Former President Donald Trump revealed Monday he would consider ditching Mike Pence for Florida’s tough Gov. Ron DeSantis as his 2024 presidential election running mate.“Sure I would … I would certainly consider Ron,” Trump, 74, told Fox Business‘ Stuart Varney in a phone interview Monday.“I was at the beginning of Ron,” he said of the 42-year-old former Navy officer who graduated both Yale and Harvard Law School. “I was the first one to endorse him when he came out as a congressman that a lot of people didn’t know, and my endorsement helped him tremendously,” Trump said.

Much as I love the guy (and I consider him the best president of my lifetime) I would prefer DeSantis run in 2024 with Trump's strong backing. I think there are still enough people who, though they want the MAGA agenda, do not want the Trump drama to swing the election. He will stay banned from social media and have huge problems getting his message out. The attacks from the media will make his first campaign look like a walk in the park: nonstop accusations of treason regarding 1/6, endless coverage of the lawsuits in NY and all the new ones that undoubtedly would be filed, racism charges etc. etc. I expect blue states would probably try and pass laws kicking him off the ballot too based on whatever strawman they can dream up. And the social pressures to oppose Trump will be enormous. All of this will peel off too many of the weak willed and the less interested voters. In short unfair though it may be, they have succeeded in burdening Trump with too many strong negatives they can exploit. I would prefer a strong MAGA candidate such as DeSantis who is immune to the worst of these attacks, would make a great president, and is younger than Trump. I also believe it Trump runs again they will assassinate him.

# 16, I agree with you completely. Trump was a great president, but he has too much (Democrat/Media manufactured) baggage. The American people don't want a re-run of the four year hysteria, however fake and contrived. I think he will decide to stongly back DeSantis and Ron's choice of running mate.

Donald Trump has my 100%+ support for 2024!!!! After 4 years of "joe and the ho" destroying this country, we will need a proven leader who gets thing done!!!! DeSantis should be his VP, which would then make him the frontrunner for 2028 and 2032!!!!

I do not believe it is unconstitutional for the President and VP to be from the same state. It is politically to their advantage for them to be from different states, but it is not required by law that they be. I would love to see President Trump run in 2024. DeSantis would be his ideal running mate. He has a proven record of getting things done and it would set up DeSantis nicely to step right into the Presidency. I would hope he would leave his anger at the door and get to work for the American people. If he did that along with giving DeSantis is big role in cleaning out the corruption, he would go down as the best President in our history. However, if he grinds on all the unfairness he experienced, it would be off putting to most Americans. Win, then get in there and do the job Americans know he can do. That would be enough sweet revenge to last him a lifetime. It would prove his worthiness and maturity once and for all and would devastate the left like nothing else and the country would thrive. Well, a girl can dream...

I think that presents a realistic view, #16. But, politics can always bring a different twist to things. I don't know what to expect at this stage. But, Trump will be calling the shots regardless if he is running for President or not in 2024. That's the only thing certain at this stage.

Wait! President Trump is considering dumping Mike Pence did I just read that correctly? President Trump (he's still President) better learn a lesson this time around and ditch the fake republicans in the party who want to ride in on coat tails then stab him in the back. Pence did that after the stolen election. This is a great idea but time will tell. 2022 has to be a winner first if Dominion machines and paper ballots don't stop the red wave in it's tracks evil democrats never sleep.

From the 12th Amendment to the Constitution: "The Electors shall meet in their respective states and vote by ballot for President and Vice-President, one of whom, at least, shall not be an inhabitant of the same state with themselves; " That being said, I'm in favor of President DeSantis and Speaker of the House Trump (Who does not have to even be an elected member of Congress). Sorry to throw a wet blanket over all the enthusiasm for a Trump/DeSantis ticket, but until we can get a handle on election fraud and those Democrat Dominion machines, we have no reason to believe great Republicans like DeSantis and especially Donald J. Trump will ever win an election again. Remember, the global community, led by China, is all in on stealing our elections and directing who will govern the US. And for the same reasons I don't believe 2022 will be a cake walk for Republicans. The governing global and US elite love what is happening in the US today. The stock market continues to soar, even as those numbers make no sense given our economically. A weak president and a country governed by a corrupt, dangerously stupid political party is exactly what these global elites want. They are not giving up and they are not going away.

Explain to me why this matters? Election fraud worked in 2020 WITH Trump as president. It will only be more perfected for 2024. The days of GOP presidents are over. The time to reverse the takeover of the republic does not start by replacing Pence with DeSantis, or anyone else for that matter.

Here's a rumor that started a few weeks back. Trump is weighing a run for Congress as a House member from any weak district in the country. The law specifically says you DO NOT have to live in your district to run for the House or Senate. Just think of Crazy Maxine Waters. She doesn't live in her district. Trump would win in a landslide! While running for the House, he'd unite the Republicans to show up and vote and throw out the Dems. After being sworn in ---- Trump runs for Speaker of the House with the new Pubby majority behind him! Then he conducts an Impeachment against the two frauds in the White House. Imagine both China Joe and Camel-la-la being removed. When that happens --- who becomes POTUS? Why that would be the new Speaker of the House! None other than the Orange Man getting supreme revenge. ha, ha

DeSantis is capable of becoming the new Trump without all the vicious hate being created by the media. (At least for a while) I appreciate President Trump's contribution, but due to all the hate being directed toward him, I think another run for president would just create another political / media 24-7/365 attack on him. “America is back,” said President Joe Biden after he was elected, signaling a reversal of his predecessor’s supposedly isolationist approach. But as he sets out across the pond for a visit with European leaders, Biden’s pitch is likely to fall flat: The new president lacks a coherent plan to convince Europeans that America is still the most desirable ally on the world stage.Instead of focusing on China’s rise and the Islamist threat on the Continent — two central challenges facing the trans-Atlantic alliance — Biden is set to offer vague platitudes about climate change and a global corporate tax.

Capitol Police and intelligence agencies including the FBI knew Trump supporters were threatening to storm the Capitol and wanted to target Democrat lawmakers weeks before January 6, but didn't act, a bipartisan Senate Report has revealed. Law enforcement was aware of a plot to breach the Capitol, that maps of the building's tunnel system had been shared online, and that supporters were planning to bring guns to D.C., but failed to act or share information with uniformed cops. One comment seen on a pro-Trump website by intelligence agencies before January 6 read 'this is do or die. Bring your guns'. 'If they [cops] don't show up,

Footage that seemed to show Donald Trump wearing pants without a front zipper fly has thrown his critics into a frenzy, drawing accusations that he put his pants on backwards and comparisons to the 90s hip-hop duo Kriss Kross.A video clip from Trump's rally on Friday in Greenville, North Carolina raced around the internet, showing Trump's pants oddly wrinkled around the front thighs, with no visible fly.The video does not appear to be doctored, but high-resolution photos from the event clearly show a zipper fly in the pants that may have been obscured in the glare from other angles.

When his father lost his job last year, Togi, then 16, wasted little time before looking for work to support his family, even though he knew it could put him at risk of contracting Covid-19. He ended up working at a fast food restaurant in a suburb of Washington, juggling the job with attending school held online as the world's largest Covid-19 outbreak tore through the United States. "It's exhausting," Togi said, describing long days spent between school and work, leaving little time for the teenager, who was born in Mongolia, to socialize. The twin health and economic crises caused

Vice President Kamala Harris compared her decision not to visit the southern U.S. border to not yet visiting Europe, arguing her task to stem migration to the southern U.S. border is about addressing root causes of the immigration surge. "We're going to the border. We've been to the border," Harris told NBC News's Lester Holt in an interview from Guatemala City when asked whether she planned to visit the U.S.-Mexico border. (She was referring to other Biden administration officials who have been there.) (Snip) Harris appeared to grow frustrated. "And I haven't been to Europe," she retorted. "I don't understand

There is absolutely nothing, not one thing, in the curriculum vitae of Kamala Harris that qualifies her for any elected office; she genuinely is not intelligent, coherent, or able to think rationally about issues or events. Some have likened her to the “female Obama”, but that’s unfair to Obama. Harris is even more profoundly over-her-head than Obama was. At least Obama had the skillset to be able to fake it in public. Harris’s tell is the introduction of laughter, inappropriate laughter, cringeworthy awkwardness, when she is in the uncomfortable position of having to articulate any issue of importance that she just doesn’t comprehend. Harris has soundbites, rehearsed
