Unfortunately, electing Republicans often only temporarily stops the slide of the country at best, since most are weak-willed and completely spineless. It's almost always the lesser of two evils, but we continue to lose ground because most are more like McConnell and crew than Trump, and they won't stand up for America.

Got a bad feeling we cannot rely on either party anymore. They all believe in big corrupt government. I understand Trump campaigning for the Republicans. What else can he do? He has to know he cannot rely on either party. Trump's not stupid.

Donald Trump knew full well that there are many corrupt people out there based on his experience from decades of the rough and tumble of construction contractors and related unions in New York and elsewhere. Nevertheless he had no idea that these people are no where near as corrupt as the Democrat politicians and Democrat federal government employees in Washington, D.C., including throughout the DOJ and the FBI. As a result he was TOO TRUSTING whereby he did not "Clean the Swamp" anywhere close to what was reasonably warranted. He made the mistake of giving the benefit of the doubt to aforementioned Democrat politicians and Democrat employees. However this is understandable because he in good faith took the advice of the individuals who recommended to him the individuals whom were vouched for as being honest and trustworthy, such as - for just two examples - FBI Director Wray and AG Barr.

I love the idea for President Trump to run for a House seat from Florida and win (or even have someone step down and let the Governor appoint him). Then be made Speaker of the House. That would be the best fun ever.

The Supreme Court is being asked to decide whether it is discrimination for the government to require only men to register for the draft when they turn 18.The question of whether it is unconstitutional to require men but not women to register could be viewed as one with little practical impact. The last time there was a draft was during the Vietnam War, and the military has been all-volunteer since. But the registration requirement is one of the few remaining places where federal law treats men and women differently, and women's groups are among those arguing that allowing it to stand is harmful.
