President Donald Trump warned you. In the name of equity and inclusion, the Biden administration is making moves that target the suburbs with federal regulation. It will pull zoning decisions away from city councils through the federal government’s typical mechanism to impose its will where it has no business intruding in our layered federalist system. The Federalist: "As part of his $2.3 trillion infrastructure plan, the Biden administration is pushing local governments to allow apartment buildings in neighborhoods that are restricted to single-family homes. The administration claims it’s a way to ease a national affordable housing shortage and combat racial injustice in the housing market.

Even after Clueless Joe is dead and gone, the illegal immigrant gangs, the huge national debt and the apartments turned ghetto will still be there and the high crime rates that they bring with them. This doddering old fool is seeking permanent damage.

All the intent of bringing crime to your neighborhood. This is how sick democratic communists. Its just not fair that cities like Chicago, Baltimore and NYC have crime all to themselves. No, they have to share. Oh, and its already started. Look at once quiet cities who have put up low income housing around once quiet single family homes. Their school system is now strained with overcrowding and the 911 calls have gone through the roof. And where are the 911 calls coming from. You got it. They're coming from the new housing units and the newly transplanted thugs that came with them. Wake up........

Democrats, of behalf of themselves and their cronies and friends, will do their best, and be rather successful, to avoid these incursions into their neighborhoods. They well know that these building are eventually trashed (inside and out) by their residents, become eyesores and public nuisances, and for decades reduce the real estate value of the surrounding neighborhood.

FTA: "They will use grants and tax credits as the carrot and eventually pull highway funds through the Booker Amendment as a stick." Keep an eye on your local planning commissions. They'll be tempted by the federal money--like developer palm greasing wasn't enough.

If a town the federal funds said town loses control of its zoning laws. DON'T TAKE THE MONEY. Don't allow yourself and your town to be bought and subjugated.

As the old saying goes, “Poor people have poor ways.” Democrats want to make sure that nobody can escape the crappy schools and crime that the “poor” bring with them, and that breed more “poor.” Nothing annoys Democrats more than a bunch of people doing well without government help.

I love how building apartment buildings in areas where there are currently only single family homes is supposed to help people who currently live in crowded apartment buildings because they cannot afford those single family homes...no mention of the fact that they would move from crowded apartment buildings near many amenities to crowded apartment buildings distant from such amenities... and no mention that it would make single family homes even more expensive.

When it comes to terrorism, if an individual criticizes groups that support or are linked to terror, he/she will be labeled by those groups an “Islamophobe.” While the term is loosely defined as someone hateful of Muslims, more often than not it is used as a malicious way to silence critics. Today, however, it seems that, even if you are critical of the terrorist groups themselves, you will be branded with “Islamophobia.” That is what Florida State Representative Randy Fine has discovered, as he is being attacked by Islamist groups

GALVESTON, TX – The Biden administration imported a rare cargo of 1.033 million barrels of Iranian crude in March despite sanctions on Iran’s energy sector, data from the U.S. Energy Information Administration showed. The cargo is only the second oil import by the United States from Iran since late 1991. [Tweet] In 2020, the Trump administration imposed sweeping economic sanctions against Iran’s oil sector as tensions between Washington and Tehran continued to escalate in the days leading up to the American presidential election. Sanctions were placed on Iran’s Ministry of Petroleum, the National Iranian Oil Company, and its oil-tanker subsidiary for providing financial support to Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps,

No, this isn’t a joke. Edward Luttwak, the distinguished Israeli-American strategist and public intellectual, tweeted the following this morning: 11 Chinese universities teach Greek and Latin. Another 20 seek staff to so as well. Back in the US, the Princeton CLASSICS department has just eliminated the Latin or Greek requirement “to address systemic racism”. Truly racist say I. Why not just end it ? Jobs await in 中国 The Chinese characters at the end mean “Middle Kingdom.” Princeton created an uproar by ditching the requirement for classics majors to learn Greek or Latin. That shouldn’t be a surprise: In 2017 Harvard eliminated the music theory requirement for music majors.

As an admittedly partisan writer, my bias shows up in the subjects I cover, not in the facts I report. I want to know what the other guys know. It is always helpful, often essential. Reporters in the political center and on left seem to feel no such obligation. Writing for audiences that know no more than what Big Media has chosen to tell them, these “journalists” are inclined to write politically useful fiction and often get away with it. Such is the case with Edward-Isaac Dovere in his new bestseller, Battle for the Soul: Inside the Democrats' Campaigns to Defeat Trump. Although no great fan of Barack Obama,

The last American president with actual combat experience, in a conflict where the United States proved victorious, was George H.W. Bush. During World War II, Bush served as a pilot with Torpedo Squadron 51 (VT-51) and on his 58th mission he was shot down by the Japanese and rescued by a U.S. submarine. Joe Biden never served in the military but from 2008-2016 he was vice president to the composite character David Garrow described in Rising Star: The Making of Barack Obama. The former Barry Soetoro never served, and for the Obama-Biden team, the role of the U.S. military was not to defeat America’s enemies.

One of the enduring mysteries, one that is rarely explored, is why all right-wing movements in America have failed to make a dent in Progressivism. The first iteration of conservatism in America was washed away by Progressive reformers in the first part of the 20th century. When political crisis struck, conservatives had no political solutions, just theoretical analysis. Progressives, meanwhile, had a program. In response to the success of New Deal politics, the American right reorganized in the middle of the last century around more practical items. Buckley-style

A lot was made last week about Tuesday May 25th being the first anniversary of George Floyd's death while in police custody. For me, the most graphic indication of the impact of Floyd’s death and its year-long over-the-top aftermath was provided by the photograph and videos of George Floyd’s relatives last Tuesday outside the White House after they met with President Biden and Vice President Harris. Right in front of the White House, family members and their attorney had their clenched fists raised and pumping in the air in a radical black power salute reminiscent of the Marxist Black Panthers of the late 1960s.

Kamala Harris is under some kind of pressure. It's hard to say what, given the working thesis (first seen in a tweet by Newt Gingrich) that Joe Biden appointed her to the position of border czar because he knew she would do nothing. But it's pretty obvious there were signs of strain in her face as she met with the president of Guatemala on Monday and then held a dual press conference. She looked like hell. Here are some camera shots from the NBC News report on the television set: [Snip for pictures] She actually looks pretty lost, uncertain, way out of her comfort zone. Not ready for prime time.
