An Ohio private school has expelled three students whose moms led a coalition campaigning against Critical Race Theory being taught to their children.
Columbus Academy sent a letter to parents Andrea Gross and Amy Gonzalez informing them that their children will not be reenrolled at the school, where tuition fees cost up to $30,000 a year.
The school said Gross and Gonzalez leveled 'false and misleading attacks' on the school and its leadership through their 'inflammatory' campaign, including making claims that students were being subjected to bomb sniffing dogs on campus.

Sounds like a pretty horrible place. I wouldn't want my kids going there even for free.

Only three parents complained so the school got frisky. If the sane fifty percent pulled their kids out it would make the proper impact. The unfortunate alternative for working parents is public school, which is even worse.

Good freaking,Zeus..My son went there in middle school.in the mid 70's..one of the best prep schools in the country actually..back then and still for many years it was all boys..He left at the start of HS to go back to his neighborhood HS..also excellent..what he learned at The Academy put him about 2 years ahead..which in retrospect maybe was not a great thing.he was bored in class.Another reason he wanted to go back(besides no girls) was..their baseball program was superior..he was talented in that regard and ended up coaching at his HS for several years.(winning the State twice).before he headed to AZ.. coaching college ball and is affiliated with MLB.. I think these mother's are brave, and if I had a kid there, I would be right with them. We are seeing a growing grass roots movement!!!

Sounds like being expelled from this place would actually be a good thing.
Why would ANY parent leave their kids in such an indoctrination factory? Has everyone gone insane?

They should demand a refund of their $30,000 since the school did not live up to their expectations.

The communists around the world must be surprised and fairly happy about CRT and their aims at taking over America. All those poor useful idiots will be so shocked when the takeover is complete and their masters ask, "Critical race what?"

I agree, if the rest of the Moms would take their kids out, things would change. After all, they have the whole summer ahead of them to work on this. They can hold all kinds of Rallies and Protests in front of the school so they get their message out! DO IT! Don't worry about your kids not being able to get back in the School if you protest. Money Talks! You get enough of the Parents on Board against CRT and the school will have to back down!

I would think that the “positive relationship” is being violated by the faculty and staff and NOT the parents.

These moms are pretty brave because this area is very affluent and I am sure many parents of children who go to that school are just fine with CRT. It is the trendy thing right now, right? And these moms are probably getting some pushback from the woke in their social circles. I applaud any parent who stands up against the horrific lie that is CRT. I am sure their kids were expelled in order to nip this kind of activism in the bud. Now we can’t have parents actively engaged in speaking the truth, can we? Schools may be the frontline in the fight against communism couched in terms of race. There is nothing more determined than a mom who believes her child is at risk especially when it comes to this perverted philosophy that the democrats are forcing down our throats. Keeping fighting the good fight parents! It is worth it.

In a school, such a promise is on the part of the school to the parents and students.
The school failed in its obligation.
I'd sue their pants off!

CRT does NOT engender positive relationships- it does exactly the opposite. Sue the school for fomenting racial hatred.

Hmm. Seems like a good time to strategically place billboards like this across Ohio:
"Columbus Academy. Where students are taught that the best way to stop discrimination is...to..discriminate."

Sounds like getting expelled from that school is a blessing in disguise. Is this the future of education where one's children can be expelled for parent's political views? This is discrimination. The school should gets its butt sued off.

The expelled students are the lucky ones, and should be thankful for their escape from a terrible environment. The school has expelled their customers, and will have to find a way to get by on less revenue.

The school’s ‘positive relationship’ policy evidently extends to prohibiting free speech rights for parents who don’t agree with their curriculum. Where are all of the other parents who were objecting to the CRT nonsense? Don’t pretend to be courageous when you are so willing to cave. And don’t pretend to care about your kids education when what you really care about is a $30K a year day care facility.

HERE'S SOME COURAGE FOR YOU PARENTS WHO ARE STRUGGLING WITH THE NEW DECREE FROM WASHINGTON ABOUT CRT....I lived through WWII on a farm and never went to school because of the bombings and food rationing coupons never stretching far enough for all of us... SO my sainted mother taught us reading and writing and arithmetic at the kitchen table...also knitting and crocheting and canning available fruits and berries in the summer...I hoed potatoes and pulled rhubarb for our storm cellar...and folks... I'm a very clever woman with a 147 IQ... enough about me... what are YOU gonna do about it?

False and/or misleading statements near the end of the article:
"Critical Race Theory highlights how historical inequities and racism continue to shape public policy and social conditions today." Actually, Critical Race Theory falsely argues the above.
"It has become a key focus on the curriculum of schools over the last year amid the nationwide reckoning for racial justice following the murder of George Floyd." Actually, George Floyd was NOT murdered. He died as a result of a voluntary drug overdose couple with a heart condition. He died in the custody of the police but not as a result of police actions. Allegations to the contrary are leftist propaganda.

Sounds like it was the school administrators who violated their Terms. Parents, aka "customers," have a right regarding what gets taught to their children.

Since the school refuses to back down from programming the students with CRT propaganda it is just as well that the 3 children got expelled. I have grave concern for the children that remain in this toxic environment.

I suggest every Jesus loving Christin Dad of a kid in there should show up at their board meeting and make a stand for what’s right and it would have a big impact and they could expel every student and go bankrupt or change policies to what their customers want and believe they are paying for. Education and not Marxist brainwashing.

The fascist Left only knows destruction. They have no idea how to create. This school’s leadership is dedicated to destruction of civil society. I say take you kids elsewhere, or open your own school.
