Are our federal intelligence agencies
compromised?

Original Article

A lot of people have been wondering why, suddenly, the leftist establishment is embracing the idea that COVID came from the Wuhan Institute of Virology (which is tied to the Chinese military) after denying the possibility for so long. The answer may lie in the fact that the Defense Intelligence Agency has for months been debriefing a high-level Chinese Communist Party defector — but withheld the information from other agencies until recently because of fears that those agencies are compromised. In other words, it's a twofer: China did create and release the virus, and our federal government cannot be trusted.

Comments:

Remember that Gen. Flynn ran DIA, and it was likely the only non-corrupt intel agency in all of DC.
This indicates that perhaps it is still the only non-corrupted intel agency, a very sad state of affairs. Maybe Bob Barr can get to the bottom of this? (Sad, sad joke)

Eight years of the Obama administration with full cooperation from Joe Biden. I cringe when I recall talking heads on TV asserting with confidence that corruption at the FBI in DC is limited to a dozen or so at the top. Director J. Edgar Hoover had his faults but he ran a thigh ship at the FBI. I knew the FBI was not what it once was when feckless L. Patrick Gray was appointed Director in 1972. It's been going down hill since then.

FTA: Sources say DIA leadership kept the defector within their Clandestine Services network to prevent Langley and the State Department from accessing the person, whose existence was kept from other agencies because DIA leadership believes there are Chinese spies or sources inside the FBI, CIA, and several other federal agencies. So if DIA leadership didn't trust those other agencies, who else was left out of the loop? Biden? This is getting very interesting.

I disagreed with Rush Limbaugh on this point. He always tried to separate the leadership of the FBI from agents in the field. I have been saying for several years that the FBI is a compromised institution from the top to the littlest agent in Montana or Wyoming. The FBI is filled with agents that cannot be trusted. It comes as no surprise that the DIA feels the same way. What kind of country do we have where it is assumed that federal employees routinely will sell us out to the Chinese? The Democrat Communist Party is a mestasticising tumor intent to spread a malignant socialist disease.

There is no compromise. Our Intelligence Agencies are run from Beijing, by the CCP. And the take no prisoners. It is all-out war on the World by Chairman Hu. China is the superior race; China is the best; China Rules All; in the East the Sun is Red. Soon they will come out with a better biological weapon. 0.5% mortality is not very good. They will try for at least 20% mortality next. Using U S funds and expertise, of course. It is the Will of the Gods that China will reign. CCP runs the White House. CCP runs Main Stream Media. CCP runs Big Tech. CCP runs Big Sports. CCP runs Facebook. CCP runs Twitter. No surrender. No question. And CCP owns Bill Gates, Warren Buffett, all the Bushies, the RINO party, and the Anti-Trump movement. It is too late to cry about it. We just have to be a sixth column to stand against this nonsense.

Okay, two comments: 1) Why does that graphic have the Seal for the Department of the Army on it (an entity of the Department of Defense) and not the Departments of the Navy and Air Force on it, too? I give you that the Army is probably infected, but you're implying not the Navy and, especially, not the Air Force? Please. 2) FTA: "If I had to guess, I'd say it's very unlikely that those "spies or sources" inside the federal agencies are people from China or people of Chinese descent." Widburg then goes on to list various ideologies probably involved. Easier answer: Follow the money. Every year people in DOD have to take mandatory training on how to spot potential security risks. All the examples have one common denominator. Money.

The move presents a significant and aggressive step during a tense moment in relations between the U.S. and Iran. The two ships – an Iranian frigate and the Makran, an oil tanker that was converted to a floating forward staging base – made their way south along the Eastern coast of Africa and rounded the Cape of Good Hope on Friday. Satellite imagery of the ship from early May provided by Maxar Technologies shows seven fast-attack boats aboard the Makran’s deck, USNI reported.

But sometimes it's useful to stay in contact with the other side. The NYT May 27 letter discusses the history of the COVID lab leak theory and declares that "the best mitigation strategies — travel restrictions, testing, contact tracing, social distancing, ventilation, and masking — are still the best mitigation strategies." My parsimony has once again been proven well founded. Let's break it down. Mitigation is "the process or result of making something less severe, dangerous, painful, harsh, or damaging."

For over a year, conservatives have suspected that the Wuhan virus came, not from people eating bats or pangolins, but from Chinese researchers messing around with bat viruses. That suspicion has now been pretty much confirmed. China, whether carelessly or deliberately, created and released a virus that essentially destroyed the world as we know it. It should be made a pariah nation, but instead, the Senate, by a huge margin that included almost all Republicans, adopted an amendment that cuts tariffs on hundreds of products that China ships to America. I'm probably being very stupid here, but for the life of me, I can't understand why.

If these were any other vaccines, they would already be off the market. In fact, they would have been pulled a long time ago. Usually, a new drug is withdrawn after 50 deaths, which isn't typical because the FDA has a strict approval process. The COVID-19 vaccines have been exempted from it, instead being temporarily "authorized" for emergency use. These vaccines have coincided with 3,544 American deaths and 12,619 serious injuries as of April 23, according to the CDC's Vaccine Adverse Event Reports System database (VAERS, republished "as is" in user-friendly format here). The flu vaccines by comparison are linked to 20–30 death reports a year,
