrims at the US Capitol Building, and anything got to do with Trump.

Many of our former presidents in the last 50 years have visited Saudi Arabia a few times after stepping down from office. Most have received million dollar honorariums for giving a speech, or have received multi-million dollar contributions to their presidential libraries. They don't want to bite the hand that may want to feed them even more millions. As you won't hear Obie criticize or disparage Netflix, you won't hear Dubya criticize Islam.

Wasn’t that long ago the loudest and most self important voices in this salon, those who proudly were the center of the commotion, were reflexive, unabashed Bushies from Texas who wanted us all to believe Bush (and Romney) walked on water.
We now know that the W was every bit the fool he sounded like, a puppet not unlike Biden, a front man for a committee of unelected elitists.
