Biden Administration's Latest Plan to Get Shots

White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki made a lot of antennas go up during Tuesday’s press conference when announcing the administration’s latest plan to try to get more people to take the coronavirus vaccine. Psaki outlined the things they were going to focus on. She then explained that one way that they were going to increase vaccinations was to go “door to door” to do outreach to “get remaining Americans vaccinated.” Psaki said that the government would be doing “targeted by community door-to-door outreach to get remaining Americans vaccinated by ensuring they have the information they need on how both safe and accessible the vaccine is.”

We have vaccines that work. I have one because I'm 75. My 98 year old Mom in Law does too. Whether anybody else does is their own business and NOBODY else's, particularly the government.. Also MY vax STATUS is nobody else's business. Apparently our King and his royal court think otherwise.

Start here first Joe. "African Americans have nearly the lowest rates of vaccination among any ethnic group. In fact, white Americans are being vaccinated at a rate 3 times higher than Black Americans. New CDC figures show that of those who have received at least the first dose of a vaccine, 5.4% are Black people, compared to 60% who are white people. According to recent Kaiser Family Foundation poll, about 35% of Black Americans said they don’t plan to get the vaccine, citing fears about safety and concerns that the vaccines are so new." https://www.webmd.com/vaccines/covid-19-vaccine/news/20210202/black-vaccine-hesitancy-rooted-in-mistrust-doubts

Coming soon: following the historical Leftist playbook, vaccination resistance/"hesitancy" will be determined by govt psychologists to be symptomatic of an indeterminate but "publicly dangerous" mental health condition. Blanket warrants will be carried by govt agents going door to door, authorizing entry into, and public health inspections of, premises where resisters live. Since jurisdictions generally have passed laws banning firearm possession by the mentally ill, personal weapons found on such premises will be confiscated in the interests of public safety.

I make it a practice NOT to open my door to strangers, and I tell them I can't hear them trying to talk to me through a closed door. I remind them that they shouldn't be on my porch; they usually leave or I simply walk away, watching them on my camera until they leave.

"The movie business is over," Diller said in an exclusive interview with NPR on the sidelines of the Allen & Company Sun Valley Conference, a media and technology conference in Idaho. "The movie business as before is finished and will never come back." Yes, that has to do with a substantial decline in ticket sales and the closure of movie theaters during the coronavirus pandemic.

The Democrats have a problem: They have run away from their core voters. And they are beginning to notice and worry. Lefty blogger Kevin Drum noted this recently. He observes that Republicans have moved slightly to the right, but Democrats have moved way, way to the left on social issues. Drum says he is “personally happy” about the Democrats’ move left. But he is worried, because while the Democratic Party has moved hard left, the voters it relies on to attain power haven’t. Thus, in the 2020 election, former President Donald Trump — despite being called a white supremacist and a Hispanic-hater

Global energy usage shrank significantly during the pandemic lockdowns and remained comparatively low during the winter. But now that the United States is reopening, along with much of the rest of the world, energy demand is spiking at unprecedented levels. In order to meet the increasing need, many countries, including America, are turning to a much-vilified but very reliable source. Coal-fired power plants are driving up the need for more coal. This trend flies in the face of all of the promises and treaties that have been in vogue of late, with countries promising to reduce their “carbon footprints” and go to renewable, green energy technologies.

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott has released his agenda items for the special session of the Texas legislature, which starts Thursday, July 8. Calling special sessions is among the Texas governor’s most important powers. The governor exists in a weak constitutional model, with the vast majority of powerful offices across the state elected and empowered in their own right (as opposed to being appointed by the governor). But that gets turned on its head when it comes to special sessions. The governor alone can call a special session, and the governor alone sets out and limits the agenda. If something is not on the agenda

"We are at the juncture where all of the challenged provisions are already the law," he wrote in the order. "Therefore, an injunction would not merely preserve the status quo; rather, it would change the law in the ninth inning."

Then as now, CNN portrayed opposition to the theory as the product of white people’s irrational fears, rather than reasoned objection.
