A group of protesters, who claim to be artists, are boasting about a pro-choice statement they made Thursday after hanging a banner from a Jesus statue in Arkansas that reads "God Bless Abortions." Indecline, an activist art collective started in 2001, draped the 44-foot sign across the Christ of the Ozarks statue in Eureka Springs as a "direct response to the dramatic attempts being made in Arkansas and throughout the South, to ban abortion services to women in need." KNWA News reports that the group dressed up to resemble construction workers, then snuck onto the property to hang the banner.

Comments:

Their worship of leftist ideals, their secularism, it's like a cult. Sick stuff.

I don't see God blessing the taking of innocent life. God is the one who cares even when a sparrow falls from a tree. Would God not care even more for an unborn child and his/her mother?

There is a movie, "The Hucksters", co-starring Sydney Greenstreet as an unscrupulous advertising mogul. In one scene he illustrates his point that consumers can be shocked into paying attention to advertisements by spitting on the table during a board meeting. "It's disgusting...and you'll never forget it." So, what have we here...shock among some, but a response among many. The message was sent and received. Conservatives don't shock anyone...it might go on their permanent record. That's why the left owns media and the message. They provide "shock" that draws eyeballs to "public causes" pushed by the media. Trump knew the game. Now that he's gone...Hey, look, it's Mitch!

Whatever happened to contraceptives and the pill? Aren't they using these anymore that we have so many abortions? Anyway, if a woman who has had more than one abortion and wants another should be sterilized after the procedure. Obviously, she doesn't have the desire to protect herself.

These subhuman animals need to be caught, arrested, punished to the full extent of the law, and then sued for big $$$!!!!!!! Let this backfire in their hate filled and pure evil faces!!!! Then the state legislature needs to name their anti-abortion legislation "The Christ of the Ozarks Unborn Protection Act" after the evil of this act!!!!! The governor can then sign the passed legislation at the foot of the Christ of the Ozarks statue.

So it’s ok for those who oppose abortion to harass women going into a clinic because you all claim to be doing God’s work...but woe to those who may disagree and do something like hang a sign up. According to many posters here they should be punished, etc. some what hypocritical I’d say. Well guess what....the anti-abortion people offend people as well. It’s a two way street and you can’t hide behind your religions as many do. Let the world know when those among you are without sin...then you can start throwing rocks....and passing judgement on others.

#15 There is nothing hypocritical nor judgmental about wanting to protect the unborn child from killers! I wonder why those folk chose a statue of Jesus, rather than as #5 suggests: Margaret Sanger? I guess their promotion of abortion cannot stand by it’s lonesome self, but HAS to make sure it offends Christians as well as all anti-abortionists on its way. If it was like a thing of beauty why can’t it be promoted as such? It’s because it is an ugly and horrendous practice, no matter how you slice it!

I disagree 15/Jen. You are projecting your values onto someone that you have no idea of their situation in life. It is not your decision to make as to whether or not a woman chooses abortion. You are neither judge or jury despite what your church/pastor tells you. You nor any other person has the right to call someone a killer because you disapprove of their decisions. There are many people who might disagree with a woman having an abortion but they don’t judge, condemn or denigrate a person for their choices like many do who use religion to justify their actions. You, or any religious organization has the right to dictate people’s actions...yet many still try to do so. Yet just let religion and those who practice it be attacked and all of a sudden the cry of individual rights and freedom of choice suddenly becomes sancrosant.

#15, 18, and if your best friend or a family member told you they planned to off their spouse, would you take the same view? After all, you shouldn't make judgment on their situation. That would be a judgement call based on a religious/moral view. They should be given freedom of choice. And if you don't see that one's spouse and an unborn baby ARE equivalent, then the problem is that you yourself don't have an understanding of what is or isn't human or humane, which is your own form of religion that you and too many would like to impose on everyone else. Those of us who generally believe in God, know that each child is precious, has a soul, and will be viciously MURDERED in abortion. Is that not something that a truly HUMAN being should be distressed about and want to end? If you don't understand that, it's not just an issue of you lacking a similar religious ferver, It's a lack of humanity!

For July’s Top 10, let’s apply some scrutiny to this never-ending narrative on race from leftists. If our friends on the left, particularly members of the Democratic Party, are to be believed, they are the ones who are striving to protect Americans from racism, are seeking to remove bigotry from our great country, and are promoting ‘racial justice,’ whatever the heck that is. But anyone paying attention knows the facts point to a much different reality. If we assess racism using the ostensible definition currently employed by the left, racism is indeed alive and well in today’s America
