Seventy-eight percent of senior Capitol Hill aides believe Republicans will regain the House in 2022, up 12 percent from April, according to a poll released Monday.
The Punchbowl News poll also included responses by party, which showed 57 percent of Democrat Hill staffers believe Republicans will regain control.
Additionally, 99 percent of the Republicans on the Hill believe their party will regain control of the House, ending House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s (D-CA) short four-year reign of trying to push through her radical, one-sided agenda.

Unfortunately there are some Republicans who will do their best to see that it doesn't happen.

I don't share their confidence. Until we take positive steps to secure our elections, 2022 will be a repeat of 2020 all over again. You can bet that those that want to make every illegal vote and every bogus ballot count will be improving their fraudulent processes. I don't see much happening on our side except for a few states right now.

I'd like to use that line from Tombstone: "...and H-ll's coming with us!"... but the "kick back and clink the wine glasses" attitude of the 99% scares the heck out of me.

We've seen this before, Republicans taking the House and/or the Senate. Then what? RINOS like Tim Ryan come out of the woodwork, promises are forgotten, brown nosing the MSM to get on the Sunday news shows begins and taking thinly disguised bribes from lobbyists continues. We need a brand new party to replace the sclerotic one we now have.

I like what the poll says; but it's still a stinkin' poll, and I distrust all of 'em.

This is where we can power play and cut everything off that the democrats want to do to destroy the U.S. It would be great if President Trump runs for congress, becomes the speaker. I do fear if Kevin McCarthy becomes speaker, he will be like Paul Ryan. Remember, he backed Liz Cheney. Kevin McCarthy is a RINO.

In the past election, many last minute changes were made to the election rules in individual states that removed procedures for preventing voting fraud. After the ciaos in the last election state legislatures acted to restore integrity to their elections. There was voting fraud in the last election, as in every election. But, the rule changes made it impossible to prove or disprove it was extensive enough to flip any of the races. Considering all the opposition to restoring integrity, it is probable that the next election will be the most corrupt in our history.
In light of the mess the Democrats have made upon gaining slim control, it will be hard to believe that the Republicans do not win in a landslide, IF the vote is honest.

And if we win both houses we get a stalemate. And McConnell will approve any Biden appointment. Big wow. Articles like this are feelers to see if we will come play elections again.

I've been on this road so many times that the "we'll get them next time" has no impact any more.
I have also seen what happens when the GOP gets control of the legislative branch. NOTHING!

Expect cheating to occur on a massive scale. Dems lust for power.....the consequences are not relevant to them.

Here is a fundamental question. If Pelosi loses the majority, as expected, will she be resigning? If that is the case she should not run for reelection. If she does run in November 2022, wins, and then resigns after turning the speaker's gavel over to Kevin McCarthy, she should be forced to pay for the special election to replace her. It's time we started holding people responsible for things like this.

It won't be because of anything the republicans in the house have accomplished in the past ten years. I don't see enough republican voters bothering to go to the polls.

It's too soon to predict but if inflation and hacking/ransomware issues continue on the current pace the Dems will get blasted. Biden & Co. will own those issues. And Dems cannot fix those issues with highly Partisan, party-line-vote legislation.

Hold on. I haven't heard whether CJ Roberts and his cast of associate justices agree that this "poll" has standing yet.

Unless the Dominion voting machines are eliminated and paper balloting is instituted and the voting rolls are cleaned up, the 2020 fraud election will be a do over.
