Before I get to the bad news, let me start with some good news. Christopher F. Rufo tweets that the revulsion against Critical Race Theory being taught in schools is showing results. Nine states have already banned it: Arizona, Texas, Tennessee, Florida, Arkansas, Oklahoma, New Hampshire, Iowa, and Idaho. As more people realize this effort to divide us into what Scott Adams calls “losers and a**holes” I expect we will see more states banning the teaching of this perfidious, noxious, baseless nonsense. On the other hand, there seems no backing off of it in the military, where it can do nothing but weaken our defense capabilities.

Comments:

The media is still gaslighting us, the surveillance state is growing and the DC jails are full of political prisoners.

I used to devour the news but it’s hard to care any longer when even the Republican Party is okay with imprisoning hundreds of protestors on their behalf without trial, access to evidence and in the worst conditions,

July 14 is this week. Does anyone remember what happened on that day in 1789? It seems we have our very own Bastille in Washington DC. And Fauci needs a short rope and a long fall.

And meanwhile, the antifa/blm thugs who incited the breach skate and freely walk the streets. The chicoms and russkies must be impressed with the tactics used. After all, it's Amerika's first time at re-educating a large number of its own citizens. I would like to hear first hand family accounts of their loved ones being incarcerated in the DC jails. I would also like to hear from anyone who was next to Ashli Babbitt in the capitol building when she was murdered.

States bending to the legitimate outrage of sensible people is not news, it's how government should work, the big problem is why and how this destructive piece of schiff propaganda was instilled into our schools in the first place. If I started a campaign tomorrow to convince people that cats are a race of intelligent beings from Mars and I could get billions in funding, I would be successful as well. People are too easily convinced by others because they have a couple of important-looking letters after their names. That's how diversity, reparations, systemic racism, noosephobia, white supremacy and all of the other black bellyaching got started.

There is only one solution to all this. You may not like it, I sure don't, but there it is. The alternative is subjugation, and we're most of the way there.

Banning CRT is pointless unless we also remove from power those who promote it, and ban THEM from ever holding public authority again. Otherwise the will just repackage their noxious ideas and teach them by another name.

The Capitol Police are a truly dangerous group of Nutty Nasty Nancy's official Praetorian Guards, and not accountable via normal laws. At this point, the Capitol Police needs to be disbanded, along with the FBI/KGB.

It seems like just yesterday then-President Obama put Joe Biden in charge of that “three-letter word: J.O.B.S.,” and while he failed in that mission, as president he’s back at it, this time with incoherent strategies and massive graft opportunities for all his Democrat constituencies. The proposed $2 trillion giveaway, dubbed the American Jobs Plan, only thinly disguises the graft-enabling nature of the proposal. And the means to pay for this giveaway -- higher taxes on persons, investments and businesses -- are more likely to destroy the economy, [snip] than the expenditures proposed for actual infrastructure are to increase job opportunities

It’s believed the Battle of Lexington and Concord was the fight that set off the American Revolution. While a battle at Burbank, California has received less notice, to me it is inspiring -- a community’s refusal to bow to petty, irrational, and illegal bullying. The story is fully recounted by Robert Morton and I urge you to read it in its entirety, but here’s my synopsis. Tinhorn Flats is a family-operated bar and restaurant in Burbank. Burbank has had a death rate from the Wuhan virus of 2.8 percent of which 80 percent were of those over 65 who had, on average three co-morbidities.

Richard Feynman wrote “science is the belief in the ignorance of experts,” and nothing could demonstrate that point more readily than the public’s growing disaffection with the experts of the public health apparatus -- the WHO, the CDC, and Dr. Anthony Fauci. Their proscriptions (often conflicting) respecting the handling of Covid-19 were simply not “scientific.” They were, in fact, nothing more than guesses which did not work out. Not that that stopped them from silencing those whose experience, both medical and non-medical, contradicted their guesswork.

The cynic in me thinks the press will urge a nationwide lockdown unless and until a Democrat sits in the White House at which time they will take a harder look at the diminishing Covid-19 fatalities and the increasing cost of the lockdowns. In the meantime frustrated, increasingly broke Americans are asking what happened to such rights as free speech, assembly, worship, freedom from unreasonable searches and seizures, right to bear arms, right to due process in criminal cases and privacy.

The French movie Hiroshima Mon Amour is based on human memory and forgetfulness as recounted by two lovers. The tale of the congresswoman who calls herself Ilhan Omar is a tale of an anti-Semite bred-in-the-bone corruptocrat whose rise in political power rests very largely on complicity by the media’s airbrushing of her history because they thought this physically attractive African Moslem “refugee” was just the ticket to defeat Donald Trump. The media counts on our forgetfulness and ignorance.

Life is too short to spend it on phony debates when you can see the highlights in videos and read the text of the remarks. The word peddlers are each picking their claims as to who won. In common parlance, a made man is someone whose path to success was greased by circumstances. It also refers to someone formally inducted as a full member of a criminal outfit -- the Mafia. In the political atmosphere in which Robert Mueller was born, he, like John Kerry, was virtually assured of a prestigious place in society: He was a tall white man with a hatchet jaw who (like his classmate Kerry) went to an expensive private school – St. Paul’s -- and came from a well-connected and well-off family.

They had their fun, and the denouement has begun.

YouTube deleted a video of former President Donald Trump from the American Conservative Union’s account and prevented the group from live-streaming the former president’s Sunday CPAC speech. In a statement, ACU Chairman Matt Schlapp said the group learned that its account had been frozen for seven days over a video from Friday in which Mr. Trump announces his class-action lawsuit against the Silicon Valley titans such as Google and YouTube. That loss of access to its video account meant the ACU, which runs the Conservative Political Action Conference, could not upload Mr. Trump’s speech or any other live content from its CPAC 2021 Part 2

As we previously reported there are thousands out in the streets across Cuba, from small towns to big cities, calling for freedom from the Communist government and chanting “we are not afraid!” People are saying it’s the largest mass protest since 1959. If you know your Cuban history, that’s the last time the government changed hands — when Fidel Castro took power. So, that’s an incredibly significant thing to say. From NY Times: Carolina Barrero, a Cuban activist, went even further. “It is the most massive popular demonstration to protest the government that we have experienced in Cuba since ’59,”

In a last ditch effort, Democrats in the Texas state legislature reportedly plan to walk out of a special session to prevent a number of key Republican-sponsored bills from passing. At least 58 Democratic state lawmakers plan to leave Texas and fly to Washington, D.C. to rally support for federal legislation, NBC News first reported. Most of the fleeing state lawmakers will travel on a pair of prearranged private jets, the New York Times confirmed. By exiting the chamber indefinitely, the Democratic lawmakers are denying the Texas GOP quorum, or the minimum number of members that must be in attendance to hold a valid session.
