Weisselberg is accused of failing to pay tax on $1.76 million of perks since 2005, according to the 25-page indictment. The Trump Organization was also charged in a 15-count indictment,

The government weaponized for political purposes. Exactly like what the left accuses the republicans of.

He’ll be fine. Isn’t the timing interesting? Are they saying the intrepid IRS never spotted this? Eric Trump says it best:
'They are petrified my father will run again in 2024.

Hand cuffs? What threat does he pose?
And another dim show trial begins with tax dollars. Stalin would be so proud.

Funny how prosecutors there did nothing to all of the rioters' looters cop assaulters, and cop car burners. But make a mistake paying taxes years ago and watch out! Bust out the handcuffs and make a spectacle all intended to hurt Trump and all of those who are in his realm.

We have not heard the CFO's side of the story. I doubt he prepared his return. I doubt the prosecutors in this case know tax law, or how accounting departments book transactions with corporate executives. These transactions could be loans, or all kinds of other things. In short, this kind of case should be handled by IRS audit, not by criminal prosecutors. I hope the prosecutor's teeth rot for this violation of professional integrity.

Grab a small fry to get the big fish...and here we go. Weisselberg has the keys to the Trump/Trump Organization kingdom, doesn't he? He's going to get the treatment, unless he comes up with some goods. FPDT came from his Mar-a-Lago Elbe exile...and now here are the first indictments and arrests. He will not be allowed back into the political game.

Clearly a politically based persecution! Do you think that the leftist, liberal, and socialist Democrats at all levels would be conducting years long civil and criminal investigations targeting Trump, his family, his business associates, and the Trump Organization if he had not been elected President as an “outsider” Republican, but instead simply stayed in New York City continuing to hand out big money as contributions to corrupt Democrat politicians and Democrat favored causes.
The question is, where was the IRS all this time, as it is said that the IRS audited Trump’s business and personal tax returns each year and during those audits could surely have demanded that those unpaid taxes be paid? The same can be said about New York State tax authorities relative to unpaid taxes at that level?

These are BS charges. Trump's organization is squeaky clean for this to be all they could invent.

When bureaucrats and politicians start playing political favorites, it's the civic duty of the local citizens to nip it in the bud immediately, by turning them into fertilizer. Allowing this behavior in our political and bureaucrat class just encourages more of the same.

I wonder how much does each and every person have to lose before the scum face real push back? Far too many of us are too afraid and too comfortable to put everything on the line, but at this rate and with the scum grabbing more and more power, I think I will live to see headlines I never thought I'd see in this country and I'm an old man. They trample our rights, make up the laws they want and destroy us at random. It is unbelievable, but predictable if you realize we can't escape the usual course of history.

When Hillary and the Clinton Foundation do not pay taxes, they are always allowed time to amend. Everyone knows what this is. How can these gestapo tactics happen in our country. Are there not any honest judges or people in court willing to put a stop to this. The government has enough taxpayer money to spend any citizen out of existence with lawyer and court costs.

This will be another nothing burger to be dragged out for a few months and to hopefully get Trump supports to get angry and become violent. They desperately need a distraction when the election fraud is announced.

I wonder what would be dredged out of Hunter Biden's various businesses if they were scrutinized as closely as any Trump enterprise? A heck of a lot more than not declaring the company car on a tax return.
