America’s being hit on all sides this weekend. While the country celebrates the Fourth of July, three major catastrophes are threatening the nation on all coasts. While two of the catastrophes are “natural disasters” one is manmade and all could have disastrous repercussions. As Toby Keith writes in his new song, “Happy Birthday America (Whatever’s Left of You)”. The East CoastFlorida, which is still reeling from the Surfside condo collapse, is set to be hit by Tropical Storm Elsa on Sunday and Monday. It has already wreaked havoc in the Caribbean and is said to be gaining strength. Rescue teams for the Surfside complex have already been called off and the state

It's called summer. And the drought is just what we had while Barry was president. He shut down runoff from rainfall to thousands of acres that have been planted for years. Then he stopped some places from planting because there might be some sort of fish or whatever and we couldn't kill it with planting and watering. Might. Deserts are always hot, especially in the summer but hey if you can make a few idiots believe is global change, why not go for it.

Ridiculous fear mongering. Elsa is a tropical storm, not a major hurricane, and it will lose strength as it crosses over Cuba. And what an 11 year ago oil spill has to do with any of this is a complete mystery.

This seems pretty hysterical. Florida is expecting a tropical storm? It's July, of course they are. And I hate how they name "tropical storms" these days... I'm old, I remember when they only named hurricanes. Of course, now they name snowstorms (I blame the Weather Channel). I don't expect this alarmist crap from the Post.

You mean that oil spill which Smidgen didn’t bother to go look at for 2 months, until the backlash forced him to go? Though I guess that’s not so bad now since Commie-la has broken his record of neglect. Not to mention that Smidgen banned deep water drilling in the Gulf, a judged overturned his ban and he ignored the judge. The Gulf has not been reeling for the last 12 years - complete and utter lie. I thought the NY Post was better than this bovine scat.

Not to make light of the Surfside condo building collapse, but that number of people, including many children, are shot on our cities' streets every weekend, a totally preventable catastrophe. Where is the outcry and the lamentation? They carry signs that say BLM by day and kill each other at night. Only one lone, wise philosopher, Lori Lightfoot, has been able to tie it to White Supremacy without whites being anywhere in sight. Natural disasters aren't insane, they just are, but the Gulf oil spill is still very suspicious coming right at the beginning of the Barack Hussein war on the US oil and gas industry.

A bit off subject perhaps but the University of Barcelona recently reported in Science about all that plastic in the oceans . Seems their estimates have been off by 2 to 3 orders of magnitude due to "significant methodological errors...". So there may be only 1% to 10% as much plastics in the oceans as they have been reporting (That Texas size mass is now Rhode Island). And sunlight breaks down the plastics which micro organisms consume, just as they consume oil. Of course we can learn more if the US taxpayers provide an order of magnitude increase in research funding!

People who went to a political Trump rally and got sucked in by infiltrators and instigators from ANTIFA, and Proud Boys and only entered the capitol because many of them had never seen the inside and were curious. Now they languish in DC Jail when the most that should have happened was a quick $100 dollar fine and sent home.

Two hundred years ago, John Quincy Adams gave one of the most famous and most misunderstood speeches in American history. Speaking in the Capitol building to the citizens of Washington, D.C., the secretary of state commemorated the Declaration of Independence and attacked the legitimacy of autocracy and colonialism. Understandably, his contemporaries were struck by its belligerence. But so misunderstood is the speech that isolationists to this day use it to advocate against the kind of foreign policy Adams himself practiced. When Adams argued that the Declaration of Independence was "the only legitimate foundation of civil government" and had "demolished at a stroke the lawfulness of all governments founded upon conquest,"

Those of Joe Biden’s public behaviors that align with classic dementia symptoms are escalating. In the past few days, he strongly exhibited two symptoms: A type of belligerence that’s a cover-up for confusion and memory loss and a paranoid fear of those in charge of him. I used to spend a lot of time in the company of doctors. What always fascinated me were the tales they told of dealing with patients with early-stage dementia. The most interesting point they made was that elderly people, so as not to lose face or admit their own fears, are superb at deflecting the questions aimed at assessing their cognitive skills and memory.
