A tourist visiting Midtown Manhattan was beaten with a baton during a fight with a stranger over a food cart line, cops said Wednesday. The 21-year-old victim, who lives in San Jose, Ca., was in line with several friends at a cart near Sixth Ave. and W. 52nd St. when he got into an argument with a stranger about 1:20 a.m. Monday over their place in line, police sources said. As the victim and his pals, all traveling together from the West Coast, sat at some benches to eat their food, the stranger walked over to another bench, put down his food and backpack

Comments:

White people visiting the Rotten Apple should be given a brochure explaining the rules, especially regarding the racial pecking order. New Yorkers like this sort of thing, seeing how they're ready to elect yet another Marxist mayor. Maybe they won't miss the tourist dollars.

Choosing to be a tourist in Manhattan these days is pretty foolhardy. It makes no difference if the perp is identified and arrested, the judges will turn him loose without bail, and there will be no charges files, as per Manhattan SOP. They are way too busy creating false charges against Trump out of thin air to bother with actual violent crime. They have political crimes to gin up.

If you value your life, don’t go to NYC and hang out after midnight. Is he nuts? Oh wait, he’s from California. Of course he is and I say that as a native daughter of the formerly golden state.

People can be filthy and uncivilized. For that very reason, I always take my own snacks and bottled water with me when I go sightseeing. I don't want to deal with outdoor vendors and the people who elbow their way through a line. Sightseeing in NYC is not on the top of my must-do list.

The U.S. economy will roar to life for the rest of this year and remain supercharged through 2022, the Congressional Budget Office said Thursday, though the analysts also warned Americans to expect inflation to rise “sharply” for several months.(Snip) The government will borrow 44 cents of every dollar it spends this year, collecting just $3.8 trillion in taxes and fees while paying out $6.8 trillion. Vogue, the world's fashion bible, has placed Jill Biden on her cover as the epitome of fashion. She's a "goddess," they explain. Which is a stretch, given that the first lady has sported getups like this loud red zebra print dress, or these huge-print patterned pantyhose worn with elfin spike heel ankle boots. It goes to show that its whole schtick is politics, not fashion. After all, the big fashion bible for the world's stylish somehow managed to overlook the nation's truly stylish first lady, Melania Trump, a former super-model, who not only was quite beautiful, but age-appropriate and elegant in her four years as first lady.

Vice President Mike Pence may be in the doghouse with conservatives but no one can say there were stories that he was a bad boss or that his office was chaotic, mismanaged, or incompetent. Things are different with Kamala Harris. The story rings true. What's more interesting is contemplating why Democrats are going after Harris.
